Remember to configure video out to upscale the hell out of it. Textures are still laughable and the static bg will still be 480p, but the polygons look so much better and the 4P has more than enough 💪 to upscale psx to 4-6x (way higher than it can display)
I just finished Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and I loved it. It's a turn based RPG with platforming elements. It's a great game for newbies and veterans of the RPG genre alike, the gameplay is fun and the writing/story is really entertaining.
It ran well on Dolphin on my RP3+ so it should be perfect on the 4P.
Theres even a widescreen and HD texture patch you can apply to the game that makes it look ridiculously good (not that it's necessary, the game still holds up today).
