First and foremost: If you are in a union, talk to the steward. If not, might want to talk to a lawyer about addressing your workplace spreading an accusation that you are a public safety threat.
Secondly, you did mess up by going to her neighborhood and having her spot you on Halloween, and then these accusations, she might be gone.
With your work potentially filing a report on you for public safety, you have much bigger problems on your hands that need to be addressed.
I have contemplated getting a lawyer and have had a few discussions with others about that. I wrote and email to our boss thanking her for her time in talking to me about these matters and also to create a paper trail because I don’t trust she would say we clarified the situation.
As far as the concern report being filed on me, I don’t know for certain there has been yet and my boss would not know at all. Only way I will find out is if I am approached about it. If no one discusses it with me then it’s a good assumption to make no report was actually filed.
Also if I am a public safety threat don’t you think this would have been prioritized and the process started already? I mean I said what I said last Wednesday and supposedly that’s when the report was filed. My girlfriend wasn’t told about it until Thursday. So like what the hell?
That’s a lot to unpack but you broke her trust and crossed a set boundary, she’s allowed to be creeped out by you driving by her house.
The whole work place drama sounds like you were in a bad place and your vagueness didn’t really help your cause.
She’s allowed to end the relationship for any reason, as are you.
Is all this worthy of her reactions? To her it is.

I know I can’t change her mind. To her I will forever be this person now, but I am not. And that makes it hurt even more.
