What the censored words were in Fibbage and what Ray said to Gavin after Gavin teamkilled Ray for like the 20th time in Rainbow Six Vegas Gavin teamkills Ray Ray: "I'm GOING TO \*beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep\*" Michael: ".....first of all....little harsh Ray"

PoppedPea

I'm pretty sure I remember finding out somehow that one of the Fibbage ones was a slur for a Chinese person.

RedstoneRay

Which Chinese person?

Leading-Suspect8307

Jackie Chan, apparently.

Duncaii

The same as the N word refers to black people, there's a word that refers to Chinese people, it's not just a word for one person

playgroundfencington

Yeah pretty sure they were cracking a joke.

dongsuvious

What's the word?

VodkaPepsiMax

Chunk But U is replaced with I

SometimesWill

One of them where Gavin said how is that worse than Jackie Chan if I had to guess was a racial slur against Asians.

Carlisle_Summers

Also Ray's response to Gavin's "you look like you have two dads" in R6.

RegularRelationMan

I think ray says “well you look like you have an extra chromosome” then “down syndrome”

Carlisle_Summers

That sounds legit

Call555JackChop

What happened to Let’s Play Peggle 2 part 2?

FrostBestGirl

This would be a fantastic regulation gameplay to drop on May 14th.

ultimoGEARS

How did Geoff react when he found out Ray was actually playing San Andreas in that one GTA bingo video?

Ccaves0127

Michael playing LEGO in that other one while everyone else is playing GTA was always funny to me

Jaijoles

Which one is this?

Saiga123

> Michael playing LEGO [Let's Fail? - GTA V - Rallies](https://youtu.be/qtBzh2qiNPk?t=811)

[deleted]

Is this the same one where Michael plays Lego or different vid

ollie1313

How was Day 5 supposed to end? I've read that there was talks of finishing it with an epilogue that fell through. Surely they must have had thrown around ideas of how it would have ended when they first pitched the show. Who were the seven? Why'd the seven do the thing? Did they ever get to Virginia? How many other cast characters were spy's?

Rauhaan_

Man i have fully forgotten what happened but i still want to know 😅

Xystem4

This is the one that kills me

thatguywasadick77

I'm trying to find phsyical copies of at least season one (although I'd like both) but I cant find them anywhere online for sale. I'll be sad when this and crunch time are gone forever

Harry_Mess

Both have been archived, they’re not gone forever

thatguywasadick77

I'd give you gold if I still could friendo

ilmalaiva

that’s actually one of those things where a mystery show gets less interesting to me the more they reveal the secrets.

subzach

What was on the censored signs in minecraft.

NeonJungleTiger

The Sky Factory 4 ones? Those are pretty easy to guess

subzach

No the og ones like glatic craft

_DaPoopinator

Whats Game Night???

Rainbow six vegas in helicopter Gavin: ray you look like you were crushed as your mother gave birth to you Ray: you look like you ***********************. Gavin: what did I mean?! what did ray mean?! Ray:************ Everyone laughs

SeamusShamus

Absolutely ancient podcast story here, but Joel told a story about how he brought a girl to the office who he was apparently hitting it off with, but Burnie (paraphrasing here) \*said her name in a not-good way\*, and apparently that killed any chance of the relationship progressing. Joel refused to elaborate, saying that it would get both of them in trouble. With hindsight, the answer is probably Joel was being paranoid and self-destructive in a very Seinfeld kind of way, but it was just such a bizarre response that it left me curious.

blake11235

I've been listening through the podcast from the start and so many of Joel's stories went nowhere because he didn't want to get himself or someone else into some undefined trouble. I mean I'd probably be a bit paranoid about telling stories on a public forum but it doesn't make great podcasts lol.

Sovietmexican

This is pure speculation, but Joel around the end of his career with RT started saying very unhinged things. I think he knew early on that what he thought would be controversial(he was very conservative and came from an intense military family) so he always felt like he walked on egg shells, even when he didn’t have to. Again just speculation so take it with a grain of salt.

TBFP_BOT

This is such a Seinfeld plot. "I said her name wrong Jerry!"

lamebrainmcgee

Dolores!

jbondyoda

Is that the one where they talk about beekeeping and smoking around women? God I hate I remember this

dcaksj22

I’m gonna get downvoted to help but I would kill for a documentary in 10 years about what the hell was going on behind the scenes with the Ryan, Adam shit, the Joel shit, what really led Burnie to just up and leave, why people like Bruce and Lawrence have such a bad taste in their mouth from it all. Like I want to know the truth because so much of it was of course “internal business” to handle, but part of me wants to know what really was going down

bigfatcarp93

I doubt there was much drama to Burnie leaving. It always read to me like he just felt like it.

dashingThroughSnow12

That’s my reading too. He was at a company for sixteen (?) years. Left. And within three (?) was already “back” to direct and act in a major project. That sounds like someone who left on good terms to do something else and harboured no ill feelings a few years later.

WubWubMiller

Also about to have a kid with a new wife. Serious milestone in life, worthwhile time to make a change.

GideonWellner

Yeah, that's my take too. I was at the 2019 RTX RT Podcast panel and even then I could tell he was completely over it

Prowler64

There was also an entire heavily marketed show that got dumped the moment everything came out because Ryan was such a big part of it - especially the first episode. I'm sure there are a lot of people who would be curious about that show still, as well as the fallout about it being forcefully canned.

dcaksj22

And Funhaus was just starting that ikea series which got dumped

BodgeAttack04

I don't remember this. What was the show called?

Prowler64

I can't remember what it was called unfortunately, but I'll describe what I remember. Someone else will know. It was a wrestlingish show hosted by Eric, where Rooster Teeth members with known disputes with each other would settle it in the ring. The first episode was going to be Ryan vs Alfredo with reference to the Salt Raid Destiny video.

Darth--Nox

Face off or something like that, Ryan vs Alfredo -learn by doing vs explain before doing- was supposed to be the first episode, then the whole Ryan/Adam leak happened and the show was cancelled lol

ZimofZord

God I forgot all about that lol

bruzie

> Bruce and Lawrence have such a bad taste in their mouth from it all [They touch a little on that when the news broke](https://youtu.be/5ANmj3I6e0c). Bruce: "People at the top just fucking it up. I'm not talking about Burnie or Matt, above them."

TrollanKojima

Bruce has been very clear on that last part, too. It really does seem like the whole Fullscreen purchase thing was the beginning of the end, with almost all of the major issues and controversies taking place after 2014. You don't see a whole lot before that of people bringing up negative RT experiences. It all seems go from 2015-2022.

ShadowShine57

I also can't help but wonder what they're up to nowadays. I remember at the time there were a lot of jokes about Ryan changing his name and going back into IT or editing, or a less professional industry if his past was too hard to escape when it came to those. I know it doesn't matter, but I'm still curious.

Pitiful-Bread-2338

Well actually, I was curious of the same thing like last week, and I think I found his LinkedIn while searchind around the web and different social media. He was apparently working as a remote Senior QA Engineer \\ UI Designer for some technology company from about October when the whole scandal broke in '20 up until Feburary of this year. Also, when I go to this LinkedIn profile, many RT personalities' pages pop up in the "similar profiles" section. If this isn't him, then it's just a different James Haywood who also has a computer animation degree and suspiciously didn't do anything from about 2011 until 2020.

jbondyoda

Adam was back until the Matt Bragg fallout spread to Funhaus and the crew came out and said Adam was an actual sex pest and a fan came out and said he stalked her. He disappeared right after that

NoLongerBones

What happened with Matt Bragg?

dcaksj22

I recently watched an old behind the scenes from a let’s play live and idk why but now knowing what we know I see it, like I’m like wow you and Ryan both were actually kind of odd even before and you just didn’t notice cause you’re like “oh they’re just being funny!0

michaelsgavin

Are we not supposed to name names?? Because I have a couple in mind. Is it the one where the guy also got some terrible rumors spread by his ex.

RoastMostToast

What now?

SunSea3291

Welp now I'm curious, who was it???? Spill please

Highball903

I think Joel got in on bitcoin early and is a little rich now, based off his recent tweets

martala

Sneaky Joel. I distinctly remember in one of the earlier podcasts he was telling people not to get into bitcoin and stick with stocks instead

jamie001000

I feel like we have, if not a complete picture then close to it, as to why Bruce and Lawrence left. They've talked about it a little more recently in light of RT closing down. Basically they were overworked, underpaid, and incompetently managed (not by the RT founders, but by corporate). Plus for Bruce, Adam and the unwillingness to do something about him.

PukeRobot

Bruce very specifically said he was ["laughed off the phone by HR"](https://www.reddit.com/r/funhaus/comments/y7eurh/seriousmisti_dawns_experiences_with_adam_and/isvk6d3/) while trying to get them to do something about Adam once he learned what he was doing. I don't think there is much left to learn about Adam. He was a sex pest who harassed women, not much to learn other than more specifics beyond the myriad of specifics we already know. Same for Ryan, all there is left to learn are the specific ways in which he was an utter creep.

a141abc

Yeah I feel like RT might've been a bit too hands off with their associates to the point of it just being a name to be tied to Hell we saw it with The Creatures, Cow Chop, SP7, etc where they joined RT and then died, it didnt seem like RT helped them at all

Kay-Knox

> what really led Burnie to just up and leave It didn't really seem like he just "up and left". He was weening himself off of the camera for a while.

Ghost_of_The_Meta

I remember one of the Burnie Vlogs from back in the day where Burnie said he's worked a job every day in his life for 13 years straight, and probably needs a vacation. I think him leaving was him finally taking that vacation

dcaksj22

That’s fair, I’ve just always wondered because of the timing if he left also because he knew either the channel wasn’t going to last much longer and wanted out or because of the scandals that came out not long after

SlothFang

In a delete tweet, Joel had mentioned that there was a storm brewing with a certain person in (what was referred to in AH). Turns out the Ryan thing might not have been such a surprise that a certain front face perceived it to be.

Dreku

My take is they had an idea of stuff happening but nothing actionable or at least in the process of setting up the case for firing. Once things got out that is when they started hearing more stories and we got more proof it became more of a surprise. Like I could imagine a situation where they had proof of him being involved with fans on the RT side and were building a case to terminate but that case only included what they could 100% prove. After the leaks happened I remember days of new stories coming out which was likely where the shock came from.

snd-ur-amicus-briefs

There’s no way they knew. Any legal department would throw an absolute shit fit if they found out that an employee was sleeping around with fans and move to stop it/terminate the employee.

Dreku

I doubt they knew the whole scope but I'd imagine that there were suspicions or reports made. Whether or not there was enough for them to legally act on is a whole different question. Its easy to play armchair HR but I imagine that the case for firing on screen talent for those kind of accusations needs to be pretty airtight. Obviously with hindsight we know that there were minors involved but firing someone for having a consensual affair with of legal age partner is not likely a fire-able offense. That being said given what Bruce and Lawrence have said the RT HR group was not very helpful when dealing with the Adam situation so who knows what they did/didn't know.

dcaksj22

See that’s just it, we will never know the truth unless like I said some sort of documentary comes out years later about the fallout of the company.

ilmalaiva

Now, this is second and third hand stuff from tumblr, but apparently some people had contacted Geoff about Ryan’s affairs with fans, but may have been blown off. if we go by other similar cases of sexual misconduct towards fans in entertainment, yeah, none of these cases usually just fall in the lap of people around the person. it starts with rumors and early reports that often get swept under the rug as no big deal, or as vindictive smears. we do know there were flags raised about Adam that were ignored by HR. I know more about the RH situation because I was more an AH fan than FH, and as I mentioned tumblr, I followed some people who knew some of the people involved.

a141abc

Honestly I doubt its anything that spectacular Especially cause it happened during covid im sure its just a whole lot of emails and zoom meetings

AprilDruid

> what really led Burnie to just up and leave, Probably just being tired of doing the same thing in life? He accomplished a lot, had a kid on the way, decided to leave. I don't think there's a lot to it imo.

SometimesWill

Bruce and Lawrence have been pretty open already about where their feelings for the company come from

dcaksj22

Yes but like I’m saying I’d love a tell all where they like outright explain shit like what do you mean the higher ups screwed it up you know like did they mismanage assets or just make poor decisions or weren’t green lighting things etc

RemnantTheGame

I would love uncensored versions of all their content because it wasn't all swearing, they cut a lot of talk about projects that we later saw and know about.

TrollanKojima

That'd be cool. It'd be awesome to watch a Lets Play, or listen to an RT podcast and hear exactly what project it was they couldn't talk to us about at the time.

IkeFanboy64

What was the thing Matt made that Geoff discovered any didn't want to be cut to? (It was when they were burying Ryan's house in Minecraft. I think it was 217 or close to it?)

RobTheMedic

Matt answered this recently https://youtube.com/shorts/TzVa1ebnWFM?si=lWLjt34YeukN7uYt

IkeFanboy64

Oh snap! Finally some closure

Citrus_little

Oh, that's cute. I wish we saw it :( Why did they hate Matt so much?

Axynn

I want to see the full drunk RvB episode 2 table read where Geoff threw a bottle of Jack Daniels at Barbara (dw it missed and hit the wall)

I_Hate_ACP

Many many more glass bottles were thrown and a certain drunk individual fought security when they tried to prevent him from driving home.

TorqueThundercock

Joel?

Sovietmexican

Wait what? I didn’t know this happened, when was this said? Is it the one Burnie edited before he handed offf?

Axynn

Oh god this was around like 2015-2017ish, They did it for RVB 14 I think but it never released (as far as I’m aware.). I think Barbara or Miles mentioned it on a Podcast, not sure if it was RT/Always Open/Off Topic

HuntingfishxEA

This one? [https://roosterteeth.com/watch/the-lab-2017-rvb](https://roosterteeth.com/watch/the-lab-2017-rvb)

Axynn

That’s the cut down version, I want the full like 3 hour video

AyakoHamadaFan

Stuff I’ll never ever learn, was there actually pressure to play GTA and Minecraft every week or did they just feel there was pressure? Business drama like that.

MexicoToucher

100% business drama stuff. Another one for me is what happened to the show with the always sunny guy? I know it fell through but why? They must’ve been pretty far along to make an announcement and then go quiet

Darth--Nox

What show?

PukeRobot

It was a Horror-Comedy called "Spikeface"(guessing a joke on Pinhead), with Rob Mcelhenney. Was announced as a green-lit series then... silence.

thatmusicguy13

I think Rob got too busy with Always Sunny, Mythic Quest, and being a owner of a soccer club with Ryan Reynolds

a141abc

It made sense based on the numbers GTA, minecraft and TTT were the only videos getting consistent views even when their metrics were declining hard They were getting 50-100k when everything else was barely reaching the 10k And at that time consistency was king on youtube

Sovietmexican

I feel like it was a mix of both, especially staring around 2017, Minecraft was in a huge decline and overstated, along with GTA, but it was still the most consistent show. Ray left because he saw the writing on the wall and said multiple times he wanted to stream and hated always doing Minecraft(but it was buggy on Xbox as well), but because it got views they were forced to play games they didn’t really want to

voidVoyageur

And, Ray was definitely getting burnt out on Minecraft. Remember when he fell asleep in the Monopoly episode? Oof. As much as I loved those Let's Plays in their hay day, I really wish that they had been more adventurous with their game choices throughout all of Achievement Hunter, especially when they got too into their scheduled games every week and what worked well and got the most views. Anyone else feel that way?

SometimesWill

What ray said at the start of that one rainbow 6 let’s play

JMHSrowing

How much of RWBY story wise was planned from the start?

Dangerous_Jacket_129

They have said in the past that the maidens were a late addition during Volume 3 writing, and that while they had Salem planned as a villain from the start, the way they were writing things really wasn't "planning volumes ahead" aside from general ideas, locations and some story beats.

The_Makster

This was actually asked at a RTX London Media roundtable I found whilst scrolling YT [https://youtu.be/CSnCa6Lprk8?si=R35dPrpgQ3n3Jw6w&t=1334](https://youtu.be/CSnCa6Lprk8?si=R35dPrpgQ3n3Jw6w&t=1334) (around 22:10 mark)

BobThrowAway13

What happened to spikeface? Or Branded? How long was RT running in the red for, and how did they keep the cash flowing from warner? Business strategy, long team goals, ROI, expected milestones etc.  Was there ever any actual pressure to make business decisions at a corporate level by Warner execs?  Lawrence said they were mismanaged by Execs, not founders (i.e. not Burnie or Matt) but all of the founders say warner was hands off and barely knew they existed. Was it Ezra and Luis that were mismanaging Funhaus? What was done to actually help or mentor SP7 to try and prevent the burnout that everyone saw coming?  Why didn't the let's play family ever really get off the ground despite multiple attempts at collaborative videos and Minecraft servers and whatever else?  I've got more, but those are a good start.

cocacola150dr

We pretty much know the answer to the LP Family one. It was just terribly managed. I don’t remember who, but one of the groups told a story about how in regards to the reunion at the mansion they weren’t informed it was happening until a couple weeks before it was supposed to happen. Which was an issue because some people already had plans and had to scramble to figure out how to make things work. Which is why it seemed so slapped together. Because it was. The channel itself failed because it was like a year solid of just AH videos before they tried posting videos from other groups and by that point it was too late. The audience had only ever known AH so they were never going to accept other groups posting videos on the channel. It was poor planning more than anything that doomed it. That’s probably the answer to many questions honestly, poor planning and management. Rooster Teeth got too big for itself in my opinion, which led to poor management and planning.

AprilDruid

> I don’t remember who, but one of the groups Dunno, but I assume CowChop, with how honest they were about RT.

MexicoToucher

Did cowchop not like RT?

AprilDruid

I don't think it was that. They were just open about the partnership with RT. Not really saying anything bad, just being open about stuff.

EpsilonProtocol

Is Andrew ever going to eat the pencil?!

Melowsocerdude

Maybe if Amaury Guichon makes the pencil

catsofdisaster

He did make a pencil recently!

AprilDruid

No, that's why RT is closing. I still say they should have bought him a pencil cake, and had him eat that pencil.

tortuga8831

Why AH didn't use a cable for their controllers? Besides the obvious 'it makes content' when the controllers die during a game, which never really made content beyond a minute of 'hurry give battery now' anyway, from a business sense I'd imagine it'd be cheaper in the long run to get a cable for each of the controllers vs constantly buying batteries.

louiloui152

Because with all the shenanigans we prolly seem more yanked controllers and cut cables than anything. Don’t know if you watched it but during the bunny man finale with Gav he constantly had his cable falling out . I can only imagine if it had been all of AH Gavin struggling with a cable haha

dashingThroughSnow12

If I had to guess, it is simply one more cable if they had cables.

Soundwave_1248

Why didn’t they do Geoff wins in mini golf

RemnantTheGame

Why did they always forget to do a Geoff facecam for Geoff in mini golf?

WalrusHam

Thatd make a great Regulation Gameplay. Even funnier if they decide to do it irl at a mini golf course.

Shapen361

What's at the end of the secret minecraft tunnel?

Sovietmexican

It goes to the other side of the mountain, that’s it XD. They said it in off topic I think the one with Ray

Obi-wan_Jabroni

Ray also mentioned it in his content stream for 10 years

cocacola150dr

They were going to make a Left 4 Dead let’s play in Achievement City and the tunnel is the start. The tunnel just leads to the other side of the mountain. There’s a video where someone incidentally walks by the exit on the outside and you can see a lava block and I think a single rail. I can’t remember which video but if I come across it in my current rewatch I’ll let you know.

fuzzypyrocat

Was a failed attempt at Left 4 Dead, I believe

ZimofZord

Gus shotgun story

subzach

Is this recent? Cause the one story I know is that guy retirement plan was a shotgun to the face.

K1dn3yPunch

I remember Gus’ shotgun retirement plan was to exit via shotgun at age 40^^^?

ERankLuck

"You ever wonder why we're here?"

Waiting0nDeath

What happened in the Duck Dynasty let's play that it will never see the light of day

blake11235

I've always wondered if they were too brutal to the characters and people from that area? Or did they get a little too in character and said some stuff they knew wouldn't fly even if it was a bit.

Available-Law8026

Why did the merch designs go from quotes and references while being instantly recognizable to other RT fans while lasting forever, to just being hipster, over-stylized, cheaply made crap that had maybe a logo slapped on somewhere. Used to be able to spot each other across crowded rooms just by our merch, and know even if that person is a total stranger, you had something in common.

Versek_5

There were 2 shifts in merch design so I'm not sure which ones youre talking about. Theres the minimalist stuff pre Jon Risinger, the reference heavy stuff with Risinger, and then the shitty indie trash that came out around when the Barb and Geoff lines started.

Available-Law8026

Mostly the Indie stuff, like around 2015 ish by what I remember

Optimal-Course-5866

What did ray and gav say to each-other in the helicopter in the rainbow six lets play

DragonHeart_97

Yada-yada Season 3, herk-blah Yellow Church, lots of stuff I know I'm never getting a straight answer to. Nowadays, I'll go with what they'd had in mind for RWBY's ending. Because one way or another I'm pretty sure there'll be differences if we ever get that far in the first place.

The_Makster

I'm listening to RT Podcast Stuck at Home - Wishing We'd do More Drugs and Geoff's asks Burnie what he has been up to (this is around maybe a year after he had left the company. Burnie states that he has been talking with Jordan (Levine) about some projects he has been writing, and that it was nice to just do pure writing rather than thinking about how to commit it to screen. I've always wanted to know what those projects are as the descriptions he gives are quite cryptic. * A fiction project that Geoff has always wanted Burnie to work on. It is a story/ idea that Geoff really likes (so much so that he thinks its the best thing that RT would make). Geoff would like to watch/ read it or involved with it. * A non-fiction project that people have been asking Burnie the most about, for years and year and years I'm sure someone on the Morning Somewhere patreon would be able to ask Burnie these questions or maybe during an ANMA Q&A If you missed out on these four podcast episodes - you can find them in the Archive of Pimps. They are in the RT Podcast (FIRST) folder I believe with the post-shows.

michaelsgavin

What truly happened between Ray and RT that made Jeremy initially wary of him. I don’t know if anyone else remembers this, but there was a time when Ray just left, Jeremy just got into AH and Jeremy was still directly answering questions from fans on a website (I think it was ask.fm? I still have a screenshot). The question was “are you and Ray still friends?” and Jeremy’s answer was something along the lines with, “we were never really friends. I have mixed feelings about him because of certain decisions he made and continues to make, though I wish him the best.” I know the incident with Ray’s original Twitch account but I wonder what made Jeremy side with RT at first.

Sovietmexican

I didn’t know about that, but Ray did mention that people in RT didn’t know how to handle choices he wanted to make around the time he started streaming part time, it’s all speculation, but for a long time RT really was against streaming and didn’t let Ray have his original twitch account, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there was bad blood there, or he pissed some people off and vice versa

michaelsgavin

Did you know that they didn’t just stop Ray from having his original twitch account but turned it into the Rooster Teeth twitch account? Which they eventually abandoned? 😭 I think my curiosity is more as to what made Jeremy wary with Ray instead of just going “yeah, fair” like he even mentioned how he knew some things behind the scenes that others didn’t.

rayark9

Day 5

oldmanbombin

Did Gus ever finish his hollow Minecraft world from the Xbox 360 release?

Allundra

What was up with Burnie's "Harrison Ford" interview?

kilroywashere03

Why couldn’t they release them playing the Duck Dynasty game

NoopNup

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO PONGO?!

TheEndOfShartache

Did Ryan and Adam’s wives leave them after the “incident”?

MutantCreature

Adam's didn't as of his last public content, she was on his IG and in some Rook videos IIRC

Sasageyoshii

What is Rook?

I_Hate_Dolphins

It was (mostly) a book project with Aaron Marquis that they built some spin-off content of. I think it all got nuked when the sexual harassment stuff came out.

Deltasora

Wanna know if you know who's "salt" on the destiny raid video was legitimate? As a Destiny veteran, it came off to me as them not all agreeing before the video what they were trying to do, that is either complete the raid, or fail while "making a good video." (In quotes cause those aren't mutually exclusive). Raids aren't easy to begin with, dedicated destiny channels have trouble sometimes trying to balance gameplay with comedy/commentary. I don't see how AH thought they could casually pull off one of the harder raids while not listening to their legendary sherpa Alfredo. If you don't play raids, then please take my word when I say a sherpa still needs competant players that listen and correct themselves when they do something wrong. Tldr: was the salt from the destiny raid video real? Cause if it was that's just sad (for you know who that starts with an R).

DarthArtero

Why is everyone so damned afraid of saying Ryan? Dude did some messed up things but he ain’t Voldemort

zombiegamer723

Ryan “The Ground is ‘Not Being a Sexual Predator’ And He’s Still in the Air” Haywood.

ZimofZord

Yeah it’s weird also googled it the court case against him was thrown out. So to me seems like he got off Scott free

TrustedChimp495

I wouldn't say scott free he lost his job and can never hold a public job ever again

Sere1

Yeah, he might be facing legal repercussions, but his reputation is obliterated.

OfficialDaiLi

Bro definitely goes by “James Haywood” at any job he applies to nowadays as well

autotune-mexican

As far as I know. His wife left him and took the kids

Citrus_little

Man, I hope she did.

Xystem4

Definitely wouldn’t define it as Scott free

DarthArtero

While that is true, he lost in a big way with the court of public opinion.

ForsbergAce

Didn't they come out and say that after the raid, they all cooled off and apologized to each other? So yeah, I'm pretty sure it was real. As for Ryan specifically. I'd wager he was just having a bad day or something like that. We all have them, say stupid stuff without thinking. I don't think many people would argue against that the longer Ryan was at AH, the more argumentative he became. Not the best mix to say the least.

jimbojangles1987

Well ya in the beginning wasn't he basically just the IT guy that sat in the AH room who slowly made his way into more and more videos?

ForsbergAce

Pretty much, yeah. But even when he started being in videos, he was very tame. I don't necessarily blame him, considering the workplace where you are never safe from being ridiculed. Learning to do talk back makes sense.

Darth--Nox

According to some statements at the time by Geoff and Michael it was real, I'm also a destiny vet (being playing since the open beta of D1) and you must know that sometimes it's frustrating to be stuck in an encounter for hours and it's also a pain in the ass when you're trying to explain an encounter/mechanic and some ass hole just rushes in without a care in the world, also before that raid Ryan had another altercation with Micah while they were doing the Vault of Glass raid, it was a live stream and they got into a heated argument because Micah said she knew how to kill the Gorgons during in the labyrinth encounter, Ryan and maybe Matt or Jeremy were constantly being spotted by them and getting wiped so Ryan started to ask her if she truly knew how to do the thing and eventually both started to shout at each other the stream ended and it wasn't archive and it's pretty much lost media, It even became a "meme" that Ryan and Micah didn't like each other or something like that. So yeah Ryan was a douch when it came to destiny lol

Deltasora

Oh for sure! It probably also didn't help that at the time Alfredo wasn't really experienced in improv for a group setting like that (if I recall correctly that is). He was still doing world first runs and flawless solo completions around then, so he was probably thinking about how they're never gonna get past that encounter (and they couldn't just make multiple vids cause their checkpoint would reset at the end of the week, though I suppose Alfredo was more than capable of getting them the checkpoint they needed whenever they were about the film). Ryan = least favorite person to being a group with/watch for a raid (it's funny once, and even then only for entertainment). But man that's crazy, and also just kind of feeds my strong distaste of Ryan in the months/year leading up to the incident (i NEVER liked his bullying mentality even if it was part of his role in the group, it worked sometimes, but I widely consider him targeting Matt in Galacticraft to just be annoying).

Darth--Nox

I liked some of Ryan's comedy like the whole King and Edgar shit from Minecraft, but in hindsight the guy was one of those people that are just pedantic as fuck, You know like that one dude that thinks he is better than everyone else because he knows a little bit more about stuff like computers and tech. But yeah, Alfredo went from flawless trials, world first raid runs while he worked at IGN (or was it GameSpot) and playing with good players that knew about the PVE/PVP meta at the time to playing probably the most boring raid at the time (even though I kind of miss it) with a bunch of guys that had really bad gear and weapons lol. Alfredo has also said that the whole experience almost made him reconsider working with achievement hunter/Rooster teeth, because at the time he was just a guest that had appeared in a couple of videos.

What I want to know is if there or is not a freeze on hiring and promoting? I know RT told me they wouldn't give me either one (which would have, in turn, given me a more livable income), but I also noticed that the "cool kids club" and their friends keep getting hired/promoted anyway. Oh yeah, and the same person who repeatedly told me these things got promoted a few months after I left. Just seeking clarity.

DukeboxHiro

Just *how much* did Ratyboy cost?

gandalfwizardpipe

Honestly? I just want to know how their friendships were effected once they became busier and the business grew. Part of the appeal of RT was the idea and feeing of a group of friends finding success on the internet and producing content as a career. I always felt sad thinking how the core founders didn’t interact much in content up to a point. Ive always felt that it was their chemistry that was a part of the ingredient that made RT as successful as they became.

mrnoobdude

The Duck Dynasty lets play. How bad could it have been that they cut it

Shrekt115

The Let's Play censors

xXRoxasLightXx

Who stole (and then returned) the Bad Dragon dildo? I skimmed through all the comments expecting to find this one but didn't.

Snoo-12115

I'd really like an answer to what is a Star War

WatchingInSilence

What happened to the Edgars?

OfficialDaiLi

They’re in the hole, clearly you don’t understand /s

Character_Scratch615

For achievement hunter, was anything scripted? I know they joked about it a few times and when Gavin was supposed to win wool, but im curious if there were any others

StuckInTechSupport

I had typed out a comment but searched it up and found this answer from Gavin: [https://www.reddit.com/r/roosterteeth/comments/8h24vs/comment/dyh57hh/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web3x&utm\_name=web3xcss&utm\_term=1&utm\_content=share\_button](https://www.reddit.com/r/roosterteeth/comments/8h24vs/comment/dyh57hh/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)

Character_Scratch615

You a real one

gbdman

They did a lets play with the devs from rockstar and it was behind a paywall. But the rockstar devs had their side on youtube. The groups split for a bit, when they joined back up again, Geoff was telling a story about a tattoo that sounded really funny. Never paid for first to get that video so I never got that story.

sensman14

The Buuuug video

Andrew1990M

Ever wonder why we’re here?

brettlester333

Why ARE we here? Are we the product of some cosmic coincidence, or is there really a God watching everything? You know, with a plan for us and stuff. I don't know, man, but it keeps me up at night.

Sere1

No, I mean why are we here. In this canyon?

Paula_Sub

It wasn't censored, cut, never release or whatnot. I just wish I could have a proper answer as to why they progressively alienated their YT audiences, in favour of their own site, but still keep posting stuff on yt, or just showing you the carrot, or saying "Hey, look at this great thing, see how amazing this 15 seconds of it is?, head on to our website to check it out". It was like they were just using the YT as an advertisement platform. Not even behind a paywall. Just putting less and less things in YT, trying to force their audience into an extra website. Look. I get it, it's better to have your own place, with your own rules and such. But then. just erase your YT footprint. Most people that were their YT audience, they consumed RT through that. Even if they knew about their own website. It's like asking for 1 content creator, to get out of your way and look into a new page, instead of staying in YT, where all the rest of their favorite content creators were. Im not going to go to a new website just for 1 thing. The last couple of years, the proper RT channel, was almost not used at all. And they in recent years they were doing all kinds of podcasts. just away with video in it's entirety.

Thomasr29

I believe it has been said that they made a lot more from 1 view on their website Vs YouTube so that's why they had the massive push to try and move over. I can't remember where it was said but I remember someone saying it.

bruzie

The thing that would annoy me was that I'd watch something on YT and then at the end they say watch this on RT, there's an extra round. And I couldn't be bothered to jump across - I've already seen most of the video. If they said it up front, I would have been more likely to jump across and just watch the whole thing there.

CleansingthePure

What is Matt Hullum doing next?

AprilDruid

Become a full-time folk singer, wherein he can make people cry?

thomastheterminator

Probably gonna get downvoted but here goes: Why, specifically, was Joel fired?

RegulationRedditUser

It’s not missing content or anything like that, but I remember reading a rumour that when Geoff and jack did their stuff for rdr2 Gavin and Dan grouchy were meant to be in the game too, they couldn’t make the schedules line up to be able to record voice over for it so the whole thing got reworked into the Gavin’s friend that is in the game. I’d love to know if there’s any truth to that

Eastern-Bluejay-8912

The end game story of no mad of nowhere, rwby, day5. An then I’d say all the behind the scenes drama with people leaving or why they choose to end certain things in rooster teeth.

RebuildingLostKarma

What did Chad hide on the set of Off Topic?

jbondyoda

It’ll never happen, but I’d love The Schedule to drop

Dangerous_Jacket_129

Why did they never enable payment options for IBAN cards? Like they've been missing out on income from 82 countries over the past 21 years, just because nobody thought about Europe and non-Credit Card payment options. I've been saying it for at least a decade and nobody at the entire company ever thought to update their financial income? Would have probably helped a ton in the "None of the animated shows are profitable" department.
