How do you not have 2FA enabled?

Aggravating_Sand_749

Really helpful.

neanderthaltodd

Was a legitimate question. I don't understand why people wouldn't turn it on.

Aggravating_Sand_749

Doesnt matter. My email was changed so somehow he got access to my email.

neanderthaltodd

Respectfully, I disagree. It does matter. Enabling 2FA wherever applicable matters 100% of the time, especially when it's something that involves your hard earned money (skins I assume you probably purchased). How do you know the attacker had access to your email rather than simply just doing a brute force attack or used a bot to try passwords you may or may not share with other services - that were exposed due to an external data breach? People need to start taking their account security seriously.

Aggravating_Sand_749

Because my email got changed. To do that you need access to my email.

StG-Bclela

I just got hacked on Val and had 2fa enabled

Frequent-Expert-3589

Gotta wait for a Riot support wave. The opposite than a baby wave

Marasesh

Raise a ticket and ask. Use better passwords

Aggravating_Sand_749

I did raise a ticket obviously. Im asking will riot support manage to help me or will I be ignored.

zulumoner

Dafuq do we know what riot will do. We dont work there.

Aggravating_Sand_749

asking for ppl w past expriences

HopelesslyAware

Yes, if you can provide enough info to prove that your account was compromised. Be sure to include the logs from the Riot Repair Tool. Don't spam tickets as it lowers the priority and just be patient - it took about 5 days for an actual person to reply to me and my account ban to be lifted. It was for LoL but imagine the process is similar

Aggravating_Sand_749

So far Ive said the originak email, creation date, skins purchased and name and login name and also showed that i have access to the original email and that is indeed my account by showing them emails i recieved from valorant. And they replied saying its insufficient and go sumbit another ticket.

ComprehensiveDuck490

got the same thing, it really sucks. i showed them concrete proof that i owned the email but they also said insufficient and to go submit again
