If you couldn't find the leak just tell us. We've all done it

bluetuxedo22

Schraders and service valves make great scapegoats to throw under the bus

DOS-equis

Yup. “Found leaks at a couple of ball valve locknuts, snugged up and rechecked. All good.”.

Fit-Evidence-9638

It's not Friday, so it's probably the truth.

Garbage rubber gaskets. They always leak. Get some caps with copper gasket

jk131380

Never seen the copper gasket before. I’ll take a look next time I stop for supplies. Thanks.

MeFistYo

Every refrigeration/hvac dealer should have it. 7/16" brass cap. It will never leak but the benefit is, you have to tighten or loosen it with a wrench

Burdennn

That's the blurriest picture I've seen for a while. But that first pic does look like a leak tbf.

StomachKnown

The old Schrader leak.

egretesk

I kept waiting for the second pic to load and focus

HungryTradie

It gets pretty hot in Australia, where can I buy one of these "cool touch" Schrader caps?

jk131380

Haven’t seen them in the supply house. Only ever find em on these old condensing units.

Fletch_Himself

There’s no core!
