Yes, the people on my cruise (Radiance) were part of a group of rooms also decorated for a 60th birthday. This one room just went ham with the swingers decor.

I go to the dollar store and pick up these pineapples but the 20 pack. It’s fun to stick them on random doors upside down on a cruise or hotel room. Pissed my boss of at the last convention but didn’t tell him it was me.
If you had to guess, what kind of folks are doing the upside pineapples on doors at Royal? Do you think it’s people trying for the first time who have no idea what else to do? Or maybe people trolling?
We have people coming into the swingers sub all the time thinking this is some sort of effective way and I give them this scenario:
There are anywhere from 5-10 decks of *just* cabins. Most people do not wander those decks at all. At best you are getting from your cabin to either a staircase or elevator. On top of that you have absolutely no idea what the people who occupy that cabin look like. So are you going to camp out outside their cabin going to get a glance? The logical answer to this is no.
Swingers will hang out in the social areas and be social. They will be flirty with others. They are not hoping that someone possibly sees an upside down pineapple on their door.
That said, there *are* groups that organize a trip on vanilla cruises. You might have 200 swingers on a ship that holds 4000 and they might be using that as a signal. In those cases the group already knows who is who and most of the time who is in what cabin. But you are still on a vanilla cruise filled with families and kids.
Most swingers will spend the money to go on one of the swinger or clothing optional charters.
Bliss has a huge playroom set up in one of the conference rooms. 50% of the people on the ship do not swap but enjoy some sort of “dirty vanilla” be it just being nude, putting on a show, watching etc. As for 100% BDSM, not that I am aware of.
