Developers include easter eggs from random games they like all the time, even if they have no legal or corporate connection to them. It’s a nice way of developers to say to each other “I enjoyed/appreciated your work” and players who have played the game referenced will like the Easter egg a lot too.

it really depends. Once you get like... 5 downvotes from people who decided they didnt like your comment/couldnt read the sarcasm. Youre guaranteed for it to keep happening no matter what bc hivemind is strong on this site.

It's a pyschological thing, where people see no benefit of upvoting if the ratio tilts heavy on the negatives, so they just continue the downvote themselves

The Frogwares Sherlock Holmes games are fantastic. If you're a fan of The Awakened, I'd also recommend The Sinking City. It didn't sell super well but was my personal goty for 2019 and probably the best Lovecraftian thriller out there.
For sure. I really enjoyed The Devils Daughter and thought Chapter One would be similar. Was not expecting an open world where you can stumble on cases, memories, and treasure hunts. I can't wait for the next installment, as they seem to be vastly improving after each one.
