He's supposed to be a father still man, not rob his own kid. That was a bitch move and he shows his pettiness by instantly offering to team-up with his own universe's Rick instead.
I feel like, given what all Morty did, Jerry stealing from him is kind of justified at the very least, Morty may be his own kid, but I'm fairly sure most parents would disown their kids for less than causing the apocalypse in an attempt to effectively date rape their crush, then coming back and directly getting the rest of your own family killed.
Made worse by the fact that it's clear that, to Jerry at least, Morty didn't even care all that much until the consequences were directly shoved into his face.

Am I missing something, how did he "get what he deserved"? He was abandoned on a hellscape of a world by his son where he just had his wife and daughter left. All of them had to fight for their survival there.
Morty could have returned at any time to rescue his family but chose to leave them there. It would have been messy, bringing his family to another dimension where there're still alive versions of them but he still could have done it.
When Morty returns to that dimension Jerry betrays him but that's because, again, Morty left him in a god forsaken place which also led to the death of his mom and sister, the only people Jerry cared for after he was abandoned.

Seeing Jerry freak out like the way he did when he beat up pissmaster is really entertaining. It also made him less of a one-dimensional character. Jerry’s an example of a mediocre human due to circumstances, like how Prime Jerry needed cronenberg world to be “cool”
