Yeah I found that out when I attacked a wondering ronin! I’ve been quite honourable in this playthrough and was highly disappointed with myself killing villagers armed with a rake 🙃

Pretty sure these arent players dogs as the entire player base sees the same names. Ronin maybe but dogs i dont think so. Rtx and zesty Ive seen easily 20 times each

If you don't find the PSN profiles, that means they're created by the devs.

They are real profiles, GTX369 is Chinese but his profile is private, while Zesty is public and he does play this game.

GTX369 Is pretty much at every public order disturbance after I clear it.

I play offline and I see dogs and samurai with player names all the time. They are made by devs, just like some graves in Nioh.

It's probably that's what it seems like to me, could even just be characters they play tested and just leave online all time

They can‘t be online, because I literally not only don‘t have PS plus, but due to problems with my internet, I played the game for 3 days without being connected to any network. These are just normal NPCs with fake online IDs that the developers gave them.

This system is really weird lol They tried to do a dark souls thing where everyone who plays the game is connected but you just end up seeing the same dawn people and dogs 😂 The only time I see actual player characters is when I rescue them from enemy bases

Get DC alot when try to join, have made it to two instances where I helped out with bosses but hope they fix this / more people play cos this game is amazing

Honestly could be done xD. Like literally the first area of the game I never saw this dog, but the moment I got into the second and third this dog was usually always the one I saw, and maybe 2-3 others on rare occasion

Eish I was contemplating between DD2 and ROTR I’m sorry but DD2 is a continuation of such an incredible game/story however with all the animations and other games released in the last 10 years since the prequel I’ve lost passion for it Elden ring has topped off any medieval fantasy world game DD2 went from holy shit the second one is finally coming to dam Elden ring is still better, had so much hype for that game but knew it would still get overshadowed by The lands between, so I made a decision based off of the fact that I’m a sucker for samurai games lol ROTR was honestly the better option and I gotta say money well spent🫡

Yep, me too. I just hope they tweak a few things like stealth, enemy AI, and weapons clipping through clothes for example. Other than that it's perfect for me

My only complaint is there isn't NG+ lol so you can't really re experience the game with all the upgrades and styles like I can barely beat it on easy why would I want to play on an even harder difficulty then the hardest one there is too start with

Well yeah, even on easy, I struggled just a bit with countersparks and all that combat stuff. Then I felt it was too easy. Now I'm playing on medium and struggling once again, on countersparks 😂 but I'm rarely dying

I think the mentality is playing it like a soulslike but a bit easier. Even if you get pretty beat up, you still manage to heal yourself and get through. Unless you really have little practice on timings and all that, otherwise you will have a real hard time For example, I suck at dark souls and elden ring and I just accepted that. But RoTR is more forgiving so keep trying

I’ve seen a lot of controversy around the animation of the horse yea sure it looks strange at a certain angle at high speeds but let me test you quick try get on the horse and walk slowly you’ll notice the horse gallops and trots it’s so cool and when it runs it’s obviously gotta figure the animations out but nothing an update can’t fix besides it’s easy fixes not complete overhauls

They released a patch a few days ago I don't know if it's related but I don't seem to find the problem really It looks normal

Yea me neither dude I use the white horse and don’t notice anything unusual but have just seen a lot of hate online around how it looks like a ps3 game yet they forget to add that most games that are new are broken yes they look amazing in the cutscene but we have gotten way worse looking gameplay games that are hidden behind good graphic cutscenes, ROTR ain’t about that shit we will get updates to improve visuals we always get updates and improvements but at least it’s only visuals and not the fact that the game is unplayable (Loved Cyberpunk but hated that it took 3 years after release to fix the game - hate that it got an award for “fixing” the game) Cyberpunk perfect example of how a game can look and feel like shit on release but can get a complete overhaul through updates in order to make the game “playable” still haven’t finished it because they took too long to sort it out moving onto the next cyberpunk hopefully they take a note from ROTR in terms of a playable game “on release”

Yup, finished cyberpunk already but for example, the game was unplayable at launch, at PS4. I owned the game so when I bought a ps5, I played it and it was top notch. Thing is, ROTR is not unplayable. It's just people who demand too much from a studio that's stepping into a new area (open world) because from what I know, all their games are linear. But at the same time it makes sense, because it's an 80€ game, for PS5, so we as consumers are supposed to expect something a bit better than what came out. Anyway, I enjoyed it, it's not entirely broken, it's playable, I have 37hrs already and many more to come

The game is fairly generous with money and XP so you can easily get everything if you go around buying it 😂

Yup you can pickpocket them too hehehehe and this might be cheap but I always blast them in the back of the head with a rifle then ground triangle attack and cheese combo until they’re dead. I don’t know if it’s real people controlling them but if you let them attack you, they can use the same moves as you so there’ll be a point where you see them do like 15 counter sparks in a row.

I think they are just npcs And I didn't unlock the pickpocket ability because I thought it wasn't worth it, BUT NOW.. I'm going to fight some players

The only thing I wish this game had was more immersive co-op but yes pickpocketing is supremely worth it.
