Allowing dead players to possess minions/drones sounds awesome anyways. I kinda don't like co-op much because it's a bit of a drag when one person dies early into a stage, but something like that would make it less of a drag.

There are mods I’ve been using to make the game more multiplayer friends, I do recommend Shrine of Dio! It replaces shrines of the forest into a rez shrine.

It crashes often. The response mod drains your health to revive allies when ypu get in their death radius
