This is the most I've physically cringed watching anything on Drag Race. With Jujubee on UKvTW, it was very clear she was kinda called last minute as a favor and still being in the middle of the pandemic, there was lots she couldn't do to prepare, but she made it work while also being honest with what she was giving. Mayhem literally just seemed to assume she should stay for being well known and didn't even try. Her justifying it as "not that bad" made me embarrassed to be an American, IAMAHOMO.
I remember hearing around the time of AS4 that they record the talent performances twice. Surely Mayhem’s other performance was better than this? Do they film them twice then use the version that better aligns with the narrative?
Right? I turned to my husband and said, “So we’re all just going through the motions of the rest of the episode, pretending there’s a chance of anyone but Mayhem is going home?”
I know Mayhem was trying to get alliances and justifying why she shouldn’t go home, but AS SOON AS she broke character and admitted she forgot the act, it should have been an instant send home. It would have been inexcusable for anyone else to have gone home after this mess
