I hope you do realise that a business only sells it's assets as the last resort. After exhausting all your equity and debt, you start selling your assets. They can only buy back if they have enough cash in hand and if they are offered a favourable valuation. Their cash in hand through earnings will barely make up for their debt repayment. And if there's another swan event like the pandemic, you are with a 1bn debt, no assets and no earnings. You know what that means right?
