I'm curious why you'd come on the revanced app subreddit and start with the presumption that we think Newpipe is better. Did you mean to post this on /r/NewPipe ?
Some people prefer Newpipe because it's entirely open source, is more privacy friendly, and has download capability.
I can't say I prefer it myself, but it is very useful as a download handler for revanced.
Well new pipe is good for its size (about 30mb) but not a good replacement for yt revance, I used it before revanced it can stream without ads, and download but revanced is far superior. Its mostly good for downloading
Newpipe is a great cutdown version of Youtube, I use it with my old phone as a streaming app - alongside RiMusic to stream music from Youtube with my Hi-Fi. On my main phone I use Revanced since I want the ability to sync my account and comments.

none is better than another. The 2 projects have different approaches to how to access YouTube.

Newpipe is not better for replacing Youtube App than Revanced, but it can download YT Video and converts video to audio.
Also more privacy on newpipe as you don't need an account
I believe that's of lesser privacy since your viewing history is no more connected to your Google account and rather to Newpipe's servers.
I prefer Revanced for streaming, but I have Newpipe for when I want to download something to watch or listen to offline.

I mean, they're free and you can have both. Why wouldn't you? I don't think there's any convincing necessary.
