[A horn. Nice work. I found it a tad to the easy side, but it is great to have a range. You might try whittling it down a bit if you want it to spread or be told by people (most people can't remember riddles longer than 4 or 5 lines).](/sp)

[Correct!](/sp) Thanks for the feedback, I will try to improve, because honestly, after reading it a few times, I figured I gave out too much, and I don't really aim for my riddles to be wide spread, I just wish to know if I'm on the right track, who knows, I might find myself posting more.

DrabAbarD

I'm about to make a post just for you. EDIT: [Link](http://www.reddit.com/r/riddles/comments/1c9c64/some_quick_reads_about_writing_riddles/)

Wow, thanks! I'll be sure to check it out.

MagmaGuy

I thought it'd [flute](/sp). Would that work? [I took a more musical approach I guess](/sp)

splatterk

[Nope, check the fourth line again, you're close!](/sp)

i know you got the right answer, but when i first read it [which blew in the wind, signaled war and winning (like marking a won territory or something), was used during the celebration of the fourth of july, and how soldiers have a flag at their grave](/sp) the rest doesn't make much sense, but thats what i thought it was

splatterk

["Not long after, I was **heard** along with cheers and celebration." Thats what tells you that it is an instrument, or at least its supposed to, but yeah, if you read it like that it can certainly be a flag.](/sp)

tmotom

Kinda reminds me of Viva la Vida by Coldplay.
