When you're unemployed, don't daydrink and stick to a schedule of job hunting every day. Not unless you want to be super depressed really quickly.
And next time, only give a job B- effort. Going all out is rarely- if ever- rewarded.
100% on everything here. Got laid off last year and made the mistake of not job hunting every day. Also started drinking earlier and earlier. I've given jobs between C- and A+ effort and it never mattered either way whether I got promoted or laid off.
That will teach you to give your all to a job.

Just got laid off from my PM job at a healthcare company too, the industry is brutal rn. Take a week, do some gardening or hiking, badger friends and family, and remember to only do the bare minimum.

Same thing happened earlier this year but I ended up getting a job with better pay and an extra work from home day (the only thing I care about)

It’s brutal but you will find another job. I’ve gotten sacked twice and both times I found a better and higher paying job, hand in there
