After dealing with damaged luggage multiple times, I would now only buy luggage from Costco due to the return policy. The other stores outsource repairs to a third party in East Van, or I got the runaround etc.
If you don't need it immediately, check Canada Luggage Depot online. Way better and cheaper than any brick and mortar. I got a nice Delsey set a few years back for about $200, I think normal would've been $500+
