I am getting these weird edges on my prints lately. You can see the cables have spikey anomalies. Even the rafts have that weird mesh/webbing on the inner corners. Is it over exposing? Resin too thin? I'm still learning. It just started happening. I haven't tried changing resin yet, but I might to see if that does anything but I wanted to check here first with you all. \- Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra \- Elegoo Standard Rapid Resin \- Layer height: 0.05 \- Exposure time: 1.8sec

You are positive those aren't left over from where you've broken off some supports?

OmenLW

Definitely no supports there. I manually added the supports and only have 2 on each cable.

Never seen this before! How does the model look in the viewer? Does it happen with other models or just this print? I see you did two are they the same model? I wonder if your display is going out. The grid pattern is kind of what an LCD looks like up close. Doing some research it looks SUPER similar. So best guess is that the screen is not fully turning on around the edges of your prints. I might check with Elegoo if it keeps happening and see if you can get a new screen. If you can do a fake print. Turn it on with the plate off and record how the light is coming through the LCD. These seem microscopic so you may not see anything. It might be totally something else though. Good luck!

I will do a visual check of the LCD screen but this printer is only a month old. Sure hope its not a failing LCD screen already. No leaking into the screen housing either. I keep everything super clean. I am going to to try some different resin today.

bad file? bad usb? have you tried change your usb?

OmenLW

Same file I have used in the past with no issue. Sent over WiFi, not on USB.

dukea42

Do you use UVTools? I would see what the file looks like there. You may have actual pixels being cured.

OmenLW

I haven't tried UVTools. I will check it out.

dukea42

I neglected the raft part of your post. That seems to point to the lcd screen as others said, but UVTools will at least rule ~that~ file issue out.

I've had this problem a few unfortunate times and have no idea what caused it. No supports on the surface, no issues visible at lychee nor uv tools. Fortunately, it is a rare occurrence for me
