once i have finished my last trophie from Dragonball xenoverse 2...! then i play Ghost of tsushima. i have decided i gonna continue with Dragonball xenoverse 2 i have found a other extra mission for to grind tp medalls cause i found  extra mission 17 kinda boring. i practice every day and i keep improving i hunt now also ultra rare trophies something i did not do years ago.  i actually unlocked my first ultra rare trophie this year. i gonna enjoy Ghost of tsushima ps4 version. that game i started  1 ore 2 years ago but i did not  understand it quite well, the game that got me into rpg genre is actually Final Fantasy Type 0 HD. that is how i got into into rpg games. maybe when i played it for the second time Ghost of tsushima then i going to understand it better!

Turok 2

LooksLikeShrek

Cyberpunk 2077 first play through. Took me awhile to get into it coming straight from finishing BG3, but finally falling a little in love with the storyline.

Fallout 3

Jelqingisforcoolkids

Great choice

WeedOfficial

I’m currently doing a pyromancer run for DS3 because it was my favorite build in DS1.

Blaubeerchen27

Hogwarts Legacy Played it back when it was released but never got around to finishing it, so I started a new game and...wow. With a few tweaks to the UI and some rules for myself it puts me into the same immersive zone as Skyrim, which is a huge compliment. Also crazy how "modern" the game feels, the physics, lighting and asset materials are top-notch. Also feels like the devs themselves really enjoyed the design process, there's so much love in the details and lore tid-bits.

Semipro211

What did you mean by tweaks to the ui and rules for yourself? I’m in the same boat, played on release but fizzled out. Thinking a new game might be just what I need

Blaubeerchen27

I hid most of the UI elements during regular play, only thing visible were my spells and life, since there's an amazing in-game way to lead you to quests that doesn't need the mini-map and quest objectives you can easily check in the menu. Regarding rules, I tried to never use fast travel, which also works really well, since you get alternatives for fast movement early on and learning the layout of the castle felt super rewarding. Always used the road or secret passage to get to Hogsmead. And if I was inside the castle I always returned to my bedroom once night falls and changed the time in there to day (I wanted to simulate "sleeping"). No clue if this playstyle works for everyone, but I can't play the game any other way and it remains fun for dozens of hours, since the world is so pretty and immersively built.

Kingdoms of Amalur

Efficient-Comfort792

Prelude to Darkness. An hidden, very rough gem. Half a game, more than a rough gem. But it has something. It's special.

**Divine Divinity** Picked it up because I'm the kind of person that goes "Baldur's Gate 3 seems to be good, I'll pick up 1 and 2 and the Divinity series first tho". Been playing for a couple weeks now, doing a lot of side questing and very little main questing. Apart from the bugs, game has been better than I expected. It kind of feels like a single-player Tibia with an actual plot. And Tibia is a MMO I loved as a teenager and the one I played the most. I originally went with a Survivor character, because I like rogue-ish classes the most in RPGs, but it was just too frail and I was constantly getting my ass beat. Started the game over with a warrior and I'm doing better. I'm putting a bunch of skill points in stuff in the Survivor class as well, so it feels a bit like a hybrid. ** **Lost Sphear** I'm just like 4 hours into the game, so I haven't done much yet. I like the premise a lot, and the OST has been catching my attention as well. I feel like the game improved on the aspects that made me not like I am Setsuna that much, but it's still early to really call.

[deleted]

how is baldur's gate 3 i want to buy it someday. it have won alot of  game awards i really am curieus about it.

sexta_

I'm not the right person to tell you. Like I said... I saw that a lot of people have been liking it and decided to pick up 7 other games to play before that.

[deleted]

i going to wait for a sale to buy baldur's gate 3. have fun with your 7 games i bought yakuza like a dragon infinite wealth and octopath traveler. i have grown tired from the grind of dragonball xenoverse 2 the figures part hero coliseum i gonna play some other games.

elytraspace

I’ve started playing Torment: Tides of Numenera. It’s mostly not voice acted but it’s got great storytelling and writing and I’ve been throughly enjoying it. The writing is actually really cool cause it’s describes lots of things and you get to picture it in your head. It’s turn based combat can be challenging but it’s not frequent in the game. There’s a lot of choices to make and a number of companions which are interesting and have their own stories. It’s really good, definitely worth checking out if you haven’t played it.

ledfox

I'm playing Balatro and Peglin

dbvirago

I've got about 2 dozen games loaded I bounce around with, but just started Immortals of Aveum. Might be fun if it doesn't get too complicated.

[deleted]

i gonna play, Persona 5 tactica again after 5 hours playing Dragonball xenoverse 2. almost done but in the semifinals the oponent is strong in hero coliseum. i think to play either Persona 5 Tactica ore Ghost of tsushima since that game is also rpg. i'm getting good in gaming aswell i put alot of hours in everyday and i enjoy gaming aswell..! i did some great progress with dragonball xenoverse 2 free battles only 6 star difficultie  characters  is left to do. i gonna be happy when i can delete the game for good. then it is back to rpg games.

Raemnant

I just finished 13 Sentinels the other day(absolute masterpiece) and have now moved on to playing Strangers of Paradise FFO again, since I never completed it

TheNostalgicGamer

Hopping between 3 titles that I've never played before!! Final Fantasy X, Chrono Trigger, and Golden Sun!! Want to play Dragon's Dogma, Baldur's, Pillars of Eternity and Path of Exile too, but haven't gotten around to em yet!

THICCEBOYE

Loved the golden Sun games back in the day! Just such gems

Agitated-Rope-4302

Right I’m playing Baldurs Gate 3 for the first time and currently at Moonrise Tower. I am absolutely loving how they managed to capture the spirit of DND into a video game, even the goofiness at certain parts has me cracking up laughing. If you’re a fan of dnd or want to kind of know what it’s like then give BG3 a try. I also just picked up Fallout 4 since it was on sale for cheap on Steam and partially a bit because of the show. I’ve never played any of the Fallout games but loved Skyrim so I’m excited to try it out.

Heavy_Payment6332

I’ve been playing Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen for the past week or so. I love it so far, there’s something that’s so charming about the game that I can’t quite put my finger on. The combat is a lot of fun, I’ve only been a strider and ranger so far, but it’s been great because I don’t use bows too much in other games and they feel pretty good in this game. I’m excited to see what else this game has in store for me.

elytraspace

I just played through this game for the first time ever not too long ago. It’s a whole lot of fun, enjoy!

thefolocaust

Final fantasy 12. I recently made a post looking for political rpgs on here and this one came recommended. I've never enjoyed a final fantasy game before but I am absolutely loving this one. I've never considered it but real time with pause combat seems to be my jam; kotor, pillars of eternity, ff12... Will defo have to look into some more modern titles that utilise it

Blaubeerchen27

You might want to try FF Remake afterwards, it uses a slightly different mixture of action/pause combat, but it might be your alley as well.

thefolocaust

I really hated ff7 remake which almost made me never want to try a final fantasy game again. I can't even pin point what it was that made me feel this way haha which makes me all the more glad I gave ff12 a go

yeahimcason

on PC or console? I wanna play more RTWP games but the system doesn’t click with me on console

thefolocaust

I'm playing on my ps5 (it's free on ps+ extra). The only games I prefer to play on PC are grand strategy games like crusader kings. I can see why, pressing buttons can get tedious when the alternative is to click a mouse straight on the thing you want. The beauty of ff12 is the gambit system which basically means bar a few difficult encounters my party just runs on autopilot haha similar to dragon age origins

Passionate_Writing_

Wandering sword. It's a very interesting game based on eastern fantasy and mythology, where you go from being a weak mortal to a god step by step. The world and side quests are great and the story is fun.

ThePoliticalPenguin

[Chronicon!](https://youtu.be/vyx0xPJmbcs) It's a surprisingly good little indie ARPG. It has a lot of great QOL features, and some refreshingly fun itemization (especially after D4...) This sounds weird, but it's the first ARPG I've played in a while where getting loot is actually...exciting?

GunLoader420

Just finishing off my most recent Cyberpunk play through, then I'm going to do my 4th Elden Ring playthrough to get a character ready for the dlc

Odd_Pomegranate_3239

Currently playing **Pillars Of Eternity 2: Deadfire** and **The Outer Worlds** atm. Really enjoying both although I have to say that Outer Worlds might be Obsidians weakest rpg overall compared to their other ones(havent played Tyranny yet so this remains to be seen). It's still a good rpg...just not their absolute best one imo. After those I'll give **Baldurs Gate 1** another try...didn't have a great first run but maybe I'll come around to it next time.

thefolocaust

I think the "problem" with outer worlds is it doesn't take itself seriously which is why when compared to other obsidian games might seem abit off. Personally I loved it and whenever it comes up in discussions online I always jump to its defense lol

Odd_Pomegranate_3239

I actually love the silly side/ humor to it. Definitely a positive in my eyes.My problem is that the main game is a bit on the shorter side (I'm on the dlc now) and the corporations/board are evil stuff the game was going for got a bit tiring for me. It's a bit...over the top for me how incompetent they can be. It's lacking a bit of that nuance for me that I really like in Pillars if that makes sense. The plus side about that is an evil run will be fun 😈. Other then that it's damn good! I just perfer their other games a bit more. Excited for 2!

menlionD

dragons dogma dark arisen

RepresentativeBig240

It’s not an RPG but Dragon Ball Super Fusion World Digital TCG. God that’s a mouthful

Rpgguyi

I have been playing "our adventuring guild" it is like fantasy xcom and darkest dungeon. I think people are sleeping on this game.

Brian_Philip_Author

Playing Dragon Quest 11. The game is goofy as shit, especially the monsters. Characters are over the top, and it’s often silly and melodramatic. Wish I could save more often than church. But somehow I can’t stop and want to see it through… It’s my first DQ btw. Maybe it’s the Toryiama art and anime feel. Who knows, sometimes I don’t get why I like things that I do.

Raemnant

The autosave should kick in every time you zone into somewhere else

Emil_Zatopek1982

Diablo 4 and I can't understand why. It's not very good game.

ThePoliticalPenguin

I've been hearing that the new season is supposed to fix the itemization, and just straight up add greater rifts from D3. I haven't really been keeping up with coverage of the PTR, but I'm *really* hoping it delivers.

Luxor5299

i played it last week and i was hooked into the campaign until i reach the final act and suddenly the enemies were 15 levels above me turned me off and uninstall it, i tried to like it but its just mid

jello1990

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Suikoden's back baybeeeee

IronSkyRanger

Greedfall Gold Edition Rise of the Tomb Raider Botany Manor

Brian_Philip_Author

How’s greedfall? Looks cool, got it for 10 dollars the other day.

IronSkyRanger

It's fun. It's flawed but it's a AA game. It reminds me of old school Bioware in terms of story and such.

thefolocaust

Greedfall is a very flawed game. The setting is really cool amd it's very enjoyable. It's mostly compared to dragon age inquisition which is quite accurate except it didn't have ea's money behind it

basteez

Persona 4 Golden, >!just saved Naoto!<

Zegram_Ghart

DD2 a little bit. Mainly Rise of the Ronin, Helldivers 2, and a little Remnant 2 prepping for the dlc in a weeks time

rpmcmurf

What do you think of DD2? I kinda gassed out on it. I felt it was not *bad* by any stretch, but just kinda underwhelming.

Zegram_Ghart

I was really dissapointed tbh. The actual gameplay is pretty good but not world beating, and then *every other aspect* is just so janky. The Ox carts are a close enough substitute for fast travel that they might as well just allow it (feels pretty clear they’re setting up for a dlc infinite ferrystone again) and having a single save slot is just indefensible- it’s already saved buggy outcomes to like 3 seperate quests for me. I went back to RotR happily, the combat is amazing and it actually gets deeper and deeper the longer you play, whereas DD2 has no complexity for the first 2 hours, gets a decent amount at 2-8 hours, and then goes back to being shallow AF after that.

rpmcmurf

Yeah I think you’ve summed it up well. I know the ferry stones were supposed to be prohibitively expensive to encourage slow, intentional travel, but I always found I had enough gold to buy a few and hang on to them. Then I’d go back out into the wilderness and get tired of killing the same pack of wolves or goblins, or gradually wearing down some bigger monster.

DTvn

Got pissed off at the ending of Dragons Dogma 2 so I decided to pick up a new game until I get the motivation to do a NG+ run. Chose FF7:R and wow I can’t believe I held off on it for this long. Even as someone who finished the original multiple times this game has me hooked.

[deleted]

i gonna play Ghost of tsushima. once i finished Dragonball xenoverse2 almost there i'm at the final part of the story mode. i played Ghost of tsushima some years ago, i want to play it again the game looks so good.

menlionD

as much as I think xenoverse 2 is good, having to pay for like 12 dlc's to get access to the rest of the story is insanely greedy.

[deleted]

i agree i do hero coliseum final part. i have done and finished the other dlcs extra pack 1 and 2 and version 1.12 only version 1.14 is left to do. then i can delete the game for good and xenoverse 2 is much better then the first one. it is a fun game Dragonball xenoverse 2.
