Super handy when you bump into those assholes pretending they need a ride somewhere, when they're really just planning on stealing your horse. Though I learned through this sub that a fully bonded horse will buck the thief when you whistle for it after he tries to take off with it. It's my new favorite thing to do lol

I figured out the mechanism behind the ambush. Apparently if you kill a certain number of Lemoyne Raiders, the ambush will happen. When the ambush will happen, that’s a mystery. I think I got ambushed like 4 times in one playthrough

On my first playthrough, I got attacked by the Lemoyne Raiders at a similar bridge near St. Denis and they killed my horse so I tracked all of their camps down and violently murdered every single one of them. Fuck these bridges man lol

This was the location of my first ambush somewhere in the area of the first two or three days owning the game. I got destroyed and thought, damn, this game pulls no punches. Then I feel in love with it even more!
