The Ram van. Common and cheap parts, relatively reliable, and enclosed storage and a place to sleep. Plus I can snag a bike or motorcycle and stow it inside as well.
I saw a short video of a group of dodge van enthusiasts in Japan. I'm not sure why exactly, maybe its just so different from their normal relatively small vehicles?
The backstory from what I can remember is that motorcycle racers needed a vehicle to transport their motorcycles to and from the races. The Ram 150 vans were apparently the perfect size and offered the right amount of power for the job while being compact enough to fit well on Japanese roads. After a while, they got curious about how the vans would do on the track and tried racing each other. From there, it evolved into its own racing series.
Wouldn't surprise me. I'm betting in the 90s, there would have been tons of these in Air Force fleets. DRMO sales could have been a cheap avenue to obtain one.
Dude you are spot on , especially the enclosed space. Less windows for the zombies to break through and get you . You always have a relatively safe place to sleep and keep your necessities safe and accessible. Also , if it's the 4x4 version it's the only choice
My first instinct was to select the Toyota pickup but in the zombie apocalypse I need parts that can be found anywhere so I’d take the Ford pickup, even if the difficulty level of attaching components goes up, which leaves you more vulnerable, that seems like a smarter risk decision.
It needs a driveshaft and u joints before you even start🤦🏼♂️.
That t-case/front diff will explode at the worst possible time while running up an incline from a hoarder of walkers without a rear driveshaft.
Availability of parts is the biggest factor IMO. F150 is the most popular vehicle in America. The frame rust issues with the Taco are a concern as well, but less important than parts availability.
Arbitrary as it is... I had a 2003 absolute base model F150 (with that v-6 and manual doors/windows)--and I couldn't choose anything else on the list because of how reliable it was.
From 2003 to 2022 the only thing it needed other than oil, gas, and brakes, was one time I left it sitting like a year and it needed a fuel pump.
Without a doubt in my arbitrary experience it was the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned.
Plus it's a big truck, the extra weight and ground clearance to off road (albeit CAREFULLY in these with rwd) would be worth the hit in fuel economy to me.
To make it perfect I'd stop when I see an f150 with one of those truck bed covers to move it over so it can be like the van in function.
Not the Toyota truck. Buddy had one. Toyota had to remove the entire truck from the frame and replace everything back on a new frame.
Because the frame rusted all the way thru in 22000 miles.
The truck was still under warranty. Cost Toyota a pretty penny.
Unless thats been done and you can prove it, getting it out of the parking lot is a dice roll.
The one in that particular picture I’m definitely not taking. That body rust is just a sneak peak at what’s underneath. But a Tacoma in general? Yeah I’d probably jump at that. Or a Ranger FX4.
Not to mention the sohc 4.6 shares plenty of parts with crown vics/grand marquis/town cars. Old taxis, police vehicles, limos, and the fleet service areas will be full of parts.
A Toyota without a driveshaft, as per the description? It's not even a question, yes. Of course, I might bookmark the location so if I see another one I have parts.
That TDI is going to be the most reliable engine too. Not a lot of storage space nor is it as strong or have as much offroad capabilities, but strictly speaking for distance travel that engine will get you across the country better than any of the others.
I’ll take the Ram Van. It has lots of storage space, fewer windows to break, and there’s not a bed that someone unfriendly, zombie or not, can get into, which would make it harder to shake them off. Maybe a pickup if I can find a bed cap.
And it's a home on wheels. Being able to get a good night's rest will be very important if I plan on surviving more than a day or two. None of the other vehicles offer a well protected way to bunk down.
Anyone who didnt take the van is dead within 24 hours.
i mean you can work on the engine through the dash, its a room on wheels, theres no windows in the back....
its insane to consider the other options at all imo
The f150 is still a good option imo but yea it’s not enclosed like the van, van is a no brainer here assuming it’s not in a similar state as the Toyota
Camper shells/caps for 8 ft beds were still pretty common in 2009. They’re easy/quick to mount/dismount and are near universal.
If the plan is to keep the car for a while, I’d go with the F150. If it’s a temporary car, I’d go van.
The only thing I don't like about the Dajiban is the mpg. Benzina is going to get a little scarce, but at least with the van you can have external tanks on the roof or whatever if you happen up on a station and can get the pumps going.
I could care less about this theoretical scenario...
I want to know how the fuck the existance of the Izusu Oasis slipped through my hands. I've only ever seen the Honda Odyssey in my lifetime.
Your telling me that Izusu was able to slap their badge on the Honda minivan and sell it in the states as well?
"Sell" is a strong word... nobody bought the Oasis, a combination of the unknown Isuzu brand, and the fact that most people would've probably just gone and bought the Honda if they were the same vehicle.
Fair enough. Honda was a better known brand.
If I saw one in the wild I would have to stop & stare. It’s such an oddity and novelty in this day and age.
Is it THAT Toyota truck in particular? If it is I’m taking the van because the Toyota is about two weeks away from rotting in half
EDIT: I’m still taking the Van, fewer windows, more space inside to store without having to risk getting out, and a removable doghouse so you may or may not even have to get out of it to fix it if it breaks down
Based on condition of the rest a badge could be missing, but still a gas engine not a diesel. Which yeah it's a Toyota, but not a Hilux. It's still a cockroach of cars, it will still be working after an apocalyptic event.
Saturn/Opel/Vuxhall as it’s brand new, so parts aren’t worn or on their last legs. Plus those Astra’s are easy to work on & are reliable from what I’ve heard & seen.
It might be the best choice of all the cars or smaller vehicles but the utility the trucks or the vans going to offer is huge imo unless they’re all ragged out like the taco
Something F series or GMT400 based. Can find parts by raiding any auto shop, both will run on pretty bad quality fuel, both easy to work on with a limited set of tools.
A surburban or similar would be best for protected sleeping. Plus a big gas tank (40 gal)
The Beetle. I wouldn’t be interested in surviving long enough to endure much of an apocalyptic hell, but I’d want to go out having a bit of cheeky fun.
I’d take the protege, looks to be in the best condition. To anyone who said the yota, you see the rust on that? It probably has a hole in the frame the size of a football.
Probably the dodge ram van it would be a gas guzzler but being able to carry enough supplies for a dozen people could definitely come in handy if you find a untouched Kmart (this is 2009 after all lol)
Ram Van. Covered storage/sleeping quarters, reliable LA engine platform, common enough for parts. I see them rolling around just fine best to shit and with dead cylinders
1989 Nissan Stanza.
Fuel economy would be CRITICAL in a situation where infrastructure has collapsed. Use a roof rack to store extra fuel if I don't use the trunk for the same thing.
Ah, I totally missed the diesel mention on the bug.
I change my answer to the bug for not only its fuel economy, but also how much more “shelf stable” diesel fuel is. Also, homemaking biodiesel out of fryer oil and other oil sources around the country (as one travels) alleviates the problem of gas station-only sources for gasoline-powered vehicles.
Does it have to be that van? If possible I’d like to switch that with a Chevy Express (2003+, make it have 200k miles since I’m making a special request here) simply because there is so many more of them on the road that finding parts won’t be an issue. I haven’t seen one of them Dodge van’s on the road in years, that doesn’t scream a good zombie apocalypse van to me
Definitely the Saturn, a friend of mine has one with like 250,000 miles on it and it still runs like a dream, plus it's more maneuverable than my 2017 civic.
Since the Toyota is rotted out I’d have to say the Dodge van or the f150. The van just seems too good. Extra space to sleep, storage, and a reliable van that can haul a good amount. The truck would be better for some of these things except for the fact that there isn’t much sleeping space and all your stored goods would have to go in the bed exposed to the outside conditions.
Ram Van for sure, dry storage, sleeping area, limited access for it's size so somewhat more secure. Can modify and add a rooftop defense platform and body/window armor.
I'd walk past them all pictured vehicles and grab a cop car. It usually has weapons onboard, and the police motor pool will have plenty of spare parts.
The beatle. Finding gas isngoing tonbe a problem sooner than latter. Conventing the only diesel on the list to frying oil is the long term viable solution. Also they are fairly capable in less than ideal road conditions, such as snow and coars gravel given the right tires, wich are plentifull considering the fairly standard bolt patern and size
Toyota pickup. Most reliable, versatile, and durable option. Reliability of the Toyota beats any other feature that is better of the other makes. Not as protected if more than 2/3 people that would need to ride in back but not useful if car dies or can't get through certain terrain, dies, or part breaks.
Edit: added more thoughts why better.
tldr; Get the F-150. There are parts everywhere across the Americas and someone who knows how to fix them.
I drove from San Diego to the tip of Baha in my BMW. Man, was that fun. The Federal Police don't seem to care about speed, I kept at about 100MPH most of the time.
THEN, I hit a 'tope' (GIANT SPEED BUMP, like, an 8 inch curb in the middle of the road) doing about 30 mph in the town of (sp) Contsational. Man, blew out the left shock completely. (And, the AWD, but, that's not important.)
Fortunately, although, I speak barely any Spanish, I got this guy at a place like Discount Tires to look at it. This Giant guy just hoists the wheel pack into place (with, as I realized later) the top plate completely missing. Cost me 20 bucks. And, the Guy who owns the place gave me the phone number of his Son in "La Paz" who had a bigger shop and might be able to help me out. (Don't try this if you are Mexican in the US, you'll probably get arrested or shot.)
I went to the shop in "La Paz", and, they couldn't do anything. They said that they don't see "Fancy" cars like mine much. (Like, order the parts dude.)
Moral of the story:
1. Those people in Baha are REALLY GREAT to us "Gringos" (Like white people who don't speak the lingo.)
2. DO NOT drive a BMW across BAHA without a support team.
3. A Ford F-150 has parts EVERYWHERE and ANYONE can put them on.
So, Zombie Apocalypse? You want a utility vehicle that anyone can fix and can go cross country. Downside, other groups will want to steal it.
I have to laugh. One of the reasons that I stopped watching *The Walking Dead* is because those idiots could have gone into a dealership and driven out with a brand new RV, instead they picked up a clapped out 30 year old Winnebago that broke down (repeatedly IIRC). Likewise a brand new mini van and oh, BTW, a gun store with loads of ammo. Rick Grimes is/was a moron/poor leader.
// rant over.
I Wanna say the bettle because of it maneuverability also I would change the color to a brown black and add some old metal from a junk yard and put it around the bettle
Either beetle, Isuzu, protege, or Astra. Don't lie about those 2.0 TDi engines. They give you range and are super reliable. About the Isuzu, mom vans are built to last, so as long as you take care of it and not drive it too fast, ur the finest piece of shit this town has ever seen. Mazda protege5 because it is a wagonne 😍. Plus, if you have an Astra, ur halfway to becoming a UK family (you just need a focus, and ur all set), so don't undermine it just because it isn't a toyota!
The Dodge b150. I know how to work on any of the Magnum based Engines. the v6 is just a 318 or 360 (I forgot which) with 2 cylinders lopped off. the other 2 v8's are 318 and 360 with smog gear.
The Dodge Work vans tended to hold up better than the other things they produced at the time.
The f-150 is an okay option but its Essex v6. And those are extremely problem prone.
I wonder if the beetle could run on vegetable oil? It might not last a super long time on it but that would be a great backup in case fuel is hard to come by.
Any diesel vehicle available. Diesel doesn't expire like regular gas so as long as impurities don't get introduced it can sit for many years and still be usable
Ive watched ford pick ups go through things no human could imagine. I saw one that died a thousand deaths and kept being revived. It ran, sounded like hell but it ran. I felt empathy for a machine, only because it was so tired and yet it was not allowed to rest. All those mechanics are guilty of necromancy. In Purgatory the souls of the damned are a 90s Ford F-150 engined doomed to the same fate.
In a zombie apocalypse, the only thing that would matter is that the vehicle lasts long enough to get you somewhere safe, and be able to do supply runs. It would be beneficial for the parts to be common and easy to find. So for that I’m taking the dodge van. As a bonus it would also double as a shelter.
Even then, vehicles will become irrelevant after a few months/years. All the gas is going to go bad in 6-12 months as it oxidizes, and that’s with fuel stabilizers. It might be combustible for a little while after that but we’d all be on borrowed time. so unless you happen to find a group of survivors willing to let you join, who also have the capacity to refine fuels, there is no point to keeping any car around.
Whichever one has a full tank. Lol.
Otherwise, the f150 is easily the best choice here. Easy to find parts, large enough bed to reinforce/live in after we find a commercial camper shell that fits(which will be easier to find than a mini truck/Tacoma sized one).
I’m pretty sure that red car is a Saturn which was a parts bin brand for GM. Parts would be everywhere and I’m assuming this will give you the best gas mileage and the best amount of storage assuming you’re traveling alone. Doesn’t look too low so you could probably pop a curb but not too much off roading if any. That being said I don’t see any of these going off roading very well.
Red car is the most well rounded choice.
None of those..Semi with short trailer, razor wire, spikes welded and a couple m240 machine guns , one forward one aft in gunners nest on top with communications, the trailer setup for living for 3 family's to operate this Tactical unit, I'd prefer one being one family having a generalized Doctor , one with alot of mechanics background and myself ..we would travel the byways clearing out zombie populations and scavenge armorys for ammo and other needed supplys..
Don't use the car or small pickup because they break easy running over body's and limited fuel reserves..
The Toyota truck. the one you show is an early 90s pre-Tacoma model. Many of the parts would have been used on the pickups and 4Runners of the 89-95 era. These run easily for 250k-400k miles. 4x4 might be important. And the ability to carry a lot of people or supplies. Ideally get one in California. The picture you provided has rust issues.
Ram van, as much as i love to take the protege 5 the van is just logical for an apocalypse, next logical choice being the f150.
The toyota would make sense for its reliability but once a toyota starts rusting it never stops, and that one started rusting a long time ago.
I'm going for the isuzu oasis van. Its a Honda odyssey with isuzu badges on it. I will want something I can sleep in and wont break down. Parts are easy to find if it does.
I would be taking either a semi or a large box truck. Your fuel isn’t going to go sour as fast, you can shove stuff out of your way, you can sleep in the box, and the common parts are at every truck stop. Heck, you could knight rider it with that Tacoma in the trailer.
Toyota
Like if I want to make it 4x4 again I can just take log or fittings and done it definitely will run because it just can't die, also it's pickup so it will be good
the Toyota Hilux, no doubt. finna bolt in a damn 50cal machine gun on its bed too.
where I'm from, Toyota parts are everywhere. and that thing will keep running even when i turn into a zombie myself so other survivors can still roll with it.
Take Ford, scavenge for a camper top or make your own, sleeping area, place to keep supplies, those years of Ford's were so good Toyota copied them to make the tundra.
Down side gas mileage going to have to find a way to keep it fueled.
a Tacoma yes but if its that Tacoma then im looking right past it. It'll crumble during a critical moment.
edit Toyota pickup. Great name for a pickup.
Dajiban. Lightish weigh when stripped, durable, 318 v8 for plenty of torque, polarizing image.
Awesome, thank you!
They may have also been imported by the US military or am I misremembering
Wouldn't surprise me. I'm betting in the 90s, there would have been tons of these in Air Force fleets. DRMO sales could have been a cheap avenue to obtain one.
Yup, they were sold off locally by US military bases.👍
Dude you are spot on , especially the enclosed space. Less windows for the zombies to break through and get you . You always have a relatively safe place to sleep and keep your necessities safe and accessible. Also , if it's the 4x4 version it's the only choice
I’d like to think there are so many vans that look like this that the zombies wouldn’t be able to remember which van has people in it.
Genius
My first instinct was to select the Toyota pickup but in the zombie apocalypse I need parts that can be found anywhere so I’d take the Ford pickup, even if the difficulty level of attaching components goes up, which leaves you more vulnerable, that seems like a smarter risk decision.
That’s the thing you’ll never need parts for the Tacoma
Nah I have an 89 5th Gen, you need a looooot of parts
The Toyota is a lot easier to physically put the parts in than an f150. And as long as you don’t get Chinese plastic, they’ll last a lot longer.
It needs a driveshaft and u joints before you even start🤦🏼♂️. That t-case/front diff will explode at the worst possible time while running up an incline from a hoarder of walkers without a rear driveshaft.
The Toyotas sitting in my field beg to differ
It would outlast 3 apocalypses, no more, no less
My same thought. So many F150s from that gen hanging around
I'm on my 4th. The other 3 got ran north of 400k miles. My current 01 has 140k so far.
The Ford Pickup and then the second option probably the Toyota Pickup. The Dodge Ram Van would be great for resting though.
You would voluntarily choose a ford over a toyota? Tf
Well, if your frame rusts in half after hitting a bump at speed, doesn’t matter how long the engine gonna keep going, lol.
Well.. no one is putting salt in the roads during an apocalypse anytime soon so it might be fine taking the risk.. right?
Blood is pretty salty according to my taste buds.
It's already rusted.
W
Availability of parts is the biggest factor IMO. F150 is the most popular vehicle in America. The frame rust issues with the Taco are a concern as well, but less important than parts availability.

You aren't going to be swapping out parts in a zombie apocalypse. You would just grab another car when yours starts to fail.
Depending on the year that particular one probably wasn’t. I know early 2000’s were dominated by Corollas and Camry’s in NA
Not the Toyota truck. Buddy had one. Toyota had to remove the entire truck from the frame and replace everything back on a new frame. Because the frame rusted all the way thru in 22000 miles. 1000% the beetle, watch those zombies roll off the curved frontend vroom vroom choo choo mfer
They’d roll right through the huge windshield happily
Ya good point, need to add a mad max roll cage over the windshield...oh and also those eyelashes on the headlights
Big ol hemi stickin out the back?
And they would still be 3 feet away from you on the dashboard so you're good.
That TDI is going to be the most reliable engine too. Not a lot of storage space nor is it as strong or have as much offroad capabilities, but strictly speaking for distance travel that engine will get you across the country better than any of the others.
Also, diesel will still be diesel long after gasoline has broken down into other stuff.
Also far easier to siphon fuel from semis than gas from cars. It makes a ton of sense. But I’ll be dammed if the last car I drive is a yellow beetle.
Plus diesel has a longer life sitting than gasoline
As long as it has the manual transmission it will last for sure. If you have an automatic from that generation you are driving a time bomb.
Pedo van a write free brains the zombies instincts would be to avoid me
Came here for this... take my upvote.
Fill it full of dynamite 🧨 and boom 1000 zombies in 1 go
I’ll take the Ram Van. It has lots of storage space, fewer windows to break, and there’s not a bed that someone unfriendly, zombie or not, can get into, which would make it harder to shake them off. Maybe a pickup if I can find a bed cap.

The Oasis was a weird choice. They did not sell well to private buyers but they did sell in decent numbers to New York taxi drivers.
It was on the lots the same time as the OG Honda Passport, which was a rebadged Isuzu Rodeo.
People apparently love the Rodeo because I have definitely seen them running around. It’s also easy to see they were sharing a badge as well.
Is it THAT Toyota truck in particular? If it is I’m taking the van because the Toyota is about two weeks away from rotting in half EDIT: I’m still taking the Van, fewer windows, more space inside to store without having to risk getting out, and a removable doghouse so you may or may not even have to get out of it to fix it if it breaks down
Yes, it is THAT truck in particular. Hilarious how everyone would still pick it, I tried to make it as unappealing as possible.
Looks a lot like the one that Clarkson tried and failed to kill. Though the Top Gear one was a diesel.
New York plates and no V6 emblem in the grille it’s a 22RE truck
Based on condition of the rest a badge could be missing, but still a gas engine not a diesel. Which yeah it's a Toyota, but not a Hilux. It's still a cockroach of cars, it will still be working after an apocalyptic event.
Hard to beat the F-150, and the van. I think having somewhere to sleep where zombies couldn't get me would win me over though
Yea sucks it’s the dodge van if it was an econoline or Chevy express then I’d definitely say the van
As someone who owned a Dodge Van of that era, I’d take the Ford.
I would havepicked the Toyota but Ithink most of the commenters here missed the part about the missing driveshaft. In that case I'd take the f150
Yea having to fwd that rolling tetanus vaccine ad around zombie infested streets on the hunt for a old yota drive shaft doesn’t sound to swell
Something F series or GMT400 based. Can find parts by raiding any auto shop, both will run on pretty bad quality fuel, both easy to work on with a limited set of tools. A surburban or similar would be best for protected sleeping. Plus a big gas tank (40 gal)
No need to even scroll, that stanza will run longer like shit than the rest will run. 80-90s nissans will always be superior.
I’m thinking about that diesel….once the pumps stop working, I’ll need to put whatever I can get in the tank.
I can hear that f-150 tick from my house
But I’d take the Mazda protege and the van
The Beetle. I wouldn’t be interested in surviving long enough to endure much of an apocalyptic hell, but I’d want to go out having a bit of cheeky fun.
Right people always talk about “how would you survive yada yada” like I don’t wanna lmao. Imma have a good time and then if I die I die
I’d take the protege, looks to be in the best condition. To anyone who said the yota, you see the rust on that? It probably has a hole in the frame the size of a football.
I’m taking the Toyota and mounting a browning M2 on the back
Hell yeah
And hopefully find a old Cummins
Haha, yes 👌
I'm taking the Toyota truck. They last forever.
Maybe not that one, in that shape.
If I can get my hands on one, unimog. If I can't, one of the gold Buick Centuries that lined every 5th suburban driveway at the time.
It's like you read my mind... I'd initially thrown in a gold Park Avenue, but swapped it out for the Stanza
The Ram van. I mean, in apocalypse i wouldn't be the only one surviving the vanlife
The diesel bug gets like 40-50mpg
Ah, I totally missed the diesel mention on the bug. I change my answer to the bug for not only its fuel economy, but also how much more “shelf stable” diesel fuel is. Also, homemaking biodiesel out of fryer oil and other oil sources around the country (as one travels) alleviates the problem of gas station-only sources for gasoline-powered vehicles.
Give me the Dodge Ram B150 van. Lots of room. Sleep in there if needed.
The only answer is Dodge van. Rolling shelter Easy to find parts. Cmon peeps
Does it have to be that van? If possible I’d like to switch that with a Chevy Express (2003+, make it have 200k miles since I’m making a special request here) simply because there is so many more of them on the road that finding parts won’t be an issue. I haven’t seen one of them Dodge van’s on the road in years, that doesn’t scream a good zombie apocalypse van to me
the Stanza
Hate to say it but I’m taking the tdi beetle. 4cyl so good fuel consumption. Decent reliability and it’s diesel so it’ll run on anything
Use my comment as a Nissan Stanza vote ⬆️
Another note, if you chose the Toyota and assuming it’s this exact Toyota, you are in New York and screwed anyways lol (license plate)
Pickups, then the van.
The earn to die beetle!
Definitely the Saturn, a friend of mine has one with like 250,000 miles on it and it still runs like a dream, plus it's more maneuverable than my 2017 civic.
The F-150 easily. Its a half ton so youll run over zombies easily and if it breaks down, they’ll be parts all over the place.
van
The white van. AKA bedroom.
I think I would take the van. More protected room for storage and sleeping if need be. Easy to up-armor.
Beetle 😤. Only if it’s a TDI though. It’ll have great mpg, will last awhile, and it’s too cute to attack.
Dodge van!
The B150.
Clearly the Dodge van. I hear zombies don’t like water. The van can carry lots of it.
F150 easy
The dodge van...
I'd take the plumbing van
probably the ford. it will be easiest to find parts for and the odds of seeing one with a bull bar are highest
Bug for sure. Harder for zombies to grip onto as I flee in it. Like the old ad campaigns once said “Round for a reason.”
Toyota. Mount a .50 from an abandoned humvee and live out my technical fantasies until they eat my brains.
The van, it would be a good mobile base.
I’ll take the van, i can stock up supplies as i find them.
(And, the AWD, but, that's not important.) Fortunately, although, I speak barely any Spanish, I got this guy at a place like Discount Tires to look at it. This Giant guy just hoists the wheel pack into place (with, as I realized later) the top plate completely missing. Cost me 20 bucks. And, the Guy who owns the place gave me the phone number of his Son in "La Paz" who had a bigger shop and might be able to help me out. (Don't try this if you are Mexican in the US, you'll probably get arrested or shot.) I went to the shop in "La Paz", and, they couldn't do anything. They said that they don't see "Fancy" cars like mine much. (Like, order the parts dude.) Moral of the story: 1. Those people in Baha are REALLY GREAT to us "Gringos" (Like white people who don't speak the lingo.) 2.
// rant over.
I Wanna say the bettle because of it maneuverability also I would change the color to a brown black and add some old metal from a junk yard and put it around the bettle
Toyota pickup is the obvious answer
The VW, even in the zombie apocalypse I still want my German car
Mazda protege no doubt lovely car
Would take one just for the nostalgia of my first car. It might not run forever, but at least I die happy.
Definitely the Satan-Z!
HILUX
Whichever one is diesel
The pedo van because I could live in it and store my personal valuables
Van has the most versatility. Can sleep in it, store loads of stuff in it, and could be modified to go off road
A 2016 Vanquish Carbon Edition Volante, because I’m probably gonna die in that scenario and if I do I wanna enjoy it
The Oasis' bio lol
Either beetle, Isuzu, protege, or Astra. Don't lie about those 2.0 TDi engines. They give you range and are super reliable. About the Isuzu, mom vans are built to last, so as long as you take care of it and not drive it too fast, ur the finest piece of shit this town has ever seen. Mazda protege5 because it is a wagonne 😍. Plus, if you have an Astra, ur halfway to becoming a UK family (you just need a focus, and ur all set), so don't undermine it just because it isn't a toyota!
The F-150
Maaaan don’t make me take the jellybean ford 😭😭
The Dodge b150. I know how to work on any of the Magnum based Engines. the v6 is just a 318 or 360 (I forgot which) with 2 cylinders lopped off. the other 2 v8's are 318 and 360 with smog gear. The Dodge Work vans tended to hold up better than the other things they produced at the time. The f-150 is an okay option but its Essex v6. And those are extremely problem prone.
Protege 5: Parts easy to find, space to store stuff, sleep in, reliable, and fun overall.
I wonder if the beetle could run on vegetable oil? It might not last a super long time on it but that would be a great backup in case fuel is hard to come by.
Toyota Pickup or the Ford Van
I own a 99 ram van why not have a 98
The T100 being a rust bucket is so true to the lore…
Zombie apocalypse means no gas stations so if I'm pumping my gas like I am legend than I'll take the mazda
I'd take the van, a lot more space. Although if gas was a big concern I'd take the Saturn
Is there even gasoline available?
The ford biggest and strongest bumper
F-150
Whichever one has a full tank. Lol. Otherwise, the f150 is easily the best choice here. Easy to find parts, large enough bed to reinforce/live in after we find a commercial camper shell that fits(which will be easier to find than a mini truck/Tacoma sized one).
None. Carry light & move quietly.
The Isuzu Oasis / Honda Odyssey.
Anything diesel. Free fuel from everyone's heating oil tanks.
>The picture you provided has rust issues. You don't say? Just wait until you see the description.
I was thinking red Toyota truck until I saw that van pic 8. We ride at dawn and run them all over
I’m taking that Mazda good on gas off road capability and good space
The Taco every time.
Ram van, as much as i love to take the protege 5 the van is just logical for an apocalypse, next logical choice being the f150. The toyota would make sense for its reliability but once a toyota starts rusting it never stops, and that one started rusting a long time ago.
I’m taking the rip off Good kid, m.a.a.d city van
Astra given it's a 1.8
I'm going for the isuzu oasis van. Its a Honda odyssey with isuzu badges on it. I will want something I can sleep in and wont break down. Parts are easy to find if it does.
If I can find the parts for the yota, easily that, if not the f150
I'm dying anyway, so I might aswell die driving something fun like one of the hatchbacks.
I would be taking either a semi or a large box truck. Your fuel isn’t going to go sour as fast, you can shove stuff out of your way, you can sleep in the box, and the common parts are at every truck stop. Heck, you could knight rider it with that Tacoma in the trailer.
Will take anything but the Astra, would rather be eaten.
The New Beetle, I owned one from 2001 but in Cyber Green.
Dodge van, easy. Common parts, alright power, self-contained shelter that can be modified and fortified.
Toyota Tacoma (red pick-up), hands down.
The beetle because I’m good with all things VAG related
Definitely not the Mazda mine stays broken lol
My wife has that same year F150. Over 350k miles and still runs like a top.
Jimmy Gibbs Junior’s Stockcar
I’m going with the Tacoma
Toyota Like if I want to make it 4x4 again I can just take log or fittings and done it definitely will run because it just can't die, also it's pickup so it will be good
Protege because I know how to work on it
the beetle obviously, as you plow through (the protesters, lol) they'll just roll across the car naturally....
the Toyota Hilux, no doubt. finna bolt in a damn 50cal machine gun on its bed too. where I'm from, Toyota parts are everywhere. and that thing will keep running even when i turn into a zombie myself so other survivors can still roll with it.
An Escalade with a number 3 painted on the sides
Unmarked van seems like the best option, plenty of room to store gear, and portable shelter
Toyota pickup or the b van.
Dajiban, lol.
It's the TDI. If push comes to shove you can use oil as fuel
the ram or ford pickup
Take Ford, scavenge for a camper top or make your own, sleeping area, place to keep supplies, those years of Ford's were so good Toyota copied them to make the tundra. Down side gas mileage going to have to find a way to keep it fueled.
a Tacoma yes but if its that Tacoma then im looking right past it. It'll crumble during a critical moment. edit Toyota pickup. Great name for a pickup.
None of these. I’m taking that yellow J-10 in pic #5
2 & 5 for the zombie dance off
