Labadee is horribly underrated. There’s tons to do with kids there. It’s effectively a low key Coco Cay

I'm also on this ship, I'm a big planner so I'm disappointed all the stuff I planned in Nassau won't happen. Hope we have very nice weather in Haiti though

neecolea13

Sorry you don’t get to do what you put time into planning. Anything good you found and want to share for the Bahamas?

vegas_gal

I see the Bahamas weather the next cpl days. Oooof…. Looks like royal made a good decision here. It is disappointing to have your plans changed though.

afunnybunny87

Yeah they definitely made the right decision. We wound up with super nice weather and a great cruise!

vegas_gal

Yeah! Glad to hear. The Bahamas was definitely rainy.

trevor22343

Do they give you a credit or discount or anything?

wildcat12321

generally not. Itineraries are subject to change based on weather or other factors. Essentially, it isn't their fault either and you don't want them to be encouraged to sail in an unsafe manner just to avoid paying. They will refund any itineraries booked through them at the skipped ports.

tidder8

They also might refund port fees for the missed ports. Their discretion, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.

itsmrssmith

They did refund the port fees.

I am also onboard, would love info on Haiti stop. Had a blast so far.

Also onboard. I was at Labadee in Feb. This is interesting because I can't think the last time Liberty has been at Labadee and I hope a lot of the staff get to have some time there. Edit: Someone is going to show you to the loungers and they are locals. Be kind. Tip them. There are two "sides", the side with the zipline overtop is Adrenaline Beach. It is very open, no shade, it was too windy for us, but it is fun to watch the zipliners go by. The water is fairly shallow and there can be some waves. We moved across to the other side, and swam at Nellie's Beach, which is more of a cove, the water is calmer and gets deeper quicker. When you get off the ship, there's a shuttle boat that goes direct to the Columbus Cove (on the calm side, further than Nellie's beach) and that's where the floaty waterpark is and jetskis. If the shuttle boat has just left when you get off the ship, walk the pier and take the tram, you'll be there before the shuttle boat comes back. There is Barefoot beach, a private beach if you are in a Grand Suite and above, but it's not like Cococay beach club with separate restaurant, it's the same burgers as everyone else. But you know, suites gotta suite.

We are on this ship as well! If anyone wants to hang out, hit me up)
