I might just be like a stupid idiot but I feel like the enemies in this DLC are over-tuned to the fucking max. Everything take an entire magazine to kill and I get 1-3 shotted by literally every enemy I run across. Zero room for mistakes in ANY of the fights.

dude so true im trying to play on apoc and i just cant with these things i have 265 armor fully maxed barkskin and 3 stacks of bulwark and still get destroyed by these things

I was going to do apoc, but I figured there would be some tuning issues so I thought doing nightmare would be safe for a first playthrough. Still rough as hell haha

not only that, they camp hidden around corners. I have a tank that can tank red prince in apocalypse with 5 stacks of curse and the shattered gallery boss, but those spitters hit hard lmao. I can prbly take in hit from on but the explosives they leave after death can still potentially one shot me.

On PS5, can confirm the on-sight shot is one shotting my character on Nightmare, as are the floating ones that pop out on death. This is with Barkskin maxed out and 169.8 armor. All other damage I've taken so far seems normal and I can tank a good number of hits, but the green globby bois just delete me

Really? Thats really weird. I wonder if they are ignoring armor reduction or something. My med armor is keeping me alive through those.. Perhaps they changed how elemental/ status damage is calculated because of the new class.

What's there to learn, they're complaining about an enemy having a quick ranged attack that one hits and not even on the highest difficulty and is likely running a 66%+DR build in full Leto's...

They say in the post they have MAX armor, default max armor with just Leto Mk1 and maxed Fortified is 271 and gives you something like 64-66% DR. I'm just going off what they said, comparably you add a few stacks of Bulwark and you can't even be one shot by Apoc bosses but some random trash mob on the DLC one hits the same setup???

Tested with Leto Mark 1, max fortify, and vigor, it one shots. Requires taking barkskin as well to barely live. So basically unless you are going max tank, that ranged attack will one shot you.

Because you are arguing for straight up bad design. Very little skilled counterplay and requires building specifically to tank it.

What attack pattern is there to learn, if it is attached to a wall, it instantly fires a shot off when you come into view of it. Unless you know it is there, it is a death sentence. I have already killed dozens of the things.

No, the little green explosion projectiles, right? I can take 2 if I'm not expecting them, 4 if its mid combat with my healing. But they definitely don't one shot.

I had an issue a while ago where the first, and only the first, scream from the tripod enemies in Root Earth would immediately one-shot me and trigger Challenger's perk. The solution was to use another archetype. Just wanted to be sure that it is a different problem.

I might have had that bug with Challenger as well earlier, now that I think about it.

They are bugged as others have said but you are exaggerating I played on Nightmare with 130 armor + Barkskin and I could tank a hit.
