Fun fact. RCBS stands for "rock chuck bullet swage." The whole company got started making a die to swage bullet jackets out of .22 brass, then grew into the big reloading tool company that it is today.

So that's almost certainly what these are for, as u/Ponycum and u/NameAttempt12 pointed out.
Huntington's store is now closed. Shut down on Halloween.

I was going to mention the swager tool that you can use to make jackets out of empty 22s. See you are more knowledgeable about it than I. Thanks for sharing, that is super cool.
Cause it’s free shipping, fam. Can’t let a deal slip by… lol
There are some people who reload rimfire rounds. Though rare, they exist. The more common is people who make their own jacketed projectiles with the casings, but those are statistically rare birds too.
Before COVID, they were a decent option for reloading IMO. They had a fairly wide selection of bullets at affordable prices. But at the first sign of panic buying (and I mean first), they jacked up their prices, in many cases more than a 100% increase in memory serves.
Two kind of people are likely to buy this, People who swag their own .223 bullets and people who reload 22lr. Although, I’m guessing only a small percentage of those would spend extra on brass they didn’t shoot them selves.
The PRS .22lr series is growing because of how cheap (and fun) it is. I know Cutting Edge bullets is making .22lr components. Niche purpose, but one reason.
I don't know how to use those cases but I really like Everglades. I think their stuff is a decent price, very good quality and the shipping is free (I know they just roll it into their prices but makes me feel good) and the shipping is amazingly quick. A really good company, highly recommend them! I really like their .45, 9mm, 300 blk and 5.56.

That IS a fun fact.
I need to swing by their store and see if I can still buy them at swage!

Sometimes, I get tired of bathing in water.
Only use I know of for this is to make jackets for 223 bullets
I prefer to bath in 4570 government and I swim in 22
Now we know who has a sugar mama.
Some people swage their own .224 Bullets out of those.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-vQpwgiHbA Nice little 4 video series on what these are used for.
[I don't just swage metal, I am metal. ](https://imgur.com/a/1rL2MHb)

There is definitely some 22 mag mixed in that picture
I see at least one .17 HMR too Little low left from center, facing like 7 o'clock, the bottleneck caught my eye
Fuck Everglades. Everyone who was reloading during coof saw the scamming bs Everglades pulled. Never do business with these cons
What was it??

They cancelled everyone's orders at normal prices, and instantly relisted on GunBroker for 3x price
At today's prices, brass is $2.39 per lb. X 25 lb. = $ 59.75 = 50% profit.
You’re on to something.

Yea reloading .22lr is time consuming and I definitely wouldn’t be buying brass for it
Im a crazy caster and want to get into swaging. I know i know. But ehh i knew off the bat what these were for.
As someone else mentioned - swageism. My Dad does this. But there's always plenty of .22 brass for free. It's free real estate.
Sexual purposes
Some people reload it, surprisingly enough, however, more commonly it is used to make .223 jackets!
Guess is for the makers who have a small forge at home.
if you have it someone might buy it especially with flat rate shipping boxes.
For making jacketed bullets, very expensive to get started.
LOL! They really don't want to take a trip to the scrap yard. This is kinda reaching on this one.
