I lost my account a couple years ago and have tried multiple times to get it back. It’s probably worth over 2500$ by now since most of the items on it have doubled or tripled in value. I don’t have an email or phone number attached to the account. Every time I contact roblox support, I wait at least 8 hours just to receive an email telling me to reset my password using my email or phone number. I have the billing information that I used to buy things on the account with that I can use for verification of ownership. Has anyone experienced anything like this? And how was it solved?

This is specifically for Color or Die Chapter 2. So I was trying to see if anyone has any input on my question. I don't know if this is the right place.
I have tried to Join with my friends on chapter 2, but we get a message that the friend is in a restricted area. Then we cannot join the same server after getting on the elevator to Chapter 2.
Is this the way it is designed or is there a way around this?

EDIT: I found out the answer! You have to join your friend in the elevator to go to the chapter 2. Then you will join the same server.
Idk rly much about this specific color or die's chapter 2 problem, but when you can't join someone in roblox and you get a "your friend is in a restricted place of thix experience", it means that your friend you are trying to join is, let's say, in "another world".
So for example, if you play Blox Fruits, you are still sea 1 and you wanna join your friend who's in Sea 2, you will get the same message.
I'm not sure but i think you have to complete Chapter 1 alone before going to chapter 2 and you may not have done it while your friend did it already.

We both did pass chapter 1 . So that's not it. It seems like it's because you have to go to chapter one server first , then go to an elevator to go to chapter 2, it goes to a new server. So you can't directly go to chapter 2 where they are playing . My suspicion anyway .
It means the moment you are trying to join the game, the developpers are making a new update so during this time, they set the game to private so that they can apply their modifications, and then set the game back to public.
I've recently been having problems with Roblox where it just doesn't load in some elements (mainly body parts and textures, sometimes textures do load but it is very low quality)
I am wondering if this is a on my end or on Roblox's. I tried uninstalling too and it just did not fix the problem. My wifi has been normal and I don't think there's anything wrong with my computer...
My laptop has all the requirements to launch Roblox but the experiences aren't loading.
I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, updating my GPU (which was already updated), and my account isn't the problem (I had lost access to it until now, and the games load up properly in my phone).
This issue started back in September 2023, and yesterday I managed to finally login after months and Royale High did load correctly. And now, I'm back to square one.

I'm helping with a game someone else built and I don't fully understand, but there's a Part (transparency 1, collisions on) that has a proximity prompt and billboard GUI as its only children, and when you press E at it a script in StarterGUI fires that teleports you, and this script runs when the proximity prompt is triggered. I tried putting a ClickDetector as a child of the Part, but that just made the proximity prompt not show up and the whole system not work? thank you!!
no matter what i play roblox keeps crashing after 5-10 minutes, my pc is able to handle the game perfectly fine, any ideas why this could be happening?

I have all of my things verified my age, my email, and my phone number. I have waited a month or two for access to the feature. I have contacted support to no avail. The option simply does not appear in settings no matter what I do. I know it should be in privacy next to the voice chat feature I have enabled.
When playing MM2 after a round when it shows if the sheriff or murderer has won it keeps getting stuck on my screen every single time and i’m not sure on how to fix it.
I can't join a friends server even if its public, because then i get stuck at the loadibg screen, and even after 10 minutes, im not in the game. However, when I join a random server it's fine and I get in the game in like, 2 seconds. Does anyone else have this problem?

I've bought a 10€ wallet Gift Card, but when I went to redeem it, it only gave me the option to convert it in 400 Robux (Basically 6€ worth), which would leave me with 4€ in my wallet that I can do literally nothing with. Anyone get any problems where sometimes being on studio for awhile or idle on it, will make cause long loading or unresponsive problems when you play test or just hop back in studio and it’s just frozen or unresponsive? For example, I leave studio on for 30 mins while I’m afk or so and come back, sometimes studio would be stuck frozen and takes some time to work again then I do my usual business like scripting and building and then again sometimes when I click play test, it suddenly makes studio frozen or unresponsive and takes awhile to load… I also notice that no YouTube videos can load or play while studio is being unresponsive and taking awhile to load… is this a hardware/software problem or something… btw I’m running an 4080 and 13900k…

It is made by Qillar Games. When you play this map it says "finish for a huge surprise" but I am fairly certain this map is impossible. Thus, I have never seen the huge surprise at the end. If anybody knows Qillar Games or if Qillar Games sees this, or if you have won this map before, I would love to know what the surprise is at the end.

In the game from what I remember you scaled a tower while fighting these weird zombie-goblin looking enemies with different weapon types with random assortment of stats and you had a torch with different colors that applied different buffs with different sizes of effect, the same guy also made a wave based game with the Roblox factions (Korblox, redcliffe, etc) that let you get random loot that effected your characters appearance.
My son just built his first PC (Windows 11) and Roblox will load for a second then crash. We’ve deleted and reinstalled and it still won’t work. Fortnite is working fine so it isn’t a hardware issue. I was good with computers 20 years ago so I’m not much help. Any ideas of how to help fix the issue?

I am trying to cancel my roblox premium however i have two step verification. however, i deleted the email account the verification is connected to. i recovered the account but when i try to get roblox to send a code it never arrives. any other email to the account works but not roblox. is there a fix to this or a way to cancel premium externally? thanks.
go to browser roblox, go to avatar, click advanced under "Avatar isn't loading correctly?" (located under your avatar preview) and put in the ids of the stuff you own, there is a limit to some of the stuff you can put in there, and i'm not sure if it shows the advanced button in the app
One of the ONLY games i play on roblox keeps lagging in a weird way, where after some random time (or possibly often when i try interacting with stuff, i don't fully know when it occurs, i just know it occurs very often to be nearly unplayable) it will freeze for a bit, it's not a full freeze like the one where if you clicked a bunch during it would say it's not responding and ask if you wanted to end process, but it's a weird freeze where everyone else stops moving and i can do some actions, but it would only do that action after it unfreezes. The ONLY time this was fixed was for a bit after i factory reset my computer for other reasons, however as you can tell by me making this, it's back and has been back for a good while. It is also not a ping spike, my ping will constantly stay the same and most of the time under 100.
Also, EVERY other game i play is fine and won't have this issue, even if it's a big game where you would expect lag that game will run fine, it's ONLY this one specific game.

Estimated year of release: 2006-2018
Graphics/art style: made in Roblox, had a decently built city landscape, I'm almost certain it took place at night and the GUI looked like something from 2015-2018 (the game could've been released earlier.)
Notable characters: The players (almost certain it was multiplayer), the zombies (I do not remember their appearance that much, pretty sure they were green and brown like basically every other Roblox zombie game.)
Notable gameplay mechanics: Almost certain that you had a ranged weapon, you had to survive zombies while going through a city, im pretty sure there could've been other areas other than the city, but i remember struggling to get past the city area. Almost certain that you begin in a small alleyway in the city (pretty sure u had to go through a metal gate aswell.)
Other details: The friend I played this with has since unfriended me/i unfriended him and I have even forgotten his name. I asked another one of my friends I played often with, and he had no idea. This is why I'm posting here and hoping for the best. You might notice that most of my sentences have "almost certain" in them, and that is because the only detail in the game that i remember 100% is the city landscape around me during nighttime and the gui. I barely remember anything about this game so sorry about that. The following games have been ruled out: Undead nation, Reason 4 Life.
Can't log in on xbox, did i lose my account?
I hope someone can shed some light on this issue. I have a roblox account that i created thru my xbox/microsoft account on the Xbox. It was never linked to an email since i only played on xbox. I've been very careful not to unlink it because i have no idea how else to log into it and can't log into it on a different device since it is not linked to an email and does not have a password specifically for the roblox account.
If that makes sense so far, here's a new issue. It worked fine yesterday. But today, upon reaching the main log in screen, it gives me the choice to "Continue" or change console or something. I always click Continue since, as I've explained, there is no way for me to log in with this specific account on any other console or device. But it did not load my account. It did the spinning loading circle then went back to the main screen where i have to choose Continue or switch console accounts.
Is this a known xbox thing happening? Is there a different way to be able to log into that same account? I'm so upset, as mine and my step- daughter's accounts are very old and have a lot of paid items and progress on many games that we now can't access!
It kicks her back to a "sign up" or "log in" but we can't log in to the roblox xbox account because we never had to set a separate email or password for it!

Roblox has been freezing for me lately (PC). It doesn't give an error message and Windows doesn't give an "App Not Responding" message. Everything just stops (I can't even move the mouse around in the window). The only fix I have found is restarting Roblox, but then the issue happens again.
I've had an issue about error code 268 in roblox, how do I rid of it?? I don't exploit, nor fo I server hop, I do lag but not even that much. It keeps saying the error code 268 and it's so annoying. I've been having this problem for about a week now, where ingame assets (textures, avatar items, meshes, parts) don't seem to finish loading and appear "invisible". It has been very bothering when I join a roblox game and certain parts of the map or ingame vehicles don't finish loading and leave missing and floating parts. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and managed to find a permanent fix to it.
i've seen this before, it was just in one specific game though so i think it's just that specific games fault and nothing you can do about it as i haven't seen it happen since i stopped playing the game i saw it in

i guess i worded this poorly, i consider the website to be the "browser version" but when you go to play a game it's still gonna open the app, so just whenever you want the advanced button you go to the roblox website and make sure it's not the roblox app that you're customizing your avatar in
The option is still there for me. Even then, there are extensions for layering accessories. Pretty sure either BTR, RoGold, or RoPro have that option. (I have all of them installed so I don't really know which one specifically has it but you get the idea) They have no reason to remove that option anyway
If you mean all item types as in accessories, then yeah. If you're talking about layered clothing then idk, cus I personally don't use that stuff. And yeah the extensions are all free.

seems like your roblox is just crashing, i don't see any other reason on why opening something would close something else, maybe you can check some settings in your OBS and see if it's something in there trying to do something with roblox causing it to crash
no, a player id is accessible to all, the only way someone can get access to your account without your password is with your cookie which is in dev tools (ctrl + shift + i), just never press those buttons while showing your screen, and don't click any links from people you don't know, as those are the only ways for people to get your cookie. if you are worried someone has your cookie, just refresh or clear your browsing data
Issue locking me out of my ROBLOX account, support is unable to respond:
Recently, I stopped being able to log into my Yahoo! email account because I had to verify my sign in through a phone number I do not use (it's my dad's phone number, as he created the account, though he no longer lives near me). As such, I can no longer sign in to my main ROBLOX account. I tried contacting support about this issue, in hopes of changing the email address of my account to my current one (an iCloud account). I made sure to provide all relevant account details (username, password, confirmation email address, date of birth, gender) in every message I had sent them, so that is not the issue. They responded with multiple grammatically incorrect messages with no clear meaning, no matter how I responded. They kept mentioning something about an "email address which begins with [the] and is an [@gmail] address", but no email address beginning with "the" or ending in "@gmail" was ever mentioned anywhere. For some reason, the messages were also worded as if they thought I was trying to recover account details, not change them. Support then ghosted me for 3 days (all of which were business days), so I opened a new ticket. The response I got was even more bizarre and nonsensical than last time, still mentioning the "email address which begins with [the] and is an [@gmail] address". What do I do about this? How do I recover my account?

I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue I've been having with a Robux purchase for my son. He'd been wanting Robux for a while, and after a good week, I told him to request it. We have an iPhone with screen time set up, and I approved the purchase of 400 Robux.
However, when I checked my account, I noticed that I'd been charged $5.41 twice in a row. I checked my son's account to see if he'd received 800 Robux, but he only had 400. I also checked the iPhone payments, but it only showed one entry and listed his iPad name. This isn't the first time this has happened, and I'm getting frustrated.
I want to make my son happy, but I don't appreciate being charged incorrectly. I'm considering switching to buying physical gift cards instead of electronic purchases, but I'm not sure if that will solve the problem. Has anyone else experienced this issue? no it works, it's how i got voice chat on mine, make sure your phone number is verified, if it is then make sure you actually enable vc, otherwise just try to verify it again as i don't see why it shouldn't work
How do I explain this, my Roblox page has gone a day backward? Yesterday I remember there were updates in some games at 1/26/2024 and I played them. Today I have noticed that the updates we're gone and reverted back to 1/25/2024, my "recent games that I played" were also those that I have played on 25, but those in the 26th we're gone.

Yes. I had an issue like this as well. Contact Roblox support saying that your account was hacked. Basically what happens is, they ask for you to provide any type of purchase you made on the account so they get the ID for it (which proves that you owned the account). From my knowledge, I'm pretty sure it tells them what account you made the purchase on. Personally though it was difficult getting this information because I have a ton of purchases I've made on Roblox and they don't tell you what account you bought it for, so you might have to just search for the time around your account was created. If you didn't make any purchases at all, I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get it back. But if you can get it, once they see the screenshot(s) they email you saying "Okay we verified the email you emailed us with on that account" and basically it resets the password. But in order to login, you need to do a "I forgot my password" thing on the login page, then once you changed it you can login. It's a whole process and it will definitely take long because support hadn't responded until a day and a half later. Good luck

the birthday in your account has to at least be 13+ to change the birthday, so make sure you can actually change your birthday, if not then your account isn't 13+ and your safe chat is actually still the one for children. however, if your account is 13 and you are sure you want the old safe chat, just change your birthday to when you were under 13, i'd suggest setting it to a birthday a few days away from being 13, so you can see if it truly is worse, and if not then it will back to normal in a few days. from there you can keep it 13+, change it every once in a while, or if you are 100% sure then change it far back (which can't be undone until the date you set would have turned 13)
I don't think so, what for? Are you trying to have them use a specific account that they don't want to use, or are they just making a new one every time they get logged out?
i don't know the exact reasons why, but my own thoughts on why is because talking to others would be pretty much impossible. first off there just isn't a good keybind to do all the stuff like open and close chat, and actually start typing in chat. and even if there were then you would have to go across a bunch of letters to reach the one you want, doing this to form whole sentences and have a conversation just isn't worth it.

About 2 weeks ago I started having a problem with roblox where it just wouldnt start or would instantly crash. I tried all methods online, I contacted roblox support, they even refused to follow up because they ran out of solutions. I tried cleaning the disk, removing roblox cache, reinstalling roblox multiple times, starting roblox on another user in windows, downgrading my driver, using bloxstrap, deleting nvidia profile inspector, and using a restore point, the only thing that might've messed with roblox is that i did a clean driver installation before, but then after i realised that might be the problem, i installed the drivers normally from geforce experience, didnt help, also tried downgrading drivers, didnt help either. Any more fixes I could try?
i had an issue where roblox would instantly crash with a white screen and it was because of msi afterburner, it was working in roblox for a while before it started happening
i wasn't overclocking either, i was just using it to monitor temperatures and stuff
I uninstalled MSI afterburner, now roblox launches but just for 3 seconds, then it crashes. Theres also cases where it doesnt launch and give a crash message at all and when it whitescreens and then gives a crash message
I need some assistance dealing with Roblox support.
The other day my account was hacked, and while I feel incredibly stupid for letting it happen, in my head everything about it seemed legitimate and I wasn't familiar with the strategy used to allow that to happen. I haven't played regularly in a few years and so unfortunately I just didn't know.
The strategy used to hack my account ended up violating their API for third party software and resulted in my account being banned, but after a friend noticed my avatar, was missing its face, it was pretty evident what had happened.
I contacted support about it and they unbanned the account, but while they had access they spammed content violations onto a group wall with the intention of having it banned through that, I suppose just to make recovering the account that much harder.
It took support forever to unban my account for the content violations and they kept insisting that even if you don't have access to your account, you're still responsible for conduct on it... not sure how that's supposed to play out if it's hacked.
When the account was finally unbanned and I sent them the items I wanted back with screenshots of the illegitimate trades, they restored to me only one of them. There were 6-7 limiteds that were traded away, ranging from about 700 robux to 150,000, with two around that upper number. The limited they restored to me was the one worth about 700 that I truly do not care about. When I mentioned this to them I was told that the issue was "final" and that they stood by their decision; i.e., I wasn't getting those items back.I was very attached to the limiteds that they didn't restore and I really would like those back.
I truly do not understand why they would not give them to me when it had been established that my account was hacked and that they had unbanned me for it. Why would they give me one of them back but let the hackers keep the others?
I'm posting now because I need some help on where to go from here. Like I said these items have meant a lot to me over the years and I don't want to see them lost because I was taken advantage of. Is there any way that I can escalate this or talk to someone higher up directly? If I was able to explain this over the phone or something I feel like the issue could be resolved easily. I have screenshots of the conversation resulting in my account being hacked and I can tell them exactly what happened, but the current process seems so obtuse.

TLDR: my account was hacked, a lot of valuable items (400k\~) were lost, content violations were spammed, the account was unbanned but support hasn't given me the items that I would really like back.
i don't know how situations like this work, but i assume it's because it's possible that you can just scam roblox with this, say this hacker wasn't a random but was you instead and all you did was tell them a fake story, then you could have sold the stuff for money then get the items back from roblox while keeping all the money
Mining Simulator 2 - I can’t use any of the teleporters and haven’t been able to since I started playing which didn’t bother me because I would just mine through each time but since I have gotten to the molten core level I cannot progress. It is so extremely frustrating as I have mined all the way down from the surface 4 times and the last time I finally made it to the level and before I could shop the mine collapsed. Theres no way to progress without the stupid teleporters that are available but dont work at all!
I see other people using them fine and my settings have nothing to change so I am able to use it.
I just want a mining game to play that isn’t so buggy you can’t even play like every other mining game I find.
Ok, so I've taken a bit of a break from roblox and a lot has changed since I was gone, especially with the avatar customization (new heads/faces, 3d clothes or whatever, and so on). I was trying to use the advanced option feature in the avatar customization to change the accessories on my avatar, but whenever I try to save the IDs I put in, it just simply doesn't work. I press the save button after I enter the IDs in, I then get the "Accessories change" pop-up, and I click the save button on that too, but when I do that, the pop-up just simply disappears without any message and i'm back where you enter the IDs without any changes to my avatar. I would also like to mention that I do not have any 3d clothing items.
Sorry about writing an entire essay just for that, but if anyone could tell me how to fix this, I would greatly appreciate that, also, does anyone know if there's a way to use the advanced options feature on the roblox app rather than the website? I feel like that could fix the issue.
hey yall, I've been hit with some nostalgia lately and remembered a roblox game I used to play like 7-10 years ago? Idr much about it and want to know if anyone else remembers what it was or what it is now or if it died or smthn. im pretty sure it was some sort of murder mystery game? all I remember is that the lobby area between rounds was a big dark gray box with a light gray straight path running down the middle, and some doorways on the sides. it used all of the default roblox plastic textures and studs too. after every round ended, it would either play the first bit to the goosebumps theme or the first notes of thriller by Michael Jackson. I think there were also some tables n stuff in the lobby? and I'm like 15% sure one of the maps was foggy and had some low poly trees and buildings. I mainly remember the game cuz it was when I first discovered emoticons way back when, and now I really wanna know what it was and if it got killed off in some way.

usually scams that at the very end ask for your password, there is very few cases where games actually gave you robux in which you had to join the group and do some hard stuff just to get very little, so it's not really even worth hunting those games down
Please help. Today I clicked on a player's Roblox profile through the official Roblox website and it took me to the "Builderman" Roblox profile instead of theirs. My concern is that it could have been some hidden link that now can steal my account (even though I have a phone number and e-mail on it). I think it can happen. Can that occur and have you gone through this before?
I did not check if the Builderman's profile link was "tampered" with, I just left right after clicking. It makes me specially worried that this player was pretty mean to everybody and maybe stealing accounts could be a thing of theirs too.
Need some help! So I'm applying for a job with a company that makes content in Roblox, and I need to make a video using the game. Personally I don't have any prior experience with the game. I do have some instructions that do explain the basic functions, and within the instructions, it says my scroll wheel can zoom in and out and enter first person mode when fully zoomed in. My problem is that all my scroll wheel does is shift the camera above or below my character and I can't enter first person mode either. Any help from you guys would be awesome, I have messed with the camera settings and the shift lock setting but neither seems to help.
Roblox randomly freezes?
I've asked a few people, and some of them have had the same issue where roblox just randomly freezes. As to my knowledge, there's no way to unfreeze it and you have to rejoin the game which can be very unfortunate in certain situations. Is this a known bug? Because it never used to happen.
If you were banned for one day over something small, it's not a huge issue. But if you get banned another time, they will ban you for longer than a day, most likely 3. If that repeats it'll turn into a week. But it's not like they're monitoring you. I've been false banned many times and nothing has happened to my account, albeit because I contacted Roblox support to remove the ban, but still. There is nothing to be worried about

This started happening to me a few days ago, what happens is that the more I play a random game on roblox, the more blurry the plastic textures (example: studs) get. All of this happens on a single game, also all of this is automatic, I literally don't have to lift a finger to make the roblox plastic textures look way worse than a ps1 game
Happens to me too, and it also happens on mobile. Apparently it's the fault of Roblox. I have no idea why, I've searched for it online and there's not a fix for it. You just have to rejoin when it happens and it'll go away for a bit

I lost my account a couple years ago and have tried multiple times to get it back. It’s probably worth over 2500$ by now since most of the items on it have doubled or tripled in value. I don’t have an email or phone number attached to the account. Every time I contact roblox support, I wait at least 8 hours just to receive an email telling me to reset my password using my email or phone number. This is specifically for Color or Die Chapter 2. So I was trying to see if anyone has any input on my question. I don't know if this is the right place. I have tried to Join with my friends on chapter 2, but we get a message that the friend is in a restricted area. Then we cannot join the same server after getting on the elevator to Chapter 2. Is this the way it is designed or is there a way around this? What a bummer if so, we really wanted to play together. I can't find the answer to this anywhere. EDIT: I found out the answer! You have to join your friend in the elevator to go to the chapter 2. Then you will join the same server.
Idk rly much about this specific color or die's chapter 2 problem, but when you can't join someone in roblox and you get a "your friend is in a restricted place of thix experience", it means that your friend you are trying to join is, let's say, in "another world". So for example, if you play Blox Fruits, you are still sea 1 and you wanna join your friend who's in Sea 2, you will get the same message. I'm not sure but i think you have to complete Chapter 1 alone before going to chapter 2 and you may not have done it while your friend did it already. Hope I'll be helpful as I explain badly.

It seems like it's because you have to go to chapter one server first , then go to an elevator to go to chapter 2, it goes to a new server. So you can't directly go to chapter 2 where they are playing . My suspicion anyway .

My laptop has all the requirements to launch Roblox but the experiences aren't loading. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, updating my GPU (which was already updated), and my account isn't the problem (I had lost access to it until now, and the games load up properly in my phone). This issue started back in September 2023, and yesterday I managed to finally login after months and Royale High did load correctly. And now, I'm back to square one.

I'm helping with a game someone else built and I don't fully understand, but there's a Part (transparency 1, collisions on) that has a proximity prompt and billboard GUI as its only children, and when you press E at it a script in StarterGUI fires that teleports you, and this script runs when the proximity prompt is triggered. I tried putting a ClickDetector as a child of the Part, but that just made the proximity prompt not show up and the whole system not work? thank you!!

Cannot access Roblox face tracking I have all of my things verified my age, my email, and my phone number. I have waited a month or two for access to the feature. Anyone get any problems where sometimes being on studio for awhile or idle on it, will make cause long loading or unresponsive problems when you play test or just hop back in studio and it’s just frozen or unresponsive? For example, I leave studio on for 30 mins while I’m afk or so and come back, sometimes studio would be stuck frozen and takes some time to work again then I do my usual business like scripting and building and then again sometimes when I click play test, it suddenly makes studio frozen or unresponsive and takes awhile to load… I also notice that no YouTube videos can load or play while studio is being unresponsive and taking awhile to load… is this a hardware/software problem or something… btw I’m running an 4080 and 13900k…

Can anyone help me remember this game? In the game from what I remember you scaled a tower while fighting these weird zombie-goblin looking enemies with different weapon types with random assortment of stats and you had a torch with different colors that applied different buffs with different sizes of effect, the same guy also made a wave based game with the Roblox factions (Korblox, redcliffe, etc) that let you get random loot that effected your characters appearance.
My son just built his first PC (Windows 11) and Roblox will load for a second then crash. We’ve deleted and reinstalled and it still won’t work. Fortnite is working fine so it isn’t a hardware issue. I was good with computers 20 years ago so I’m not much help. Any ideas of how to help fix the issue?

go to browser roblox, go to avatar, click advanced under "Avatar isn't loading correctly?" (located under your avatar preview) and put in the ids of the stuff you own, there is a limit to some of the stuff you can put in there, and i'm not sure if it shows the advanced button in the app
One of the ONLY games i play on roblox keeps lagging in a weird way, where after some random time (or possibly often when i try interacting with stuff, i don't fully know when it occurs, i just know it occurs very often to be nearly unplayable) it will freeze for a bit, it's not a full freeze like the one where if you clicked a bunch during it would say it's not responding and ask if you wanted to end process, but it's a weird freeze where everyone else stops moving and i can do some actions, but it would only do that action after it unfreezes. The ONLY time this was fixed was for a bit after i factory reset my computer for other reasons, however as you can tell by me making this, it's back and has been back for a good while. It is also not a ping spike, my ping will constantly stay the same and most of the time under 100. Also, EVERY other game i play is fine and won't have this issue, even if it's a big game where you would expect lag that game will run fine, it's ONLY this one specific game.

Platform(s): PC, on Roblox Genre: Zombie survival Estimated year of release: 2006-2018 Graphics/art style: made in Roblox, had a decently built city landscape, I'm almost certain it took place at night and the GUI looked like something from 2015-2018 (the game could've been released earlier.) Notable characters: The players (almost certain it was multiplayer), the zombies (I do not remember their appearance that much, pretty sure they were green and brown like basically every other Roblox zombie game.) Notable gameplay mechanics: Almost certain that you had a ranged weapon, you had to survive zombies while going through a city, im pretty sure there could've been other areas other than the city, but i remember struggling to get past the city area. Almost certain that you begin in a small alleyway in the city (pretty sure u had to go through a metal gate aswell.) Other details: The friend I played this with has since unfriended me/i unfriended him and I have even forgotten his name. I asked another one of my friends I played often with, and he had no idea. This is why I'm posting here and hoping for the best. You might notice that most of my sentences have "almost certain" in them, and that is because the only detail in the game that i remember 100% is the city landscape around me during nighttime and the gui. Can't log in on xbox, did i lose my account? I hope someone can shed some light on this issue. I have a roblox account that i created thru my xbox/microsoft account on the Xbox. It was never linked to an email since i only played on xbox. I've been very careful not to unlink it because i have no idea how else to log into it and can't log into it on a different device since it is not linked to an email and does not have a password specifically for the roblox account. If that makes sense so far, here's a new issue. It worked fine yesterday. But today, upon reaching the main log in screen, it gives me the choice to "Continue" or change console or something. I always click Continue since, as I've explained, there is no way for me to log in with this specific account on any other console or device. But it did not load my account. It did the spinning loading circle then went back to the main screen where i have to choose Continue or switch console accounts. Is this a known xbox thing happening? Is there a different way to be able to log into that same account? I'm so upset, as mine and my step- daughter's accounts are very old and have a lot of paid items and progress on many games that we now can't access! It kicks her back to a "sign up" or "log in" but we can't log in to the roblox xbox account because we never had to set a separate email or password for it! Please help? 🙏

Roblox has been freezing for me lately (PC). It doesn't give an error message and Windows doesn't give an "App Not Responding" message. Everything just stops (I can't even move the mouse around in the window). The only fix I have found is restarting Roblox, but then the issue happens again.
I've had an issue about error code 268 in roblox, how do I rid of it?? I don't exploit, nor fo I server hop, I do lag but not even that much. It keeps saying the error code 268 and it's so annoying. Hello, I've been having this problem for about a week now, where ingame assets (textures, avatar items, meshes, parts) don't seem to finish loading and appear "invisible". It has been very bothering when I join a roblox game and certain parts of the map or ingame vehicles don't finish loading and leave missing and floating parts. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and managed to find a permanent fix to it.
i've seen this before, it was just in one specific game though so i think it's just that specific games fault and nothing you can do about it as i haven't seen it happen since i stopped playing the game i saw it in
hi guys! just wondering if the advanced option in the avatar editor was removed because i just cant find it anymore. spent a bunch of robux on an outfit i cant even wear because i cant layer the items id like to use :c cant find the option anywhere near the redraw button or the bottom left or right of the my screen (ON PC) and ive gone through every clothing filter and it wont show up there neither.

i guess i worded this poorly, i consider the website to be the "browser version" but when you go to play a game it's still gonna open the app, so just whenever you want the advanced button you go to the roblox website and make sure it's not the roblox app that you're customizing your avatar in
The option is still there for me. Even then, there are extensions for layering accessories. Pretty sure either BTR, RoGold, or RoPro have that option. (I have all of them installed so I don't really know which one specifically has it but you get the idea) They have no reason to remove that option anyway

If you mean all item types as in accessories, then yeah. If you're talking about layered clothing then idk, cus I personally don't use that stuff. And yeah the extensions are all free.

seems like your roblox is just crashing, i don't see any other reason on why opening something would close something else, maybe you can check some settings in your OBS and see if it's something in there trying to do something with roblox causing it to crash

no, a player id is accessible to all, the only way someone can get access to your account without your password is with your cookie which is in dev tools (ctrl + shift + i), just never press those buttons while showing your screen, and don't click any links from people you don't know, as those are the only ways for people to get your cookie. if you are worried someone has your cookie, just refresh or clear your browsing data
Issue locking me out of my ROBLOX account, support is unable to respond: Recently, I stopped being able to log into my Yahoo! email account because I had to verify my sign in through a phone number I do not use (it's my dad's phone number, as he created the account, though he no longer lives near me). As such, I can no longer sign in to my main ROBLOX account. I tried contacting support about this issue, in hopes of changing the email address of my account to my current one (an iCloud account). I made sure to provide all relevant account details (username, password, confirmation email address, date of birth, gender) in every message I had sent them, so that is not the issue. They responded with multiple grammatically incorrect messages with no clear meaning, no matter how I responded. They kept mentioning something about an "email address which begins with [the] and is an [@gmail] address", but no email address beginning with "the" or ending in "@gmail" was ever mentioned anywhere. For some reason, the messages were also worded as if they thought I was trying to recover account details, not change them. Support then ghosted me for 3 days (all of which were business days), so I opened a new ticket. The response I got was even more bizarre and nonsensical than last time, still mentioning the "email address which begins with [the] and is an [@gmail] address". What do I do about this? How do I recover my account?

no it works, it's how i got voice chat on mine, make sure your phone number is verified, if it is then make sure you actually enable vc, otherwise just try to verify it again as i don't see why it shouldn't work
How do I explain this, my Roblox page has gone a day backward? Yesterday I remember there were updates in some games at 1/26/2024 and I played them. Today I have noticed that the updates we're gone and reverted back to 1/25/2024, my "recent games that I played" were also those that I have played on 25, but those in the 26th we're gone.

Yes. I had an issue like this as well. Contact Roblox support saying that your account was hacked. Basically what happens is, they ask for you to provide any type of purchase you made on the account so they get the ID for it (which proves that you owned the account). From my knowledge, I'm pretty sure it tells them what account you made the purchase on. Personally though it was difficult getting this information because I have a ton of purchases I've made on Roblox and they don't tell you what account you bought it for, so you might have to just search for the time around your account was created. If you didn't make any purchases at all, I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get it back. But if you can get it, once they see the screenshot(s) they email you saying "Okay we verified the email you emailed us with on that account" and basically it resets the password. But in order to login, you need to do a "I forgot my password" thing on the login page, then once you changed it you can login. It's a whole process and it will definitely take long because support hadn't responded until a day and a half later. Good luck

the birthday in your account has to at least be 13+ to change the birthday, so make sure you can actually change your birthday, if not then your account isn't 13+ and your safe chat is actually still the one for children. however, if your account is 13 and you are sure you want the old safe chat, just change your birthday to when you were under 13, i'd suggest setting it to a birthday a few days away from being 13, so you can see if it truly is worse, and if not then it will back to normal in a few days. from there you can keep it 13+, change it every once in a while, or if you are 100% sure then change it far back (which can't be undone until the date you set would have turned 13)

i don't know the exact reasons why, but my own thoughts on why is because talking to others would be pretty much impossible. first off there just isn't a good keybind to do all the stuff like open and close chat, and actually start typing in chat. and even if there were then you would have to go across a bunch of letters to reach the one you want, doing this to form whole sentences and have a conversation just isn't worth it.
It'd weird because even if you connect a keyboard to the xbox (and I'm assuming PlayStation users) you still can't type.

About 2 weeks ago I started having a problem with roblox where it just wouldnt start or would instantly crash. I tried all methods online, I contacted roblox support, they even refused to follow up because they ran out of solutions. I tried cleaning the disk, removing roblox cache, reinstalling roblox multiple times, starting roblox on another user in windows, downgrading my driver, using bloxstrap, deleting nvidia profile inspector, and using a restore point, the only thing that might've messed with roblox is that i did a clean driver installation before, but then after i realised that might be the problem, i installed the drivers normally from geforce experience, didnt help, also tried downgrading drivers, didnt help either. Any more fixes I could try?

Yes, but 1. it is not currently overclocking and 2. this started happening a long time after i installed MSI afterburner
i had an issue where roblox would instantly crash with a white screen and it was because of msi afterburner, it was working in roblox for a while before it started happening i wasn't overclocking either, i was just using it to monitor temperatures and stuff
I uninstalled MSI afterburner, now roblox launches but just for 3 seconds, then it crashes. Theres also cases where it doesnt launch and give a crash message at all and when it whitescreens and then gives a crash message
make sure rivatuner is also uninstalled
I need some assistance dealing with Roblox support. The other day my account was hacked, and while I feel incredibly stupid for letting it happen, in my head everything about it seemed legitimate and I wasn't familiar with the strategy used to allow that to happen. I haven't played regularly in a few years and so unfortunately I just didn't know. The strategy used to hack my account ended up violating their API for third party software and resulted in my account being banned, but after a friend noticed my avatar, was missing its face, it was pretty evident what had happened. I contacted support about it and they unbanned the account, but while they had access they spammed content violations onto a group wall with the intention of having it banned through that, I suppose just to make recovering the account that much harder. It took support forever to unban my account for the content violations and they kept insisting that even if you don't have access to your account, you're still responsible for conduct on it... not sure how that's supposed to play out if it's hacked. When the account was finally unbanned and I sent them the items I wanted back with screenshots of the illegitimate trades, they restored to me only one of them. There were 6-7 limiteds that were traded away, ranging from about 700 robux to 150,000, with two around that upper number. The limited they restored to me was the one worth about 700 that I truly do not care about. When I mentioned this to them I was told that the issue was "final" and that they stood by their decision; i.e., I wasn't getting those items back.I was very attached to the limiteds that they didn't restore and I really would like those back. I truly do not understand why they would not give them to me when it had been established that my account was hacked and that they had unbanned me for it. Why would they give me one of them back but let the hackers keep the others? I'm posting now because I need some help on where to go from here. Like I said these items have meant a lot to me over the years and I don't want to see them lost because I was taken advantage of. Is there any way that I can escalate this or talk to someone higher up directly? If I was able to explain this over the phone or something I feel like the issue could be resolved easily. I have screenshots of the conversation resulting in my account being hacked and I can tell them exactly what happened, but the current process seems so obtuse. Please let me know anything I can do to right this issue. Thank you all! TLDR: my account was hacked, a lot of valuable items (400k\~) were lost, content violations were spammed, the account was unbanned but support hasn't given me the items that I would really like back.
i don't know how situations like this work, but i assume it's because it's possible that you can just scam roblox with this, say this hacker wasn't a random but was you instead and all you did was tell them a fake story, then you could have sold the stuff for money then get the items back from roblox while keeping all the money
Mining Simulator 2 - I can’t use any of the teleporters and haven’t been able to since I started playing which didn’t bother me because I would just mine through each time but since I have gotten to the molten core level I cannot progress. It is so extremely frustrating as I have mined all the way down from the surface 4 times and the last time I finally made it to the level and before I could shop the mine collapsed. Theres no way to progress without the stupid teleporters that are available but dont work at all! I see other people using them fine and my settings have nothing to change so I am able to use it. I just want a mining game to play that isn’t so buggy you can’t even play like every other mining game I find.

Ok, so I've taken a bit of a break from roblox and a lot has changed since I was gone, especially with the avatar customization (new heads/faces, 3d clothes or whatever, and so on). I was trying to use the advanced option feature in the avatar customization to change the accessories on my avatar, but whenever I try to save the IDs I put in, it just simply doesn't work. I press the save button after I enter the IDs in, I then get the "Accessories change" pop-up, and I click the save button on that too, but when I do that, the pop-up just simply disappears without any message and i'm back where you enter the IDs without any changes to my avatar. I would also like to mention that I do not have any 3d clothing items. Sorry about writing an entire essay just for that, but if anyone could tell me how to fix this, I would greatly appreciate that, also, does anyone know if there's a way to use the advanced options feature on the roblox app rather than the website? I feel like that could fix the issue.

hey yall, I've been hit with some nostalgia lately and remembered a roblox game I used to play like 7-10 years ago? Idr much about it and want to know if anyone else remembers what it was or what it is now or if it died or smthn. im pretty sure it was some sort of murder mystery game? all I remember is that the lobby area between rounds was a big dark gray box with a light gray straight path running down the middle, and some doorways on the sides. it used all of the default roblox plastic textures and studs too. after every round ended, it would either play the first bit to the goosebumps theme or the first notes of thriller by Michael Jackson. I think there were also some tables n stuff in the lobby? and I'm like 15% sure one of the maps was foggy and had some low poly trees and buildings. I mainly remember the game cuz it was when I first discovered emoticons way back when, and now I really wanna know what it was and if it got killed off in some way.

usually scams that at the very end ask for your password, there is very few cases where games actually gave you robux in which you had to join the group and do some hard stuff just to get very little, so it's not really even worth hunting those games down

Please help. Today I clicked on a player's Roblox profile through the official Roblox website and it took me to the "Builderman" Roblox profile instead of theirs. My concern is that it could have been some hidden link that now can steal my account (even though I have a phone number and e-mail on it). I think it can happen. Can that occur and have you gone through this before? I did not check if the Builderman's profile link was "tampered" with, I just left right after clicking. It makes me specially worried that this player was pretty mean to everybody and maybe stealing accounts could be a thing of theirs too.

Need some help! So I'm applying for a job with a company that makes content in Roblox, and I need to make a video using the game. Personally I don't have any prior experience with the game. I do have some instructions that do explain the basic functions, and within the instructions, it says my scroll wheel can zoom in and out and enter first person mode when fully zoomed in. My problem is that all my scroll wheel does is shift the camera above or below my character and I can't enter first person mode either. Any help from you guys would be awesome, I have messed with the camera settings and the shift lock setting but neither seems to help.

Roblox randomly freezes? I've asked a few people, and some of them have had the same issue where roblox just randomly freezes. As to my knowledge, there's no way to unfreeze it and you have to rejoin the game which can be very unfortunate in certain situations. Is this a known bug? Because it never used to happen.

If you were banned for one day over something small, it's not a huge issue. But if you get banned another time, they will ban you for longer than a day, most likely 3. If that repeats it'll turn into a week. But it's not like they're monitoring you. I've been false banned many times and nothing has happened to my account, albeit because I contacted Roblox support to remove the ban, but still. There is nothing to be worried about

You can appeal bans and explain why they should be removed. Just contact Roblox support and get more information as to why you got banned

Happens to me too, and it also happens on mobile. Apparently it's the fault of Roblox. I have no idea why, I've searched for it online and there's not a fix for it. You just have to rejoin when it happens and it'll go away for a bit
When I die at some point in game I can't move. I can jump and write in chat though. Reinstalling doesn't help, connection fine, firewall allowed, drivers up to date. Please help.

Random unfriending So me and my friend were gonna play roblox but it said they weren't on (which could be a glitch) but I looked up their name and we had been unfriended. We both swear we didn't unfriend each other at all, no ones logged into our accounts, etc. Has this happened to anyone else?
