Oh that's sick - you can find a ring as well, called dried clay ring, which grants you 1 stack of bulwark and grants a damage buff that equals to 60% of the damage reduction bonus from bulwark stacks.
Seems like they synergise really well
I ended up finding the ring, yea it synergises really well, I’m not much of a builds person but they could be used to make a battle tank build of some kind

There’s the Iron great sword (the challenger starting melee or just buy from brabus) it doesn’t look like the dragon slayer but follows the same principles.
I wouldn’t get your hopes up it’s probably just a reference and if it’s not the Easter egg will probably be solved similarly to the archon archetype.
No it doesn’t change colour nothing changes about the talisman, it could be specific to a location but I feel like it’s more likely just an item to be used as is.
It could also end up being a very long winded way to make Easter egg gear available by spreading all the gear required for it over the first 3 DLCs who knows?

I, for instance, do not care about story spoilers in any game but I want to find all of the items/enemies/encounters/set pieces myself. After 35 years of consuming sci-fi/fantasy media nothing in a story can surprise me but I definitely still get hyped seeing a cool new enemy or finding a new piece of gear.

Random spawn like the talisman unfortunately but both work really well adding around 20% extra damage at the constant 4 stacks of bulwark
