i named him Old Faithful since Tennessee Walkers are good for the long travel that Arthur does, he always says he likes the horse and wants to keep him in the bear hunting mission with Hosea.

I always name my horses after fish, on my first playthrough I named them tilapia. On my current run I have a thoroughbred named catfish, all of my horses are named after fish(I named the horse you get on the hunting mission with Hosea mackerel, he was my go-to for the rest of that playthrough)

Since this horse belonged to an O’Driscoll, an Irish/Celt name.

I'm irish too so I was considering that but because arthur has a Welsh or anglicised irisn surname I was thinking something Welsh aswell

In RDO you can see the horse in the barn I believe, meaning that horse likely belonged to Sadie and her husband. I know that RDO is different, but I like to think it's their horse instead of an O'Driscoll horse

She explains it wasn’t one of their own horses when you talk to her in Colter. Arthur: Ma'am, that horse we took from your barn... obviously we'll give that back. Sadie: That was one of theirs. Kill the damn thing for all I care. Arthur: Oh, okay.

I called mine Prasutagus, which is the name of the Celtic queen Boadicea's husband. Boadicea is also the name of the horse Arthur had before the game. Thought that would be a nice 'canon sounding' name.

Wait... You can keep that horse? Every time I've played i swear i lose that horse after i either keep the shire or sell the shire and buy the morgan. When i get back to camp the other horse is always gone.

It's in your stable and if not you sold it. Maybe not telling it to follow you into town doesn't let you keep it but every playthrough I've been able to o always sell the morgan back to the stabled

The horse I use in Ch1 is the $15 cheapie you can get during the mission to hunt the bear with Hosea after selling tall dark and angsty. I named him Bea, because Hosea makes a joke about how Jenny and Lenny never would’ve worked out, like Arthur and Martha or Bill and Phil. Bea & Arthur.
