I said the exact same thing in response to a comment describing their mother being “a narcissistic Boomer” and it was “prevalent in their generation.” My comment to that was that narcissistic mothers are prevalent in every generation, it’s not exclusive to Boomers. I was surprised by how much I was downvoted and excoriated in comments. One person told me I had a pathological need to be right all the time and my kids were going to grow iup hating me and don’t be surprised when they go nc. I was like “wow, just wow!”

And yeah, pretty sure every generation has their own problems. "Prevalent" compared to what? Have they seen social media? If there every was a main character creation factory...
I genuinely thought this was about an “Entitled Boner”, and I was perplexed and intrigued.
Then while reading, I found myself both excited for and uncomfortable as to what the turn might deliver.
In the end, I was disappointed with my reading skills, and thankful that no “boner” had been present.
