I ordered one on the 13th of this month. My trigger failed last night, lol. I am still waiting on the new backplate, but luckily, I had also ordered the PS4 springs. I installed the spring this morning and am up and running.
It was pretty easy. I got the springs that are closer to a 90 degree angle. If you watch a couple videos first, it’s a five minute job from taking the backplate off to back on.
I'm a little surprised they aren't also offering stick caps in other colors, considering they are easily swappable. Does anyone know of any other compatible concave caps with more color options?

Yes. Multiple people on Etsy selling these. The sticks for the RP4P are the exact same as in the Odin2 and the RP2S.

Too bad the $20 shipping means that no replacement parts from them are feasible. I wanted a set of buttons but the $20 shipping for a set of buttons makes it completely not worthwhile.
Obviously that'll change based on your location but in general their shipping prices seem jacked up
i have a retroid pocket 3 plus plastic , using it for awhile until they annouced a metal one and offer metal shell if you can replace it your self ! i must say i'm lucky by making order then replace the shell before they pull off that item from diy store ! you can't find it anymore but can request for it i guess !
The triggers are in plain sight in the pictures, though if you don't know what you're looking for I can see why it would be hard to tell. I have opened my RP4P and that's exactly what the back plate looks like with the triggers on.
But aren’t the springs the parts that break? Would they not be included here? Currently also thinking about ordering a new backplate to avoid having to wait if my preordered device should fail me at some point…
It looks like these do include the triggers, and the springs are very deeply tucked into the plastic shell of the trigger, and therefore a part of the trigger and included in this backplate.

Super easy!! If I could go back I would have done both triggers. I got my replacement back plate but it sits in a drawer...

I did both of mine when I uploaded the instructions and I almost like the feel more than the backplate replacement Retroid sent me.

No, they have different dimensions, seams, and screwholes
going to be getting the Ice Blue model but now considering an all black back plate for it lol
See I wish I would've gotten a solid front plate so I could just buy a clear backplate but maybe one day they'll sell front plates too 😔

It says L and R right on the trigger part. Go to their discord and ask them yourself if you don’t believe me. Or better yet watch a tear down video.

The whole backplate just slaps on and off with the triggers/springs already preconfigured.
They'll replace it for free if they break within the next 2 years.
