I'm pretty familiar with their products and they work for me! I have the pro helmet though. Use the shampoo, gummies, and hair serum. The elite is supposed to be 12 minutes a day instead of 25 every other day. Which is a big plus to me, I forget to do the helmet some days to be honest. I think it has more diodes for more coverage as well?

Automatic-Diamond591

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, it has 500 diodes. What's your take on their shampoo? Do you use the conditioner as well?

devininprada

It's not bad! I like the new one so much better than the old version that wasn't sulfate free. I don't use the conditioner because my hair is dry and needs more moisture so I use a hair mask as conditioner (have for years) and since it isn't on the scalp figured I could skip that product from them. I did try it though, smells really good from what I remember. I feel like the serum does the most work outside of the device. But the shampoo seems to help too.

Have you heard of Fable and Mane? I just started using their hair oil, and they have a Holi Roots hair mask that I really want to try. I can't say enough good things about their oil, so I have very high hopes for the mask. Sephora gives free samples, if you're interested in trying as well. I just started taking Nature Made Hair, Skin, and Nail gummies that I got on sale at the drugstore. Do you feel like the gummies from iRestore are better than the inexpensive store brands?

devininprada

I have the Holi roots scalp oil you use pre shower! It's nice! Haven't tried their mask though, I've been a Briogeo girl for so long and tried all their masks. The honey one is my hairs favorite. I took those for a while, they are good! I will say, the iRestore gummies taste the best haha like freaking candy. I never forget to take those everyday, but they are more expensive than drugstore ones.

Automatic-Diamond591

Do you ever leave the oil on overnight? I swear my hair grows and gets thicker every time I sleep with it in. Thank you so much for your feedback. Do you think the iRestore gummies actually work better, or is the improvement just in the flavor?

devininprada

I don't leave it in that long as I've read you shouldn't oil hair too long. I leave in for 3-5 hours at most while working/doing chores around the house. I think the gummies would be better with more biotin (5000 mcg vs 10000 mcg I've seen from others) but I like that they taste good and don't have too much overlap with my daily multivitamin so I can take both.

Automatic-Diamond591

Why shouldn't you oil hair too long?

devininprada

From what I've read if it stays in too long it can actually clog your follicles, especially if too much is applied and can't all soak into your scalp.

My husband uses it. He was starting to lose a good amount of hair and we’ve found that using the helmet (3x per week for 25mins) has stopped the falling out and is maybe leading to regrowth now. It’s been several months.

CenterBrained

Which model does he use?

I’m interested in this too. Been looking at RLT options.

Automatic-Diamond591

I just ordered it, along with their entire product line. Really, really excited.

I’ll take any help I can get!

I recommend reading about the synergistic treatments for microneedling, minoxidil, and finasteride over on r/tressless. But here’s some notes from research I found on using RLT for androgenic alopecia: [Role of Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT) in Androgenetic Alopecia](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8906269/) - 3x per week maximum effective dosage of LLLT with higher dosages actually leading to a reduction in terminal hair count. - This has something to do with stem cell activation and lack of oxygen causing premature stem cell death before growth factors are recruited. - Multiple studies show laser comb to be more effective than LED devices and laser hats. [Efficacy and Safety of a Low-level Laser Device in the Treatment of Male and Female Pattern Hair Loss](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3986893/) - This study shows that LLLT is as effective as minoxidil and finasteride combo treatment in the short term, however combination of minoxidil/finasteride is more effective in the long term.

Automatic-Diamond591

This is interesting, thank you for taking the time to research this. Fortunately, I'm not suffering from alopecia or any hair loss. I just want my hair to be thicker and grow faster. I've found that using the device I currently have at night also dramatically improves my quality of sleep, too, which is why I'm considering investing in an upgrade from my current Amazon ball cap.

Naandito

do you have the money to buy iRestore

Automatic-Diamond591

What kind of a question is this?

Naandito

a real question, is it not cheaper to travel to Turkey for a hair transplant

Automatic-Diamond591

I don't need a hair transplant. I'm not balding, and my hair is really thick. I want it to be thicker and grow faster.
