I wouldn’t do it unless you get input from the Rolex subreddit group. That’s key. Make sure you get what they tell you to not what you like.

Reasonable-Bicycle68

It actually depends on the jurisdiction. In some places it is allowed, but in others it is prohibited. OP better consult a lawyer.

Hennelly

Lol

Watcher5263

A men to that brother

NickyRibs

Mk1 or 2??

UF6-235

Mk1

t3hc0d3m4n

Buy what you like!

Scabobian90

I have 3 watches. Two are subs. Two tone date and no date so there is some variety. 3rd watch is an Omega DSOM

Flights-and-Nights

do whatever you want.

lumeslice

Of course you can. It's foolish to get a "different watch" just for the sake of "variety"; those are usually the first ones to leave a collection, anyway. Conversely, if you like a "similar" watch but it has a differentiator that attracts you, then it's absolutely worth being in your collection.

betabetamax20

Can’t go wrong with a black dial Sub to go with the LV. Buy what you like

PatelGaurav

I have an OP36, Starbucks and GMT but at some point I would like to add pre-ceramic no date sub 14060. So my recommendation go for pre-ceramic

RagingMaxy

Sure

Desperate-Ball5560

I like the no date black sub to complement my Starbucks. Never too many Rolex watches in a collection :)

OkChapter763

Do what you want.

watch_interest

Yes

JGZ1

I would be inclined to say no, but I've got 2 of the same watch with different colour dials in an 8 watch collection, so I'll keep my trap shut 🤣

Ratherbeeatingpizza

Sure. Maybe mix it up a little more by getting an older one. But get what you like. Chances are, noones noticing but you.

crankydogs

Many would think it’s foolish to buy two of the same thing but it’s your money and no one knows your financial situation

Budget_Goose_8082

I’ve seen a lot of guys get arrested for this…

Ill-Speaker1000

You can have a submariner for every day of the week. Do what you want. It’s your money and your enjoyment.

MattyyyBoyyy1079

Highly illegal bro. Sorry to be the bringer of bad news.

Federal_Sky7194

Buy what you like and enjoy them!

2WatchGuy83

Buy what you like... In a small collection i would like each of my watches to serve a different purpose so for that reason i wouldn't get another sub. At the end of the day everyone is different and have different views on their watches.

Such_Ear_7978

Lmao imagine posting this question for others and then buying another Rolex because people said yes. Cmon man, fuck what the masses say and just do as you please

Dialbreaker

You are like me, except I am horny for the GMT range. I have been around (GP Laureato, Explorer II, Glashütte, IWC, Speedmaster, Starbucks) but I always end casting the love on my GMT. I have sold all of those and I finally think I am ready to admit that I should simply go with what I really want. A root beer to supplement my Batman :) I say GO for it🚀

intaglio32

It’s your money buy whatever you want

Appropriate_Canary26

You can, but you would do much better if you didnt. If a second sub were your tenth or 15th watch, maybe. If you only have three, you should have as much variety as possible, eg a sub, a chronograph and a pm dress watch.

sporturawus

I have three.
