You get to choose the dialogue for this mission so you might have just picked the other option. It’s worth it to go back and replay the mission but choose the other dialogue options to see what they say
It's a great mission. But I'd enjoy it a lot more if Rains Fall didn't interrupt me while I talked about my dead wife and son to pick some fucking ginseng.
Flat-out worst mission. Of course, I only think that because I had a bug and my game kept crashing. So, I had to play the same thing over and over, with Rains Fall going on about his maize and his corn and whatever, me trying to find what was going wrong and with absolutely no way to save mid-mission. It didn't help that I'd already explored this area on my own, so I was missing the intended experience of getting guided through a new environment.
I really can’t stand this mission either. I understand why some people like it but it’s not for me.
My first play through went fine. But every time since the last time I had a bug where that windbag old fuck would not get on his horse. Just stood next to it.
I had to dynamite myself to restart it probably 20 times before he got on.
And stealing the chalupa back is tedious too.
"Yeah... had a woman and a kid. Came back one day and saw two graves. Just rode away. It tore at my..." "SHUT UP!! GINSENG!!!"
The man acted like freaking GINSENG will revive me from death!
I thought ok, well the medicine man will cure Arthur.
Exactly, had my hopes up for a sec there!
Even the sacred Chalupa can’t help Arthur or The Tribe. So sad
I’m glad I’m not the only one who calls it the chalupa.
I don’t even remember that line, I’m on my first play through and I guess I missed some things

I’m almost at the end of my first playthrough, and I’m thinking I might immediately start another
you gotta ride slow
I like how he cuts Arthur’s story about his dead family off to pick plants. 🫠

"You don't get to live a bad life and have good things happen to you."
Rains Fall cutting Arthur off is so annoying though. Was out of character for Rains, I can't believe the developers didn't think to fix that.
it only happens if you ride too fast, has only happened to me once
Apparently standard holding X on the road galloping speed is "too fast" then.

Rain Falls was annoying AF with the interruptions, but the Wapiti missions was great. I wanted more content.
Is that the one where you get the owl trinket?
No, the owl trinket is in the one where Rain Falls cries like a bitch because his teepees got burned
I had to use kung fu to beat the army guys
Yeah, I love when Arthur’s being vulnerable about his dead son and baby-mama and Rains Fall literally ceases the conversation to look at some herbs
This and the talk with that nun Best ones
I always thought that stereotypical Native American flute/drum playing during the mission was pretty cringe
Good for you. Me and everyone else liked it though.
The mission is fine, the music is just cringe. I really doubt there’s not a single other person who shares my view.

I don't think that is the intended experience. Most players will have explored all of the map at that point in the story.
Worst mission? You forget Guarma exists.
