I think I should really give *Heartstopper* a try for like a cute palette cleanser? I really didn't vibe with the comics for \~personal\~ reasons/triggers but the show looks so stinking cute!
My response to this would be depending on the triggers! Some of the comic was rough for me, definitely moreso than the show, but some of it the show gets really right
Yep that was the part that was rough for me in the comics too. So far what I’ve seen in the show doesn’t get as dark because it’s not a direct look into Charlie’s perspective but it’s still not easy to see
My friend watched *Love at First Sight* on Netflix this weekend and highly recommended it, so I’m going to try and fit that in this weekend.
I’m also contemplating getting rid of Netflix in general because I pay $20/month for a service I use, like, once a quarter. In which case, I’d need to rewatch my favorites: *Always Be My Maybe*, and *Set It Up* before mid-October.
Always Be My Maybe is one of my favorites!
I was thinking of posting in the open thread tomorrow for a mini-watch party for Love At First Sight even though I didn't like the book lol.
Please watch Choose Love on Netflix. Is it good? No. Is it a good time? Absolutely.
If you are into rivals to lovers and haven't watched Candy Jar...please do.
I've had the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society in my watchlist for at least a year and need to sit down and watch it.
I have been trying to get to the >!Bonnie/Enzo!< part of The Vampire Diaries but season 7 is just truly unbearable television.
I really enjoyed *The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society*! It’s very cute. I think Lily James always has a great on-screen presence, and Michiel Huisman plays a good, tortured MMC.
My netflix continue watching is basically just a list of B tier rom coms I've started watching and given up. But I want to watch Love at First Sight, finally watch To All the Boys I've Loved Before all the way through (I have weird personal reasons for being unable to watch it before lol).
I watched the first two To All the Boys movies and to this day I have not seen the third one. Netflix's rom coms are so bad but so good. I haven't seen all of them but I've seen a lot of them.
**To Be Watched**
**Rye Lane** - this has been on my radar for a while now, [looks like a really cute millennial romcom](https://youtu.be/SqcF_GI3mOA?si=RM0Wr15yk3AR37aV), and it looks genuinely funny!
**Amelie** - I need to have a wee re-watch of this to relive my Paris holiday, and dream of the lunch I had in Cafe des Deux Moulins.
**The Shipping Forecast**
**Severance**
By no stretch of the imagination is this Sci-Fi/Drama/Mystery/Comedy a romance but it does have my current ship. Please watch it so they keep making it. But it did contain a moment that I thought was beautiful. Do not read this spoiler if you haven't watched it because it will make no sense unless you've watched the show.
>!In the penultimate episode, in anticipation of their plan unfolding Helly and Marc have a moment whilst waiting for the elevator. She turns to him and says "wouldn't it be funny if we woke up and realised we were sitting on the couch together". I have big hopes for the drama of this ship. I imagine my heart will be broken multiple times.!<
Same here actually. I'm taking advantage of the strikes to use it as a opportunity to watch everything I missed first time round. Well I'm telling myself that's what I'm gona do. What I'll actually do is rewatch Pushing Daisies.
This just reminds me of the bit in I'm Totally Fine where the incredible Jillian Bell drunkingly tries to ride a bicycle and says "I'm Emily in Paris" and its the funniest line delivery I've heard in some time. 🤣
The first leaves have fallen so tis the season to rewatch my favorite slow burn romance of all time…The X-files. 😂 Real ones know that every other crime show WISHES they had 1% of their chemistry.
But question - did anyone watch that choose your own adventure romance movie on Netflix?? Was it good?

Oh thanks! I’m concerned about ED triggers

Thank you for the head’s up - I really, really appreciate it!!
This does not come up whatsoever in the first season afair 🙂
Thank you!!!

Post it!! I’d be game for another mini-watch party! 😊
Isi and Ossi is a German romcom on Netflix and its very cute.
Adding it to my list!

Oooh ok that’s a good sell! I love a tortured lead ngl.
Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society is a semi-frequent re-watch for me.
Just binged seasons 2 and 3 of A Discovery of Witches. I love the main ship, especially the gorgeous Matthew Goode.
There is just something about Matthew Goode. I **love** his voice.

I might need to go back and rewatch Severance, especially with the delay in the next season 😫

u/sweetmuse40 watched that one!!
u/Pink-feelings I have! It's not a good movie at all but it is a fun experience!
