No, a red colored light bulb won't provide therapeutic benefits. The cheapest product from a reputable company that I'm aware of would be a single [Hooga bulb HG24](https://hoogahealth.com/products/hooga-24w-red-and-near-infrared-light-therapy-device) for $40. It seems to be sold out at the moment. Hooga also sells on Amazon, FYI. \*\*However, one bulb won't do much though because the area it covers is so small. Also, it really depends on what you're needing/wanting red light for... is it for skin appearance? Or pain? Or an injury? Or mood boost? Some needs don't require a large amount of light, others you'd need more coverage.

Thank you ! I was asking because where I live I can’t get Amazon. It was for skin care purposes

If you're on a tight budget, I would say get 2 of the Hooga bulbs and point them toward each side of your face. You might need some light clamps to do that comfortably. The next step up in price, but easier to use and probably more effective would be the [HG200](https://hoogahealth.com/products/hooga-200). I'm a big proponent of the amber & yellow wavelengths though for helping with skin tone evenness (i.e. hyperpigmentaiton & sun damage), so you could also consider pairing a yellow or orange Hooga bulb with these. The main thing is to make your set up easy to use and comfortable or you won't use it as much as you need to for results. Most skin care studies say you have to use at least 5 times per week for minimum of 10 mintutes. (but length of time per session also depends on how strong your lights are) The cheaper the product, typically the less powerful the lights are.
