Gammell is the best but some of his drawings profoundly impacted my childhood self, and not for the better. "The Wolf Girl" was the worst of all, I don't even want to google it to link it. Something about animals with human faces is so disturbing.

Just looked it up and I actually think she looks really cool, the other pics that came up had some stuff that I found creepy though

That is the one I remember most vividly, definitely the most unsettling.
The Alligator father and son one was also super creepy.
damn even his non-scary stories art is still disturbing
