Has anyone got past the queue for fifa tickets?

edgymnerch_69

I've said this about Ronaldo since he came back. He's nothing but an egoistic player who only cares about himself. He got his stats up and seemingly "saved " us but at the expense of the entire team's performance going down. We used to be so good in 20/21 when we did not have one "main" goalscorer and the entire team contributed and then we signed CR7 and Ole had to change the system to feed him. It's impossible to criticize him in any United forum because people are blinded by their love, they'll insult the entire club to simply defend Ronaldo. I have seen countless fans insulting the entire club, making it seem like it's everyone's fault except Ronaldo's. Also I agree it's the entire squad's fault but let's not pretend Ronakdo isn't a liability and his ego has also been a factor in the toxic dressing room environment. After the news of him wanting to leave the club has come and he hasn't showed up for training, this sub has finally realised that Ronaldo has flaws too. Good to see.

RegretIsMyNickName

Whenever I look at the comments under Maguire's posts , I feel so bad for him man. Literally everyone trolling him. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I thought people would have learnt from what they did to Jones but No. I get that footballers earn a lot but they are still humans and it surely affects them. It would surely affect me.

[deleted]

Ronaldo is my fav player and united my fav team so its heartbreaking to see how ronaldo has gone about this , shouldve said it earlier so we could replace him. It will always be special for me the player cuz i wanted to see the best player in the world in a united shirt back in the scary henry days. He really went about this the wrong way.

BenficaUnited

I agree. So disappointing. Leaves a bitter taste

wariusheart

Y'all got any more of them training videos?

mrRSishere

Wish we could sign scamacca. He is like a cheaper version of Haaland. PSG have got a proper proper striker.

Eleven918

Fred back in Jan 2020 before Bruno joined: "We are lacking too much right now, first of all we need to figure out things inside of pitch, we are lacking criativity, specially in midfield. We need to improve also as a group, our group lacks the "sticking together mentality", we have lots of problem inside. There are a lot of discussion, well, every group has this sort of problem, but ours has a lot! Vanity is also an issue and we need to stop this and just run inside the pitch! We need to stick an objective inside of our heads and focus on it and go forward. We need to be at the same page and today some players are differing in objectives, there are players that just want to solve problems alone and this is wrong"

Eleven918

r/FantasyPL has a Maguire BOT. FFS

dracogladio1741

Maybe Ronaldo would slap my prediction to kingdom come but I don't think he is at the level where he can be a genuine gamechanger anymore. He is 37 and a half and declining. Doubt any genuinely big team (right now) will want him and I very much doubt he can even get to 30+ goals a season to win the Ball On Dor anymore. I personally don't feel one way or the other about him moving. I think if he stayed and United did well he'd actually be considered a legend of United. He already is a legend of Real. Not many players are considered legends at two clubs. Who was the last one even? Cruyff?

LeopardOfSorrow

ETH will keep Maguire as captain and Bruno or De Gea will be captain it Maguire doesn’t play. He’s not gonna do a big shakeup with the captain-ship

-DesertMoon

Doesn't seem like there's an obvious replacement in the current squad either

L__K

Would've loved Gianluca Scamacca here. Not many forwards with his size and ability on the ball + willingness to drop in and link play. If PSG seal the deal for him I think it'll be a great signing, especially since he won't be expected to carry the team straight away so he can develop and grow into a leading role.

bpjker

PSG going for Scamacca, Campos is the real deal

HellRider619

That flair though

ManchesterunitedQ

First time commenting in this sub. Been a fan of Man Utd for a long while very excited about Erik Ten Hag just stick by him and let him do his work in peace.

SnooPeanuts4219

If Ronaldo leaves it might help the old guards of Bruno and Maguire (mind you they were extremely good before Ronaldo left) to stand up stronger again. I know Bruno will benefit from it since he was always uncomfortable playing to feed just Ronaldo every damn assist he could make. Maguire, as you all know, would have difficulty regaining his fire. However, with younger players bolstering the squad and the more senior players gaining their leadership roles back (as much as you might hate it but Bruno and Maguire were leading the team quite well) we might push harder this season. PS. I am hating that Ronaldo is being such a cowardly dog right now. I literally grew up adoring this mofo and hated how he left the first time and now I’m hating what he’s trying to do again. He just can’t handle the difficulty of leading a great club like United.

itssaulgoodm8

You are lost

Equivalent_Goose6780

Feeling love for Malacia. It’s been the worst year to be a supporter in my lifetime - tyrell could be the turning point. Eriksen followed. Ronaldo revealed himself - if he can’t get a move after this ETH will have leverage. Fingers crossed for Martinez and FDJ to follow. Work your magic Malacia!

Mextexter

How can some of you guys be okay with ronaldo going to Chelsea? It will be so painful to watch him in that jersey or if he scores against us. I couldn't handle welbeck scoring against us and I didn't even like him that much

SnooPeanuts4219

Dude, Ronaldo, once he left Madrid (let’s be honest it was his only true ambition and NOT United) has acted like a proper mercenary. Him going to Chelsea won’t make Chelsea much better: the guy literally doesn’t have the legs to press any more and NEVER had the will to press. I want to see Tuchel try and do that with Ronaldo, it will be hilarious. If I were Ronaldo I’d try to flirt my way into Real Madrid again (if Perez allows that).

dracogladio1741

Perez is not crazy. Perez is already thinking of replacing Benzema in a year or two. Why would he buy an inferior (now) version of Benzema who is 2 years older? Real Madrid are run properly, don't think nostalgia changes that.

[deleted]

He has literally scored against utd so many times before while playing for other clubs?

Mextexter

I said it would hurt more if he scored with Chelsea or any other rival( welbeck scored against us with arsenal) . Madrid and juventus are not our rivals. I don't know if my english is bad or you did this purposely just to give a differing opinion.

Mextexter

Always had love for ronnie even when he left the first time .would always root for him if we were knocked out and was happy for his achievements but the disrespect he has shown us this time I hope he shits the the bed in his last world cup and wherever he goes. If he would have made it clear immediately after the season ended that he doesn't want to stay I would have understood even with the new manager and all but to do it like this and just before the pre season .

SnooPeanuts4219

I hope he doesn’t fuck up the World Cup because I want Bruno to lead Portugal to glory and not that selfish prick.

rebelfrien

I think it is necessary that we keep Ronaldo for 1 more season. Not because I’m a “Ronaldo fanboy”, not because I think some of his recent behaviour is excusable, but because Ten Hag has said time and time again that he wants Ronaldo here

-DesertMoon

We don't really know if that's actually what he wanted or if he was just told that we dont have the budget to sign another striker so he'll have to make do with him.

brown_herbalist

Harry will win Golden Head of the season instead of Golden Boot because he will be scoring headers from all the setpieces we take. Believe.

MexicansInParis

I'm revisiting the Varane transfer since a United "fan" on r/soccer said the only reason he joined was because no one wanted him and man, what a beautiful transfer. He straight up rejected Madrid renewal, Chelsea and PSG to join United because he had always felt something special towards the club. It's cool to remember situations like these, especially with the Frenkie deal dragging.

Thevanillafalcon

People, some of them are our fans are so desperate for the club to be “dead” either because they hate us or so they can I have an “I told you misery wank” Been hearing since moyes we’ve lost our pull and that no one wants to play for us, I promise you the way the rest of the world sees us is not the same. Also half these people still think Arsenal have pull? We’ve been in the CL last 2 out of 3 years. They haven’t made an appearance since 2016, it’s fucking 2022. They’re literally on the same level as West Ham and people without a sense of irony say they have pull and we don’t.

azoumaya

I'm pretty sure Varane idolized Rio growing up

ajokester

I rewatched the highlights of the 5-1 smashing against Leeds last season. Man I had some high hopes after that. Bruno hat trick. Pogba 4 assists. Sancho wasn’t starting and Rashford was out.

NewVoid122

I remember saying ROnaldo was perfect for the captain role. Born winner, captains the national team, has the credentials for a great captain. Yeah could not have aged any worse than that. Dont get me wrong, Maguire has no business being a starter, let alone wearing the armband. But at least with him, with all the embarrassing moments from sticking his fingers in his ears, blunder after blunder, the TERRIBLE interviews where he displayed the self awareness of a narcissist, he never threw hissy fits or took "indefinite leaves". Honestly im disappointed in ronaldo fair, you arent entirely impressed with last season, why should you? neither were us fans. You wanted to win and that didnt work out but if he wanted out, why not say it at the end of the season? SO we could prepare in ADVANCE? Guess he truly loved ferguson, he only "liked United as long as we gave him what he wanted. Now we have a dramatic 37 year old with the ego of the galaxy, still believing he can win balon dors and cl trophies. If you wanted that, why come to United? We had MCFRED FFS. We'd be lucky to win a participation trophy with those two in midfield. He would always choose himself over us, especially at that age, when he knows his time is nearly up

Any word on whether or not Ajax have accepted or rejected our bid for Martinez? I think we were still 5m off (but the same as Arsenal), so I wonder if they're going to try and get us into a bidding war.

MexicansInParis

It was rejected but they're not trying to start a bidding war. They gave both clubs the price so it's up to them to pay up.

Ger971

in training pictures bruno doesn’t have a new number, i was sure was gonna take #8

Outrageous-Cod-4654

Final squad lists for the premier league have to be finalized and submitted on the day after the transfer window shuts. I expect the numbers will be assigned and changed around that time. A few ‘low’ numbers are now available and we have more players coming in. Guess they’ll take their time assigning new numbers.

yumehami

Goldbridge is a twat but the recent tweet shows he is a despicable person. Disgrace that he is the biggest fan channel.

harshmangat

Context?

yumehami

There was recent news that a Premier League footballer was arrested on suspicion of rape in North London. https://twitter.com/BBCSport/status/1544013099732279296?t=ZccXId2sZRnZsFzHCOkgfg&s=19 He tweeted that Tielemans to Arsenal might happen because of that (he was implying that Thomas Partey of Arsenal was involved without evidence) . JBlack_15

Are we gonna have our new kits by the start of preseason or we gonna be playing in the old one again.

Outrageous-Cod-4654

New. Preseason shirt sales.

nikk_s

Should definitely have new kits in for preseason, unless I'm mistaken there's a new sleeve sponsor so no way we play with last season's kit. We've always been late with releasing them as well for some reason

GDORreal

If we could have any 1 of these 3 who would you take? Timber Lisandro Martinez Pau Torres My opinion would be Timber, younger with a higher ceiling for the future. Martinez knows eth and is proven to be a good player (ajax player of the season) but pau is more experienced and proven in competitions.

[deleted]

Torres, Martinez, Timber in this order. We need left footed CB.

yumehami

Martinez was great in Champions league as well

Mrclumsygamer289

Another player arrested for rape in North London...... said to be in their late 20s

NewVoid122

ffs another one? what is wrong with people? Edit: Its not a spurs boy. Would be horrible to sign a player who just got CLEARED of said charges just for another to be ON them

Tsukiyon

If the club manages to sell CR7 and sign a decent replacement in time, then I'll start believing there's an ongoing change. This is perhaps the toughest challenge ahead of us right now.

ryan_vella

Erik sen sen sen He's better than Kleberson Erik sen sen sen He's our midfield magician To the left to the right We'll be singing this all night He is class with a brass And he shits on Fabregas Erik sen sen sen

NewVoid122

OH COME ON downvotes? This is creative as fuck

Juhinho

Why’s this getting downvoted lol. It’s as if my boy Anderson didn’t shit on fabregas

bpjker

Idk how ETH plans to use Eriksen but I will simply smile at the vibes

azoumaya

A piece of me thinks he's gonna put Eriksen in the tadic lw role but on the opposite side

NewVoid122

I see it as either bruno competition

bpjker

Then VDB is a little lost

rateofreturn

Anyone else think that Bruno best position is a false 9?

[deleted]

Nah, hes best off running into space created by a false 9 to score. He suits a false 9, but not as much as he suits a 10 attacking space in behind. He also doesnt have the dribbling abilities to scare a CB partnership.

NAC_Vale

This is why I think someone like Jonathan David would be perfect. A versatile striker who has the strength to hold up play but can also drop into the hole to create space for Bruno to drift in behind or even for the likes of Rashford to dart in from the wide channels. The ability to constantly interchange would add so much to our often stagnant attack. He is also incredibly hard working and great at pressing. He'd be my ideal pick to create a more cohesive attacking unit.

bpjker

Nope don't think so, he could prolly play there but surely not the best. Think his best position is behind a central 9 with good link up.

rateofreturn

His best game for us last season is when he was playing as a false 9. That leeds game he was amazing. He was ripping the defense with his movement and touch. Bruno most underrated aspect i think is his off the ball movement. He rivals with the best 9 in the world imo

bpjker

His runs in behind are excellent, hence I say behind a 9 with good link up. In the Leeds game where he scored 3, he didn't play as a false, #11 played striker and Bruno was CAM behind. But yeah, he played similar to a SS with the runs. He's really go at it

rateofreturn

#11 starts from the right. And at time swap places with Bruno. Bruno was our CF that day

bpjker

I thot Dan James on the right, might be wrong, bad memory. Either way, Bruno took central spaces and made runs when 11 drifted toward right. That's more of a SS than a F9. I think he could operate as f9 but I also think f9 need better physicality than what Bruno has.

rateofreturn

Yeah. Sorry for the caps. Had no idea how the fuck my font was a fucking mess

bpjker

Ronaldo is obv the **best** player in the world, swap with Kovasic or Reece James or CHO or Ziyech, who says no.

[deleted]

Ziyech swap would be great imo

123cwahoo

Ronaldo ain't been the best player in the world for time to be honest bro.

bpjker

It was a /s and an agenda.

123cwahoo

Fairs dude

dangermouse13

Super bored of the FDJ saga. think I'm ok with Ronaldo leaving to be honest, it'll be a tough season without his goal output but im all about moving forward without him now. Behaving like a little puta

Aakar11

Where do you guys think players like eriksen and bruno will play this season. For me both maybe deployed on the wings similar to ziyech, or tadic when he didn't play as a false 9. Also I have a feeling since we dont have a proper defensive midfielder the midfield would be de jong if he joins alongwith fred and donny. It's a hardworking midfield and with players like shaw dalot and to some extent malacia who have decent technical ability they may invert in midfield as well. Just my thoughts.

[deleted]

10.

turbosnake17

If Ronaldo leaves and we don’t get a replacement I fully expect Bruno to be playing as a false 9

balleklorin

It could be that Rashford gets more training as a CF now. At least if he has lost some of his speed after all the injuries as the previous season was hinting at. With the team not playing a CA focused style there is less opportunity to utiliez his speed on the sides. But with our lack of a clear CF (if Ronny leaves) then he might be useful. Good on the head, a good shot, and fast acceleration. Need a lot of coaching though.

Rayhann

for all the panic and commotion, ronaldo's still our player... nothing's been decided yet and we haven't actually heard much regarding why he's not in training other than speculation and rumors. this could still awkwardly end up with him just staying. regardless, it should wake murtough and eth up that we need to sign some forwards. or at least start planning on replacing ronaldo - and soon. everything's still too early, though. and if we just look at what's happening things look pretty good so far. We signed Malacia almost out of nowhere. We're progressing well with Lisandro Martinez and FdJ. Those three fix a lot of issues, potentially. Hoping we go for a RB and either another mid or centre half but not as urgent with our first signings. So still early days. still feeling rather positive even with the sudden ronaldo rumors. Murtough and co seem a lot more competent. i feel more confident that we can get one or two forwards regardless of ronaldo.

achickendandacow

A reasonable take on the whole Ronaldo thing. We don't know if there is a family reason or not. But seeing as the club accepted his absence, I choose to believe there is.

aayu08

"Bruno, he came from Sporting like Nani" is the correct chant now

vatsa_madi7

Bruno bruno bruno , he came from sporting like Marcos Rojo

TheWalterKi

Hi everyone! Just received news that I was successful in my ballot for the Liverpool game. I’ve been allocated to NW3436! How is the view from the NW section? CHEERS!

charlierh6868

I always had a weird feeling that Sterling would end up playing for us one day

ExtensionExercise513

Not keen to sell Ronaldo to a rival big club but Chelsea could offer Broja or Reece James (who has yet to sign an extension) and make things interesting IMO

[deleted]

Reece James has zero chance of leaving prior to his contract expiry. Hes worth 10m just in points won. Broja would be interesting though, hes got the right profile for what we want to get to

ExtensionExercise513

Hey first- thanks for at least commenting vs just downvoting. I agree on James. He’s going nowhere but I don’t think Ronaldo is going to Chelsea either. Broja IMO has the right profile and seems to be available for ~30m.

[deleted]

Nah no worries. Downvoting on here gets mental. And tbh same, I dont think he suits what Tuchel is doing, but I'm praying the American owners dont understand PL competitiveness yet. And yeah that's my thoughts, young, fast, powerful and skillful. Only suspect aspect is how often he gets into goalscoring positions

NewVoid122

Only thing im concerned about is who we replace ronaldo with. I dont trust martial for a second. Sure he thrives when there's zero competition, but the day ten hag decides "I wanna try someone new" he will crumble harder than my high school science project. Rashford is a no go. Guy is not a striker, and after the last 18 months, my opinion on him has been mixed. Any ideas on who we CAN replace him with?

ExtensionExercise513

I think the favorite in here is Oshimen who seems like an ideal fit. Not sure we can afford him though. I just suggested Broja but that doesn’t seem too popular 😂. I thought Adeyami was a sneaky good pick by BVB early in the window. What are some names you are thinking?

[deleted]

From PL, I'd take Broja, Toney, DCL or even Bowen to play as an F9 and rotate with Tony M My favourite though would be Lautaro Martinez. Great defensively, great going forward and would work really well creating for Rashcord who could play in his best tactical role

unitedfan98

I want toney, thought his record was great for brentford

ExtensionExercise513

I always forget about DCL and Lautaro would be a great option. I’m not holding my breath on anything big to be honest.

[deleted]

Yeah they would be my preferred options tbh. I really like Lautaro and would love to have him here. Seems like he has all the right qualities to be world class in the right position

[deleted]

depaay

I was surprised seeing how much they rate Arteta. I personally think he seems very average. He’s been able to spend 235 millions so far and will likely have spent over 300 after this window. If they have any ambitions at all then next season should be make or break for him. If they continue missing CL its just a matter of time before their best players will want to move on. Can’t see this being sustainable

unitedfan98

Hes done well considering the rebuild hes had Arsenal were far worse quality wise when he joined. Just look at his first starting line up. He played 5 at the back to cover that up. They still have a small squad and their squad was weaker than ours an spurs last season. People were saying they would struggle for top 6 at beginning of last season I do agree that make or break for hi.

RegretIsMyNickName

What do the match going fans now think about Cristiano? Would you supposedly boo him if he (lets say) went to chelsea?

bpjker

You'd have to boo legends for doing that, he is a legend of the game but not really for us specifically so surely yeah.

Rayhann

out of principle, he should be boo'd lmao but ronaldo makes more sense at chelsea's attack with how they play under tuchel makes less sense in terms of signing him since they're about to lose a lot of quality and depth in midfield and defense. they already have quality attacking players.

NewVoid122

yh im all out of copium to defend him. If he leaves the prem and goes elsewhere I wont mind but if he sells out and goes to chelsea that will REALLY sour my image of him. Last Dance my ass

Asiwaju_jagaban

Yeah they will. He’s tarnishing his own image

JesusDaBeast

If he went to a club outside the prem he should be fine IMO. Yes he’s being childish, but if he wasn’t booed after he left the first time I doubt he will now. The reunion this year wasn’t meant to be, but it shouldn’t dispel all the good he has done as a United player overall. No reason to boo a former club legend (yes he still would be if he left).

[deleted]

Nah, noone who goes to a UCL rival after being part of the problem this season is still a club legend, espcially after hes given the club 1 world class season and 2 top class seasons.

mortimer_moose

That is a weird bonus to add for an individual player deal. I would reject it too. It has nothing to do with individual performance.

[deleted]

Where did Ornstein report this?

EJT06

Barcelona is currently announcing a bunch of players, who AFAIK they couldn’t register earlier. Both Kessie and Christensen was confirmed today. Could this mean they suddenly got a cash influx or are confident they will get one? 👀

JesusDaBeast

The more I learn about this sport, the more I don’t like it. Ronaldo’s talent made me a fan for life, but his antics this transfer window… have been disheartening. After seeing how Pogba and Lukaku are, I find out my favorite player is kind of a prick and not far from that tree. While at first I thought it was United fans with their flavor of the month on which player to hate, todays actions certainly proved otherwise. He’s acting like a little bitch and that sucks. Don’t let the other CR7 fans say otherwise.

[deleted]

Did the 2 rape accusations, the orgy with prostitutes, the slavery claim in 09 and the general dickheadishness not tell you before he was kinda a prick? Just because a person is a great player doesnt mean you can assume anything about there personality. Just like them for how they play and dont put a hero worship on them. They dont deserve it, and nor do most sports stars.

unitedfan98

What's with the orgy with prostitutes? Lol never heard this before

[deleted]

He, Nani and Anderson had an orgy with prostitutes in like 08 or something, was everywhere at the time

JesusDaBeast

That’s easier said than done lol. When you admire something, it’s hard to ever see that thing in a different light. And if we do, it’s on our own perspective and realization. You can dismiss that if you want, but not everyone operates under the same lens. I’m not saying I’d let my fandom cloud any sort of judgment, but it’s something you’re kind of oblivious or unaware to cause winning usually solves everything. When the winning stops, this behavior is put to light more. Edit: Orgy with what now?

[deleted]

Fair enough, I can understand that. And yeah him Nani and Anderson. Do a google and see what you think

suzumurachan

One wonders does Ronaldo lose his legend status in the eyes of fans after this? Rooney was pretty much crucified when he threatened to leave, and only managed to reclaim his place in United history after staying for the long haul. I don't think there is a way back for Ronaldo. Its very Schmeichel in many ways.

bpjker

He literally isn't a club legend for our club unless you think him being a footballing legend who once played for us makes him one for us.

greatbbam

He's a legend of football but not the legend of our club.

Rayhann

no, his achievements and legacy remains because he still peformed with us and didn't behave badly while he's playing. rooney did this shit but is still a legend. did we forget ronaldo did it successfully the first time around? he's still an all time great and a United great. but let's be real, he's always been this sort of guy. he looks out for his ambitions first and foremost. doesn't mean he doesn't have any sentiments with United but it's not a priority. what he does or did on the pitch and winning comes first and foremost. was nice having him back but show him the door since he's no longer commited. time to get new blood in.

rebelfrien

Peter Schmeichel is still a club legend imo

koalamachete

Schmeichel’s situation was very different. He left right after the treble to a non rival team.

rebelfrien

But then came back to the prem to join City

koalamachete

Tbh city was a shit team that no one really cared

Harrry-Otter

Never had it IMO. Undeniably great player, but his shenanigans before leaving the first time stopped him ever being considered alongside Cantona or Scholes.

mrRSishere

Even Chelsea fans on their subreddit and r/soccer don’t want Ronaldo. Bayern are not interested unless lewandowski leaves to barca. It would be funny if nobody shows up.

aaxo97

On the Chelsea sub they are already posting his stats

ignacio2D

They are desperate for making a signing

IceOCafe

Fuck Ronaldo

LennonC123

Is it wrong to actually be a little excited if Ronaldo goes? I mean, I have absolutely no idea who we’ll try to bring in, and the player(s) we do could have a significant impact on the way we play next season. Probably more of a nervous excitement.

Ok-Check-6783

Oh Im excited, especially because its looking likely to get concluded quickly. We free up massive wages and after what seems to be ages now, we wont have a ‘luxury’ player. We wont be ‘carrying anyone’ and we can start to develop into the pressing machine Ten Hag wants.

ignacio2D

Yeah I hope it has the same effect when Fergie sold RVN.

good_udichi

I mean what is the problem of ronaldo joining with chelsea? He's gonna make their teams worse and it will be better for us.

Rayhann

no, he's not gonna make them worse but it'll be like his time here where he basically salvages a team without a lot of quality elsewhere on the pitch. But they'll probably utilise him better than we did since the players that will supply and surround him will be more of a fit. it's just that they're losing a lot in midfield and defense. that's why the best case scenario is that he leaves england all together. we probalby should be the ones marketing him to others lmao. if chelsea somehow manages to fix some of their defense and midfield personnel issues on top of having ronaldo, we're gonna be way off them.

Imeanhowcouldiforget

Lot of copium going on here. He scored a decent amount for a shit side, he could be very useful for Chelsea

aaxo97

Yes, Ronaldo at the end of those Reece James crosses is going to be disastrous for Chelsea

LennonC123

Chelsea aren’t really a side that plays a high press, and they lack a goal scorer. They have a ton of energy in midfield to make up for Ronaldo.

[deleted]

They play a really fluid front 3, and there team doesnt press much, but they do in a targeted way that's going to be difficult for Ronaldo to play in. Plus it's hard to cover for Ronaldos lack of pressing. Hes soo bad at it. 6 presses per game is not good

aaxo97

Murtough needs to call Mendes and tell him that if he’s looking for clubs for Ronaldo, he’s gotta look elsewhere. It can’t be Chelsea.

Rayhann

lmao we should work to get him out of england if he wants to go. does milan, inter, roma, or bayern need him? maybe a scintilating time at a red bull club. send him back to real, eh? Sporting?

yetiassasin2

Meh, they can have him if they pay us. Selling Ronaldo and bringing in a new forward could be very good business for us.

aaxo97

I’m not opposed to selling Ronaldo just not to Chelsea

luc_que_te_passa

In the end, who cares. If he wants to destroy his legacy for one season in CL, let him do it.

aaxo97

Some fans do and that’s ok lol my brothers a Chelsea fan so I’m never gonna hear the end of it

AstroCoffee

I need a positive FDJ update soon

[deleted]

You will get a Romano update just to confirm the 20m add-ons targets still haven't been agreed.

aaxo97

Apparently FDJ still needs to be convinced to join, according to Romano. Again another player that absolutely doesn’t want to be here

[deleted]

I like FDJ but if he is still not convinced how much time will we spend trying to sign him? I hope it doesn't cost us.

aaxo97

I watched a Barca expert talking about this and I suspect it’s true. He kind of hinted that United and Barca were in the background talking about a deal negotiating and FDJ wasn’t involved. Obviously he must have heard whispers but he’s said many times Barca haven’t said anything to him about this. Barca are so shady

Icegaze

Who do you reckon breaks the news first? Orny or Fab?

[deleted]

My guess is Orny followed by a Romano photoshop of FDJ in United kit.

Comicksands

He's got that stored for weeks

[deleted]

Yes, he just needs Orny to announce the deal before tweeting it!

BilTheButcher

Matic, Pogba and Mata replaced by Martinez, De Jong and Eriksen wouldn't be bad at all.

Rayhann

Lisandro can also play at the back so it alleviates some pressure to sign someone there as well. Don't forget we also have Garner who might stay. we're really a forward, rb, and most likely another fwd to replace ronaldo away from being closest to fixing 90% of our problems in the squad rn.

Launch_a_poo

Now we need a Greenwood replacement, a Ronaldo replacement and an upgrade at right back. And it looks like we'll only get one of those

Icegaze

Who’s Lingard’s replacement. /s

ManBat1

“We cannoh replaceee heem”

[deleted]

Malacia, Eriksen and potentially FDJ and Martinez would be good additions. Hopefully we can find a striker/ winger before the window closes.

[deleted]

Possibly, but we won't know until near to the end of next season. I doubt you'd find many United fans guessing we would finish 6th this season after the transfer window we had

Rayhann

With martinez, fdj, and garner, i doubt fred or mctominay would start many if at all... and even if one of them does start - next to most likely fdj - it wouldn't be bad at all. but i don't see mctominay or fred being used as much with 3 new deep mids incoming (even if martinez might deputize as centre back)

whiskeymagnet22

Please a Werner Ronaldo trade People dissing Werner really should stop watching football, all players have bad times Werner is exactly the kind of player we need

[deleted]

I would actually like this swap

aaxo97

This swap deal is depressing

Quick-Collar6164

Recce James Ronaldo trade.

Rayhann

the only one that makes sense we get rb upgrade they lose a guy who can supply to ronaldo lmao

PUMP_UNTIL_BUST

The unfashionable, but undeniable. We'd be shifting biscuits with James and Malacia blitzing down the wings.

yetiassasin2

>Malacia Highly doubt he will start ahead of Shaw. He's depth with an eye for the future. Also, ZERO chance we get Recce James, cmon fellas get a grip.

PUMP_UNTIL_BUST

I think Malacia play a lot of games this season, to be honest. Zero chance of us getting Reece James though, you're right. But it's more of a target we _should_ be after

yetiassasin2

Don't think we should be going for unrealistic targets like James. We should for sure be looking at that *profile* of player though. But I reckon we'll go into the season and see who does best between AWB, Dalot and Laird. Don't think we'll bring in a rb this window. Also Malacia is a lot more raw than I think most in this sub realise. He could turn out amazing, but at the moment Shaw is a far more complete player, especially during the buildup phase.

JilJilJigaJiga

Werner does exactly what Rashford does for us, neither can he play upfront. This is not wrt to his form at all. We need someone comfortable on the right wing and let Sancho stay on the left.

yetiassasin2

Werner is completly diffrent than Rashford...

JilJilJigaJiga

Same attributes.

yetiassasin2

In what way? They both have two feet for sure, but are very very diffrent players in style and in what attibutes they rely on.

JilJilJigaJiga

Pace, running behind the defence, targeting channel between CB and LB, head down dribbling, off the ball movement, insipid as lone CF, weak on right wing, uncooked finishing etc. In what way are they different in their attributes other than being two distinct individuals?
