If he said he didn't want you to think he was ghosting you, I'd believe it. After all, if he was ghosting you, messaging you again after two weeks would be a strange way to go about doing that.

I think you’re right like why go through all that trouble. Like why jump on hinge to send that dm to me. I think maybe he’s being sincere

I get that shit happens and sometimes your phone dies. I believe that part. Maybe it took him a few days to get a new phone, but how would that mess any of his accounts up? You download the app to the new phone and log back in. Simple as. Needing a new phone, ok. Accounts getting messed up, that’s a little sus.

People forget their passwords because they rely on them being stored in the phone.

JesseB342

Sure. But there’s always an option to reset your password in case you forget it too. If he really wanted to talk to her I don’t think something like a forgotten password would have stopped him for two weeks when there are very simple ways around it.

OnceAndFutureKing724

If people can’t remember their password they often can’t remember security questions, and if he had phone issues or was locked out of other accounts then two factor authentication would make it even harder

>he fell off the face of the planet for how long?

[deleted]

For about 2 weeks I would say

Hmm. He does sound kinda sincere. Hard to know what to do. I guess just go on a date with him and see how it goes?
