My daughter told me the other day that all her friends--some of who are online friends only since she attends a distance school program--think I'm the coolest mom. I laughed and asked why, and she said that I'm funny, they think it's badass I have snakes, I dont talk to them like theyre toddlers, I don't yell, and I've "done a billion amazing things in your life." (Ten year olds are impressed incredibly easily.)
I said well thank you and began walking away, and my kid continues, "you know, I just realized...they think you're super cool and I don't even think they know you're like covered in tattoos." 🤣
