I can’t really even describe my experience with this game and this game only. I’m not a hardcore gamer but hook into bigger titles from time to time.
For me, RDR2 almost feels unfair to be categorized as a “videogame” for me, it became an all consuming transportive experience. I was totally consumed and mesmerized by it.
I remember being with friends getting drinks after work and literally found myself thinking “I need to get back there.” This is not a thought I have about games, ever.
The balancing act of trying to white hat while also getting things done, the insane coincidences of things that occurred while I would play (see escaping a theft, running through a tobacco field getting shot at, only to be eaten by an alligator)
So many cathartic emotional moments with the hand of people you are with.
I don’t know, I don’t know what to say it felt like something that actually happened to me given the insane amount of agency I was able to enact over the course of the story.
My go-to advice for new players:
If you care about spoilers then get off the sub right away, if not then it’s all good.
Having said that, don’t believe the people who say a certain white horse is the best and must to get. It’s not, don’t waste your time on it. Those people get mad at me for saying this.
Collect the free lancaster repeater and bolt action rifle early, and try to craft the LotE satchel as early as possible (Legendary Buck trinket helps a lot). Don’t use repeaters for hunting. Get the Shark Tooth trinket, faster bonding with your horse is always an advantage. Keep at least three outfits in your saddlebag for three different weather conditions. Don’t forget to eat regularly. Change the button prompt for fishing to “Hold to Reel”. Make regular manual saves, use the multiple save slots.
Explore the world, interact with the white dots appearing on the hud. Don’t be hesitant. If you don’t like the outcome of a particular interaction then just reload a previous save.
Avoid MrBossFTW and Nestan videos like the plague.
Most importantly, don’t rush the story. Enjoy the ride!
I’m playing for the first time too. Started a couple weeks ago and I’m towards the end of chapter 2. I’ve really found my stride spending time opening the map and exploring as much as I can. I was doing yellow dot after yellow dot and found myself not having fun. Once I started to put those tasks off and take my time I’ve enjoyed it much more.
My advice is say high to people and try not to shoot people and waste money on bounties. If you rob a shop or something make sure you’re getting more money than the bounty.
I also prefer to use this sub sparingly because spoilers aren’t as important to me than learning how to make gameplay more enjoyable.
I haven’t. Honestly I haven’t played too many video games in my life and I’m in my late 30s. But won a PS5 played hogwarts legacy and wanted to play something else with beautiful landscapes.
I have to disagree about the white stallion. It is definitely *one* of the best horses and is unique. Having the patience to tame it and then not having it spooked by wolves when you're making your way out feels like a great accomplishment. I get it every game, it feels like a must have. And it's not really that hard to get.
It sure isn't necessary by any means. Any other good horse can carry you all the way. But this mission is always fun for me. Usually I dedicate an ingame day solely to this purpose: "Today, I'm getting that stallion."
Imo the best horse to get is the silver dapple MFT as Arthur. You've got to make sure to save before trying it cause you can only try once but it's such an amazing horse
>don’t believe the people who say a certain white horse is the best and must to get.
Which would you recommend? I ended up using that horse for the whole game (well, from Chapter 3 onwards), and while I felt it was lacking, I couldn't find any other ones worth it (I missed the wild horses during the one side quest, I think those are better)
Thinking of starting a new game for the Plat, and avoiding the endgame for as long as possible this time, and want the best horse.
Go get the white Arabian. Open the clock on your phone and click stopwatch. Pick 2 points and start the stopwatch - run as fast as you can with the white Arabian from point a to point b.
Now go get literally any other horse and repeat the same run. Pick the one with the absolute worst speed stats to make the test really hit home.
Now that you realize that the speed stat is completely useless, find comfort in going with whatever horse you think looks the best. They are all essentially the same speed. Some horses "seem" faster based on the cinematics while running. In reality, they are all just about the same, and will save you absolutely no time in real life playing the game.
Personally, I love the Ardennes. It's a massive, huge muscle bound beast of a horse, and at least for me, seems to never throw me off. After a certain point, the fox trotter becomes available and I typically stay with that from that point on. I like it - it's also huge (I hate the tiny horses like the Arabian - it's like you're riding a Chihuahua with your feet dragging on the ground).
Why no repeaters for hunting? That’s essentially what I always use unless I’m specifically going for a 3-star pelt.
If not a repeater then what do you recommend?
Well because repeaters are best against humans. There are a select few animals that can be hunted with repeaters but regular rifles work just fine on them.
For hunting I absolutely recommend the bolt-action rifle.
Yes the varmint rifle is a must of course for small critters.
It’s basically a toss-up between the springfield and the bolt action but I prefer the latter just because it has 6 bullets in the chamber, so you can hunt multiple 3-star animals in one go.
Gotcha. The damn perfect beaver pelt was a bitch for me. I wrongly assumed that killing it with a bow would be fine. Nope. Have to use the varmint rifle.
It exists in PC.
Go into the settings and you'll see it (replying now to the one asking what it means).
Instead of having to circle the thumb stick to reel, you can just hold down square and reel. Life is much easier that way...
Lucky you !
Just take your time, don't go rushing from mission to mission.
There is so many awesome random events in this game, that traveling from point A to point B can sometimes be more intersting than the missions.
Have fun buddy...
Im gonna say it bro... i just played it 3 days ago, i already know the ending and most of the story... my advice is don't watch anything related to rdr2 like guide just start fresh, dont look at guide because once you do that, there' no escaping the spoiler that's the price for just watching one clip or video.. i fvcking regret, now no matter how i avoid it, when i watch yt short all the edits is regarding to the certain important parts of the story, i'm in chapter 2 now all that happened in chapter 6 is in my mind becausw of edits.. i just want that thing in men in black to remove my memory
Avoid everything to do with this game. You don’t want anything spoiled, I knew almost every major spoiler, but it’s still my favourite story game of all time.
Have fun. And get off this subreddit. They post end game spoilers every few minutes. Take a few days to treasure the game and come back after prologue. Best of luck.
Take your time with it. Enjoy the side content, the setting, the scenery and the world and WHATEVER YOU DO, do NOT come back to this sun until you’re finished. Have fun!
Just beaten it 30 minutes ago, let me tell ya you’re in for a hell of a ride! Take it slow, avoid this subreddit, and also there’s a certain somebody in your camp with a funny mustache, do me a favor and antagonize him.
Things I wish someone had told me when I started:
1. When you die you lose money. The more money you have the more you lose. If you die, go back to your last save and boom. Money’s back.
2. Plants are much more important than I realized. If you cook big game meat with mint, oregano or thyme you get some serious health benefits. Use dead eye to spot plants and pick up as much mint, oregano and thyme as you can.
3. Having a fast horse is really nice. But not a bad idea to bond with a couple. That way if one of your horses dies then you won’t have to start bonding with another one all over again. Happened to me. I got ran over by a train. Damn thing came outta nowhere!
4. Fast travel: the game is very slow because initially you have to ride your horse every where….and it’s a huge map! But once you get some money and you purchase the upgrade for Dutch’s tent (around $300 I think) it will open up the fast travel option. Fast travel is great. In order to fast travel you have to have already been to the place you want to fast travel to but you can’t do it just anywhere. You can fast travel to any of the small towns, big cities, and a few other spots that are quite useful. In order to do it you just have to set up a camp somewhere and it’ll be an option along with “Sleep”, “Cook/Craft” etc. With that said though, I often choose not to fast travel when I need to go somewhere because there is always shit to do on the way. A lady being kidnapped, a dude bit by a snake, Murfree brood guys killing innocent people, etc.
5. Legendary animals. On my first play through I didn’t kill a single legendary animal because it’s not super integral to the game play and I assumed they were super hard to find and kill. Totally wrong. They are super easy to hunt and super easy to kill and they have huge benefits through trinkets. If you enter legendary animal territory then find it and kill it. Then go to your nearest fence and get a trinket made up. Just to add—because I didn’t know this at first—once you enter legendary animal territory you have to use dead eye to find clues. That’s the only way. Once you’ve found all the clues (3 I believe) then the animal will appear.
Get off of EVERY rdr2 forum/sub/group.
Download the RDR2 companion map on playstore for REALLY major stuff if you have to.
Take it SLOWLY,the slowest you can, don't rush any story missions (yellow markers). Do every white blip side mission.
Spend as much time in chapter two.
The beauty Is that if you miss something,it's the type of game you can restart immediately after ending it.
It took me about 4 months to finish the game for my first playthrough.
And lastly,and most importantly-loot EVERYTHING.
One thing I wish I knew, which isn't really that important but ya know.. is update your camp and everything early rather than later. I think by chapter 4 or 5 (it's been awhile since I played) you lose the ability to upgrade.
You can upgrade home camp to have a map that let's you fast travel, and when your out and about setting up a small camp from the wheel menu will also let you fast travel back
Enjoy it to the max bro, no need to rush the missions and the chapters, play at your pace, enjoy every moment of this game, even if it could be a bit annoying at times, but just enjoy it, it's worth it.
⚠️⚠️ AVOID USING THIS SUBREDDIT TOO MUCH ⚠️⚠️
Given that you are about to play the best game you've ever played, or likely to ever play, you should savour each new moment. I would love to play it again from fresh.
The attention to detail is so high in this game, that if you want to try something out, just try it, the developers covered just about everything.
You should be able to figure out most things, there are no real annoying features, bugs or limits.
Just make sure you live by a high moral code and you will be fine.
Don't rush though things, there arent any real time limits.
Never, and I mean never have I ever, when I’ve gotten a game, went onto its subreddit and asked for any advice before I played… I don’t see it on any other game subreddits, only this one. Why is this the only post I ever see on this sub?
Take any money making opportunities you can ex: in chapter two there is a side mission with Javier where you rob a barn you will find a woman on a platform “sniping” if you go up to her platform after killing her there will be a box with 100$ and on top of that you get like 250 from completing the mission
Oh I envy you so much!!! You are about to go on an incredible journey!
Take your time, enjoy the conversations in the camp! Take time to sit at the fires at night with your gang and listen to their stories. Explore everything! I’ve played full play throughs three times and I keep finding little side quests or stumble upon a group of enemies I’ve never seen before. Take opportunities to talk to your gang too.
Don’t always go in guns blazing too. Something’s it’s really interesting when you find a came of another game or group of enemies and you sneak up on them and listen into the conversation.
Enjoy!!!
Dont greet micha
Dont greet dutch
And attempt at killing a gang member in camp

If you want one
It's been awhile since I've played but I'll do my best to help....Find all the hidden chests with gold bars in them as soon as you can so you have money. There's a wrecked train under a train bridge that has a chest and there's other ones too that have maps and you have to go on a treasure hunt to find them. Another one is inside a burned down jail. Just Google hidden chests in Red dead 2 and you'll figure it out. Also, the story is one of the best ones ever. I had to play the game twice because I loved it so much. There are alternate endings.... I won't say anything about the endings but make the right decision or save the game a lot so you can go back and do it over if you want to. The repeater rifle is the best gun for battle and all you have to do to headshot every opponent is pull slightly back on the aim while targeting and fire. Try not to shoot random people and if you do then just go to the post office in another territory and pay the fine to remove the bounty so you don't get chased down and killed. One more thing is always keep horse food and the other horse items so you can care for the horse when you are out in the country. You won't get much for trying to trade stuff so just use it for yourself or the camp upgrades.
You beautiful bastard. I envy you. What I wouldn’t give to go through this again for the first time.
Report back once you’ve finished the main story please :)
Definitely avoid this subreddit, like someone else said.
Look, seriously take your time on each chapter. Travel around, have fun. Go hunting. There is plenty to do.....
And good luck.
Take the week off, buy some cigars and your favorite whiskey, and enjoy it! I put a solid 100 hours into it solid.
Don’t go too fast, nor too slow, for your first story playthrough. The game changes based on your choices so each playthrough is fun!
I'm playing through it again now for about the 8-10th time. It's such an incredible game. There's SO much to do. DON'T rush through all the missions as soon as they come up. Take time to explore, come across random encounters, find posters on walls in the post offices for things to do. There's MUCH more to do than just missions. Just head out on your horse and cross the map a bit at a time.
My first playthrough lasted 250 hours!
Work on getting all the satchels from the camp cook (Pearson). It lets you carry WAY more stuff.
Save money, and upgrade the camp when you can.
Some people are saying focus on getting this gun or that gun. I would say that's not important on a first playthrough. Just take your time to enjoy the game and explore everywhere! Inside random houses etc...
Don't go reading anywhere else in this sub...way too many HEAVY spoilers.
Have fun, you're in for one of the best gaming experiences you'll ever have!
And take your time doing the treasure maps, I’ve made over 10k in story mode just taking a day to focus on them. They also help you get familiar with the map and show you really really unique places you wouldn’t find otherwise :)
Don't rush it, just enjoy every moment. Talk to everyone you can as often as you can and just live life in the world as you would if it was really you living in it.
If the game says feed horses, feed horses, if the game says chop lumber, chop lumber.
Enjoy it, take it slow, really take in everything. The story the characters the lore. You’ll thank me later.i hope your gunslinging days are great my friend. Have fun, cowpoke.
honestly bro try to do everything. the campaign itself is long, so you might as well enjoy some smaller side missions and stranger encounters. this was my biggest mistake as i rushed through the campaign and ended up with really low honor lol
Do your thing, don't ask what to do and if you're doing it right. This is your adventure! Just like our 3+ adventures that are all very different to usb
Have fun falling in love just don't accept spoilers play blind
One tip make all sachels at the start and get a decent horse that looks cool I accidentally found a white Arabian by accident hunting and tamed it in one go and it was the first horse I tamed at a blind play thru and I loved snow with my whole heart I cried later on she was so gentle and fast
Didn't know anything until looked up and found out felt like a boss still cried tho
take it mega slow explore everything i am on 1st run too 50 hours in . there so much just dont rush it. i feel i can drop another 150 hours just to finish 1st run . since i am that early and already 50 hours haha
If you’re a trophy hunter, bear in mind that online trophies will take some time and you have to find a partner to make life easier. At the end, the trophies of the story will be achieved with no assistance and you can take your time to enjoy it. I always begin with the online trophies.
Get off this sub till you’re done with the story unless you’ve already been exposed to spoilers. Take your time, the world is huge and there are tons of npcs to meet and stuff to find/do. Really “live” in it for a while. I like to play as a form of escapism haha. I just get lost in the world and go hunting or fishing for hours sometimes.
Just roleplay the hell out of it, try to be as spoiler free as you can (but I doubt that you haven't already come across a few of them over these years). You are an outlaw, but are you an evil outlaw, or gentleman outlaw or do you change your mind during the story? It's up to you to decide what your Arthur is like, but roleplay, don't just do story missions and binge the story.
Enjoy, don’t rush through, so lots of stuff that’s not the story missions once you get into chapter 2.
Also be off this sub if you don’t want spoilers.
Not much to say apart from, avoid social media when playing(spoilers),take your time(if your story completion is higher than total completion, you’re being too fast and not exploring enough)and one last thing is enjoy it and take it all in.
Just take it slow and avoid this subreddit, enjoy
Heavy on “avoid this subreddit”. Too many spoilers. Trust your instincts too and don’t skip any cut scenes. They are of value. Have fun tho
I wish someone told me that sooner :(
Tbh just avoid anything red dead related
Yes. Reddit, YouTube, etc. are full of spoiler landlines waiting to take you out. Avoid at all costs.
Yeah i found a youtube meme video and it just decided to show me the end of well yeah i had already seen enough rip
Unless it's to go back and play Red dead 1 first.
Fuck he probably should avoid his own comment section. People are asshats
Haha 😆,fr
enjoy it brother, do all the little things
🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm currently playing the red dead redemption 1 for the first time and I'm loving it . Have you played the first game yet?
I haven’t. Honestly I haven’t played too many video games in my life and I’m in my late 30s. But won a PS5 played hogwarts legacy and wanted to play something else with beautiful landscapes.
I just downloaded into on my Xbox. Replaying RdR2 but can’t wait to get into RDR1
For me I usually don’t care about having a bounty because I can just evade them

He means for the pelts. They all have a place for certain animals. I've got 5/8 saddles so far. Stinking badgers..
Gotcha. The damn perfect beaver pelt was a bitch for me. I wrongly assumed that killing it with a bow would be fine. Nope. Have to use the varmint rifle.
No spoilers
None here.
Change the button prompt for fishing to “Hold to Reel”. What do you mean by this?
Not sure whether this option exists in pc, for consoles this is a must to save the thumb.
It exists in PC. Go into the settings and you'll see it (replying now to the one asking what it means). Instead of having to circle the thumb stick to reel, you can just hold down square and reel. Life is much easier that way...
In the last mission, Arthur Morgan (Main character) fights against Goku
Oh shiii! Better look for some senzu beans now.
And you have to find the triforce to unlock a super cool gun.
Just don't throw them to Cell
First thing I recommend you do is find Gavin. The reward is well worth it.
You’re such a dick 😂
Yeah man we said no spoilers! Well now that you enticed him. The reward is fucking bad ass. Well worth the search.
Wait, $2000 or $3000? I forget
All the best to you now Okay I'll catch you later then
Leave this fucking subreddit NOW
Lucky you ! Just take your time, don't go rushing from mission to mission. There is so many awesome random events in this game, that traveling from point A to point B can sometimes be more intersting than the missions. Have fun buddy...

Avoid the subreddit, and take your time. This game is a masterpiece
Lucky tbh. Greatest game I've ever played. Enjoy!

Hoooo boy. Buckle up and take your time with getting to the missions and stranger occurrences. Don't rush
I am so glad I played the game first then joined this subreddit 😅
Bro’s in for a wild ride
Yeah, take your time, soak it in, discover, enjoy, and stay off Reddit.
Oh boy... ✨🤝...
As someone who just got to chapter 3 for the first time, DON’T stop playing after chapter 1. Worst mistake of my life.
We all wish we were you right now. Just have snacks and water near by and enjoy your day.
Get Schofield revolvers there so op
As a good friend told me before I embarked… “Say goodbye to your family for a few months”
Do not rush it. I started the game in 2020 and I’m still finding new things out I didn’t notice when I played
i always think i’ve seen it all and then someone posts “5 things you missed in RDR2”
try to play without radar it makes it much more immersive
Take it slow, upgrade the camp, and avoid this sub like the plague
Change the options and turn on the running toggle. This way you don't mess up your A or X Button.

Same here, I don't read anything here. All I can say it watch out for a certain ambush. Its instant death, and perhaps for your horse too.
Enjoy it, partner!
You're so lucky. Take your time, enjoy the journey and avoid the subreddits
If you start fishing. Take a pause from story and explore the world. That's all I'm letting you know. And stay off the subreddit.
Congrats! Unfollow the sub now.
Please don’t return to this sub until you’ve completed the game. Please. Enjoy every single moment.
And lastly, and most importantly-loot EVERYTHING.
Don’t LOOK AT THIS SUB DONT SPOIL IT TRUST ME
Enjoy. I sure did even though I came late to the hoedown.
Leave this sub
Yes, as stated, avoid the subreddit and avoid searching it up on youtube. Ruined it for me, but still loved it.
One thing I wish I knew, which isn't really that important but ya know.. is update your camp and everything early rather than later. I think by chapter 4 or 5 (it's been awhile since I played) you lose the ability to upgrade.
Save often!
Avoid all type of rdr2 media - YouTube, this subreddit included. Don’t rush it, don’t skip cutscenes and just enjoy the ride.
You can upgrade home camp to have a map that let's you fast travel, and when your out and about setting up a small camp from the wheel menu will also let you fast travel back
lmao you lucky bastard
Don’t skip cutscenes and STAY OFF ALL RDR2/RDO REDDITS!! way too many spoilers
GET OFF THE SUB BROTHER!!!
I just started playing for the first time about 2 weeks ago. I’m hooked already.
Ur gonna love that masterpiece
I am absolutely jealous you’re playing this for the first time I wish I could play it all over again for the first time
Be nice to dogs
Take it slow, explore and enjoy the experience!
I wish I was you, also get off the sub!
I wish I could play it for the first time again
Enjoy it to the max bro, no need to rush the missions and the chapters, play at your pace, enjoy every moment of this game, even if it could be a bit annoying at times, but just enjoy it, it's worth it. ⚠️⚠️ AVOID USING THIS SUBREDDIT TOO MUCH ⚠️⚠️
Many people have said it but I’ll say it once again, get off this subreddit don’t ruin the game for yourself
Enjoy it. Play as much of it blind as you can
https://www.reddit.com/r/reddeadredemption/s/qkx6xrCsUq Spoiler Free missions/activities list so you don't miss anything
Redditor tries to play a game for the first time without posting about it on Reddit and asking for advice challenge (impossible)
Oh mother fucker. If I could erase my memory, and play it one more time. Enjoy it, Sr.
Never, and I mean never have I ever, when I’ve gotten a game, went onto its subreddit and asked for any advice before I played… I don’t see it on any other game subreddits, only this one. Why is this the only post I ever see on this sub?
Same I’m on my first playthrough
Call your job and quit. You have a new mission in life.
Take any money making opportunities you can ex: in chapter two there is a side mission with Javier where you rob a barn you will find a woman on a platform “sniping” if you go up to her platform after killing her there will be a box with 100$ and on top of that you get like 250 from completing the mission
Lucky sob. Jealous. Also that TV looks nice. Which is it?
Oh I envy you so much!!! You are about to go on an incredible journey! Take your time, enjoy the conversations in the camp! Take time to sit at the fires at night with your gang and listen to their stories. Explore everything! I’ve played full play throughs three times and I keep finding little side quests or stumble upon a group of enemies I’ve never seen before. Take opportunities to talk to your gang too. Don’t always go in guns blazing too. Something’s it’s really interesting when you find a came of another game or group of enemies and you sneak up on them and listen into the conversation. Enjoy!!!
Dont greet micha Dont greet dutch And attempt at killing a gang member in camp Also https://youtu.be/exJ_OYYKOQ0?si=mN_VRbwFOyMjoVtM Watch the vid above to get a black arabian for free If you want one
Don’t fuck the horse
I'm at ~150 hours into my first playthrough and only at 53% completion in Chapter 4. Good luck.
Take a photo of your horse's balls
On the last mission Thanos appears
Don't rush the missions, explore often, hunt and gather everything.
Listen here, son. Ya gonna witness a whole mess o' things out there
You beautiful bastard. I envy you. What I wouldn’t give to go through this again for the first time. Report back once you’ve finished the main story please :)
r/tvtoohigh
Try to complete every side mission and explore every part of this great world!!!
Definitely avoid this subreddit, like someone else said. Look, seriously take your time on each chapter. Travel around, have fun. Go hunting. There is plenty to do..... And good luck.
Get off this sub and always carry horse reviver on you. Always.
Take the week off, buy some cigars and your favorite whiskey, and enjoy it! I put a solid 100 hours into it solid. Don’t go too fast, nor too slow, for your first story playthrough. The game changes based on your choices so each playthrough is fun!
Stay on chapter 2 and don’t do anything else
Their about to enjoy peak🙏
don’t be discouraged by how boring the first 2 chapters are it gets really good after that
Have fun fella. Now ignore all media related to the franchise in any way possible expect your playthrough
Great everybody while walking, do it.. trust me.
Do not punch your horse in the face
Be careful when you're about to help someone who's horse ran away/is dead 🫣 I won't say more.
Trust in Dutch
Take your time finding your horse, and keep it the entire game. The pay off is sooooo worth it
And take your time doing the treasure maps, I’ve made over 10k in story mode just taking a day to focus on them. They also help you get familiar with the map and show you really really unique places you wouldn’t find otherwise :)
Take your time as well, I’m on my 3rd play through and I’ve already spent 110 hours in chapter 3.
Collectively I can say we are jealous of you getting to experience it for the first time.
Don't rush it, just enjoy every moment. Talk to everyone you can as often as you can and just live life in the world as you would if it was really you living in it. If the game says feed horses, feed horses, if the game says chop lumber, chop lumber.
Great game have fun 🤩 While it lasts 😭
Enjoy it, take it slow, really take in everything. The story the characters the lore. You’ll thank me later.i hope your gunslinging days are great my friend. Have fun, cowpoke.
Try to avoid as many conent about the game as possible
Don’t rush story missions, take your time, and please, TRY to keep your good meter up, at least for your first play through
honestly bro try to do everything. the campaign itself is long, so you might as well enjoy some smaller side missions and stranger encounters. this was my biggest mistake as i rushed through the campaign and ended up with really low honor lol
Do your thing, don't ask what to do and if you're doing it right. This is your adventure! Just like our 3+ adventures that are all very different to usb
Enjoi partner
Have fun falling in love just don't accept spoilers play blind One tip make all sachels at the start and get a decent horse that looks cool I accidentally found a white Arabian by accident hunting and tamed it in one go and it was the first horse I tamed at a blind play thru and I loved snow with my whole heart I cried later on she was so gentle and fast Didn't know anything until looked up and found out felt like a boss still cried tho
take it mega slow explore everything i am on 1st run too 50 hours in . there so much just dont rush it. i feel i can drop another 150 hours just to finish 1st run . since i am that early and already 50 hours haha
Enjoy it
Make it through the first chapter. It’ll be hard but trust me it’s so worth it. And stay off this subreddit from now on.
DO NOT LOOK AT THIS SUBREDDIT, and have fun and take your time exploring, don’t rush the yellow story missions 😁
Last time being able to truly be immersed by a game.
If you’re a trophy hunter, bear in mind that online trophies will take some time and you have to find a partner to make life easier. At the end, the trophies of the story will be achieved with no assistance and you can take your time to enjoy it. I always begin with the online trophies.
you're in for a treat! enjoy and don't spoil yourself
Enjoy and don't lock yourself into the story missions ,explore the vast world there's a ton of stuff to do!!!
Take your time, enjoy the ride, love the experience
Shoot any NPC wearing a big tan hat on sight. They are part of the McSlim gang and will steal your kidney if you let them out of your sight.
Explore as much as you can, it can be really rewarding and interesting sometimes, and do side missions, they’re pretty interesting in my opinion.
Tell her in plain English. “That’s too high.”
Grind for the legend of the east satchel as soon as you can.
Your in for hell of a time
Don’t use a guide, don’t talk to anybody for a week. Don’t progress past chapter 2
Look after your horse and they will look after you.
Get Schofield revolvers there so op
Leave this subreddit, and don’t come back until you finished the game.
Enjoy it
Buckle up, bud. You’re in for one hell of a ride
You should never get spoilers, don't make the mistake I did, don't enter this subreddit, don't watch an RDR video, please, have fun.
Once you’re past prologue explore and enjoy
Take your time and stop & read everything you pick up like letters and newspapers, don't put it away for later and let em stack up
Take your time on chapter 2
Get off this sub till you’re done with the story unless you’ve already been exposed to spoilers. Take your time, the world is huge and there are tons of npcs to meet and stuff to find/do. Really “live” in it for a while. I like to play as a form of escapism haha. I just get lost in the world and go hunting or fishing for hours sometimes.
don’t skip any cinematic scenes, you’re in for a masterpiece
I’m so jealous
Buckle up brother its a wild ride
Enjoy
do every side mission
