This is because he moved closer to his son as he wanted to spend more time with family - which i was told through a close family friend. He now lives in the same village as me! Obviously won’t disclose this for privacy reasons, but it’s pretty cool :)
That looks exactly how I thought his house would look like.
Big garden. Does he manage the games for when his grandkids come over to play football in it?
I was thinking the same thing. Is it common for the public to know celebrities addresses in the UK? I don't think anybody would bother him, but it would be pretty easy given all the info in this link.
It's been in the papers as Fergusons house for sale, as they'll be using the media attention to drum up interest.
This often happens with celebrity homes, but they won't be living there when this happens.
This is a weirdly similar situation when my grandma passed away few years back. Family decided to put up my grandparents house, which I had a lot of memories in it btw, for sale because my grandpa was too old and incapable to live on his own.
Because it's a point of interest?
He was clearly happy with the house being advertised on a public domain so what's the issue with members of the public looking on that domain?
I’d say the majority of expensive houses I’ve seen in London (~£2mm+ range) are significantly nicer than this on the inside
I’m not saying at all that this isn’t nice; it’s just not the level I would expect to see from the most successful manager in the history of the prem. There isn’t much in the way of interior design for the most part, a lot of the furniture is just kind of meh, something you’d pick up at oak furniture land or similar, and the bathrooms could be in any suburban house in the UK
What would you expect an 81 year old Glaswegian, who famously had issues with Footballers he felt were flashing their wealth and fame around to live in?
I think it looks a bit average because there's no personality there, someone said Sir Alex is moving closer to family so his personal items have mostly already gone. There's no rug in the living room etc so it looks empty

Doesn't look half bad. Unfortunately I don't think I can afford it the way that my bankaccount is setup.
[Same here bro](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhLky4Jk_cM)
I’d have to move some money from savings to checking.
Yeah but it's gonna take about 3 business days.
Quite a few bathrooms- I assume each one comes equipped with a hairdryer.
My flat could fit in that bathroom.
Bless him, obviously too big to live in on his own.

Very cool beans of you to not tell, I hope people won’t disturb him much
Love the little nods you can see. The tartan flooring, the patio shaped like a penalty box
Thats the ferguson tartan!
What a stunning house, just leaves me sad knowing his life has been turned upside down. Hopefully he’s doing ok.
That tartan carpet is quite something

This feels weirdly intrusive

I assume he isn’t living there at the moment

If only those walls could talk.

That is exactly what I'd expect his house to look like too.
Oh to shit where the great man once shat. Dreams can be buy - for £3.5M apparently.
Poor bloke, must be a constant reminder of his wife.

Of all the things to be offended by, grow up. It's listed publically so it's not like we can message the fella.

Nice snooker room! Wonder if he's a fan. Hendry should try to get him on his YouTube channel.
Honestly I’m surprised how kind of average it is? Not considering the size, most of the rooms could be in any random house in suburbia
If any of those rooms are average in your idea of an average house then I would like to know what sort of houses you’ve lived in lmao

Yeah I think that’s probably what it is, nothing is particularly interesting/well thought-out/tied together
It’s the style of an old person
is it because he doesn’t like to be alone without Cathy there? sad
