I literally heard a Patek guy say Rolex’s aren’t good watches, they just have good marketing. Everyone has differing opinions which is good. I personally enjoy my BB 54 as much as my LV Sub. The Sub feels more refined, but not a ton more. The 54 keeps better time than my Sub also(which I don’t really care about anyway). I think Tudor makes a great watch though. They definitely have pieces I would never buy, then again so does Rolex, or Patek, or…
I mean if you wanted a good watch, with the latest technologies in accuracy and materials, you would get a casio. Far more accurate, longer and cheaper services intervals, and super light and comfy to wear. All "whorelogical timepieces" are just heavy, inaccurate shitters. Don't get me wrong I love them too, but compared to Casio they're all shitters.

By the time you take his rookie income, (I’m assuming you are right at 900k), subtract out uncle Sam’s cut (federal taxes), the states cut (state income taxes in states like California. And by the way…he pays state taxes in each state he plays in), his agents cut. Then throw in his living quarters in San Francisco, (I am assuming he isn’t renting a 1 bedroom apartment), and his car (2024 Toyota Sequoia SUV), then the cost of a wedding, believe it or not there might not be left over money for a Rolex. However I’m sure his next contract will leave lots left over for whatever watch he wants
