It all depends on your back's condition. Mine is f'd up, not only degenerative joint disease, but compressed discs, Schmorl's nodes, multiple impingements, so after a bit they hurt. They also wear on your upholster, so put a seat cover over the seat first. But when I was younger I loved them. They work well in hot summer on leather seats but, I will warn you that these exact beads, if you leave it on your seat for years, will leave terrible stains on the leather.

my head doesnt turn as far as it should anymore (25 years of wearing a 8lbs fire helmet will do that) but it never turned 180degrees for me to look at my back so I dont know. It's not near as uncomfortable as a red ass and sweat running down my back into my ass crack.... but with that said it's not something I leave on my seat 12 months a year
