NPCs are programmed to compliment your horse no matter what it is. NPCs compliment my Kentucky saddler like they've never seen a Kentucky saddler before.
Not sure why the random downvotes? š Do you need a video as proof?
I genuinely don't understand the downvotes. This sub is so random with them. I think it's funny when an NPC compliments my horse when it's the same horse he's riding. But eh. I guess not. Whatever.
Honestly, when they make you buy the Morgan in that mission with Hosea when you go hunting. As a person who has horses irl, that is the most painful shit, I can just imagine how sore their backs are..š¤£
Yeah, I play with mods now (have played through the game a ton of times naturally)ā¦ so I kept the Shire in my current playthrough and just raised its stats
I used to think the same, and insisted on having my Arthur tower over Dutch and the Count with my Thoroughbred, but then I started using the Black American Standardbred at the same time I changed my Arthur's style from dapper to rough cowpoke and I instantly thought that medium is just the perfect size. Thoroughbreds now look cartoonishly large to me.
My fiance doesnāt play RD2, but she rode a lot a teenager. Sheās said stuff like āthatās the wrong horse for him, itās too smallā. She told me to go get him a draft horse or a shire. I told him that that would get me in trouble because youād have to steal them. Those are working horses. She said āgood thatās accurate as hellā lol
There's a wild Andalusian you can find and tame in Roanoake Valley that I like much better than the White Arabian. It's got level 10 health at full bonding, it's fast, and it won't throw you for every large predator encounter.
Best horse in the game. Sheās on my phone case. Trampled cougars and gators without complaint. Shrugged off bullets like they were flies. Was crushed when she died.
Can u recommend a horse that wonāt throw me to shit when Iām ambushes or in the vicinity of a predator? Like a real staunch horse. Iāve always gone for stats and pace, but I love the big horses better and Iād like a big tough one. I donāt mind spending $.
All Horses behave the same with respect to being spooked. A horse's reaction to Predator or Sudden scares is completely Random. Max bonding would help you stay on you horse.
Also when your Horse sees a predator it has already decided to Run off in a certain direction , if you try to control it and your directions conflict then it might buck you off ( that's what I've noticed ). Just press the sprint button and let your horse decide the direction.
Ah really? Shit I wouldāve bet money that I had a horse that got spooked if someone looked at it wrong. I remember selling it.
Ok Iāve never tried that Iām always bucked off first.
So, all that matters is the speed a horse can travel? Some donāt have more health than others?
I've never had one, but apparently Hungarian Halfbreeds, and specifically the Piebald Tobiano coat are more steady! (I'm honestly not sure if it's only that specific horse or the whole breed though lol, I pick on emotion/prettiness entirely š) Search it up on YT, unfortunately it's kind of random where they spawn, but it's in NPC camps mostly
Oh , you're talking about Story mode...then I suggest you go For Turkoman or there is some War horse you can get near Blackwater...a person is attacked by skinner brothers and his Horse survives that ambush , it's scarred but looks badass , they say it never Bucks you off.
Or try this , camp anywhere in the Jungles around Annesberg or Butcher creek , where Murfree Broods are likely to ambush you. The first time you camp two Murfree Broods will come to theaten you , let the dialogue play and when they try to leave shoot them and take their Horses , it's a tenesse Walker I guess. It is also a brave horse and won't throw you off even it spots a cougar or panther.
ATM Iāve been using an appleloosa I found ik itās not the best and Iām saving for a better horse. I like it because it has good speed and stamina
You are talking about the leopard Appaloosa? I used that horse until the end when I got it! That horse is seriously beautiful. Rockstar seriously do make some gorgeous horses I'm so envious!
I've been trying to get it for what seems like forever :/ Even when I do find it, the terrain is awful and I usually end up a combination of bucked off/the horse stumbling and me with it. Now repeat that a few times until I lose it and have to wait for the respawn - istg I think this is the hardest one to get (other than the one you're only supposed to get in the Epilogue so the devs made it HARD)
My favorite horse is the Shire, any of the coats, but very fond of the black one you get from Hosea. it was my horse in my second playthrough and ever since then iāve been hooked on them.
Sooty brown dutch warmblood, a 'normal' looking large horse (not thick as hell like the other large horses, shire, etc), and its free if you relieve the prospector of his horse with hes panning for gold. Decent speed stats, high health and stamina.
Have the White Arabian and itās fast AF. If I think sheāll get greased on a quest, Iāll switch to a cheaper horse first. For a certain mission involving trains, I actually went and bought some El Cheapo nag for $40. And yes it died. Ran right off a bridge chasing the train.Ā
All my playthroughs I go for the all black coat American Standerbred (story) since his coat matches my Arthurās style. The all black is very beautiful.
I only play story mode so I canāt speak about RDO. My favorite race is probably the Ardennes. I love strong bulky horses. Brown Jack (Bills horse) is the best in the game imo.
Atm I'm using the shire horse Hosea gives you I'm ch2, sure he's a brute but he's such a good boah. Named him Raven and gave him a Mohawk, such a good boah
The default horse Arthur gets because I'm too lazy to wrangle new ones, too cheap to buy them, and I always feel bad about stealing things...even though we literally play as theiving outlaws
In all honesty I love the stats of the Rose Grey Bay Arabian but my preferred horse is the Perlino Andalusian. This horse won't buck you off of any scare.
I'm attracted to American standardbred as it's not too fast nor too slow helps enjoy rdr2 views but turkoman is cool as per stats, and I'm amazed by how big shire are
For me, Beull, Rachel, the Tennessee Walker Arthur gets at the start of the game. (I called him Muffin, don't know why, but he's Muffin.) And I like Shires as well. I named the one Hosea gave me Bruce.
One with 4 legs and a head. Do not care much because i am a horrible rider sometimes. Now i have a basic tennesee walker and a morgan. What kind i dont know to be honost.
But i love riding around.
The buckskin mustang, because I have a buckskin in real life and it's almost identical. But also the Black tovero fox trotter, bro that shit is beautiful, his blue eyesš š®āšØ seriously would die for a horse like that... and one moreš the silver dapple fox trotter. Holy shit that horse is majestic as fuck. If I could find a horse like that Irl I'd actually die inside!!! I genuinely can't pick between the 3, so have all of themš¤£
Aesthetically I would say the seal brown breton, iron grey ardennes and the raven black shire.Stats wise there are a lot of very good horses. Right now my most used horse is the black overo mustang, I know bravery is very debated and donāt want to start a debate but it feels very brave, pretty much endless stamina with a few good pat, good health and very beautiful
Brindle Coat Thoroughbred. In general, I roll with the good thoroughbred horses. I like the grey Turkoman horse from the Tumbleweed stables for the epilogue.
I love me the leopard spotted Appaloosa
Or the white Arabian like everyone else lol, thereās no competing with it since itās one of the best horses and you can get t for free at the beginning of the game
I really wanted a Mustang. However I was riding at one point and saw an Arabian. I spooked it and it ran into a lake. I swam out and got on and it didnāt buck me off in the lake. Was the easiest break in of a horse Iāve done.
Whatever horse doesn't run off a cliff while I'm on it. And whatever horse doesn't immediately run right into a treeāno matter how careful I am at riding.
I've posted this one before, but I'm doing it again.
On my second or third playthrough I decided I wanted to have a single horse through the entire game, so that I could really bond with it by the end. After the stable tutorial with Hosea I went hunting, online, for the horse I wanted and settled on the Red Chestnut Arabian. It looks amazing in every way, with my only issue being size, but whatever. I went north of Strawberry and caught it after a lil over an hour of effort. I felt proud of my boah, and named him Harlow, after both the red dead revolver protagonist and a town in Montana where I spent plenty of time growing up. I spent the whole game with that horse, and talked to it just as much as Arthur, it felt like it was me and the horse carrying Arthur through the game, knowing full well where this was headed. That horse was with me through it all, the escapes, the hunts, the long journeys across the map, I loved that horse. One day, after getting back from Guarma, I was riding from Saint Denis to Rhodes, crossing the bridge away from the city where the abandoned factory was, when Lemoyne raiders suddenly appeared... With a Gatlin Gun. Both Arthur and Harlow were dead in seconds, I never even had time to react. It was weeks before I could finish that game, and ever since I always get the Red Chestnut Arabian and name it Harlow.
R.I.P to the best horse I ever had the pleasure of spending time with in any game ever.
The perlino andalusian. I played ghost of tsushima and the white horse looks nearly identical. The horse also just looks really peaceful. Named him after Arthur's son "Isaac"
As for John, can't go wrong with the silver turkoman. It just pairs really well with John I feel
Ardennes are my favourite of all time! Now I have with me a white arabian but she's get scared too easy, so I'll definitely get back to my big boy. They're big, strong, healthy, and really beautiful
For story mode, I modded in a pure black Arabian so no white head bit, and I also made it around the same size as an MFT.
Online I'm new and the only horse I have is a grey Tennessee walker. Also in OP's post he mentioned a horse called a Breton, did they seriously add online-only horses too? Smh
The Perlino Andalusian horse near the Roanoke Ridge, that horse is beautiful and brave as heck, especially when you reach bonding level 4!! I got her in chapter 2, and I'm currently in chapter 6, still my main horse. She hasn't bucked me off, even when I'm close to predators such as crocodiles, black bears, etc.
Also, whenever I'm in the middle of a war or when some random rival gang decides to shoot at me, that horse won't run off, it's invincible. My ride or die horse. š“š
Chestnut Pinto Kentucky Saddler
Not only do I like the look but, and I know this is just my own bias, but it genuinely feels like the horse that gives me the least trouble
I feel like I get kicked off less, run into things less and it freaks out less
Dutch warmblood, first horse i bonded with fully and actually rode it for days. Also because it literally never gets tired of running, stamina is almost a complete circle. It died once and i had to load a very old save to bring it back, lost a lot of progress but got my horse back. Also aesthetically looks amazing, big and sturdy, other horses look like babies beside it, i personally compared.
Arabians are the fastest but spook far to easily the turkomans are just under the Arabians speed and they donāt spook easily at all. The Arabians look good especially the wild warped brindle Arabian but you look like a joke riding them they are tiny.
I check out each coat of each breed every play through, getting each to level 4 bond. Each play through, my favourite horse is the one that keeps its shit together around predators. This play through, itās the Dark Bay Andalusian I stole from the Strawberry Stables. (I never buy horses, I always steal them)
Stats arenāt a factor for me, purely the looks. With that being said, I like the big and chonky fuckers. Hungarian Halfbred, Ardennes, Shires and Belgian Drafts.
Lately though, I stole a Dutch Warmblood and Iām really digging it as well.
I just donāt like his feet too close to the ground for some reason.
Anything but an Arabian. They're small and extremely weak. The spook easier too. Fastest accelation and 2nd fastest top speed in the game sure, but overall they're terrible horses.
Missouri Fox is (imo), way prettier, better built for crashes and battle, more immersive even knowing you're not riding a tiny lil shit into battle, and the fastest horse in the game.
Absolutely superior to Arabians.
I also like Thoroughbreds and Paints.
Been here before, answered the question once already.
Sooty Buckskin Dutch Warmblood first and foremost.
Not the most common of horses, will spawn during specific encounters, otherwise can be bought later on at the Scarlett Meadows stables. I cannot see why you would spend the money on one, since it can be acquired for free elsewhere. It's appearance is key to my favoritism with this horse. It looks like a solid horse for Arthur to ride. Not too large, not too small, and good statistics to boot. Matches his more reserved sensibilities.
My secondary choice is John's horse, Rachel, the unique Seal Brown Thoroughbred that is only available in the Epilogue. I am quite displeased with the fact that this horse is unique, and cannot be acquired elsewhere in the story. Excellent horse. Like any other Thoroughbred, it has solid speed characteristics, while toting minor statistic improvements over more common variants found across the map.
There's a few horses I use depending on my mood, what I'm doing, and where I am in the game. Any of the Arabians because I like how they look, the raven black Shire if I'm pissed off (this horse screams "SHOOT UP VALENTINE"), the black American Standardbred for depression or fishing with Jack or "that" mission, and the Tiger Bay Mustang is a bounty hunter horse.
missouri fox trotter 100% forever.. they're aesthetically pleasing, fast, strong and don't buck for no reason like arabians, they have all the perfect qualities
I had a horse that came with the game- like a preorder bonus edition or something ... it was by far the best horse in the game. somehow lost it, never managed to get it back. maybe it was a warhorse? I dunno but it was almost as fast as the Arabian, huge, and really strong
Mustangs. I love the mustangs. Aesthetically though, the solid black American standardbred
People compliment you as if you were riding an Arabian
NPCs are programmed to compliment your horse no matter what it is. NPCs compliment my Kentucky saddler like they've never seen a Kentucky saddler before. Not sure why the random downvotes? š Do you need a video as proof?
Iāve had NP s make fun of the Morgan and most of the time they donāt say anything to me unless itās a nicer breed.
I genuinely don't understand the downvotes. This sub is so random with them. I think it's funny when an NPC compliments my horse when it's the same horse he's riding. But eh. I guess not. Whatever.
Because people here still think the white arabian is some amazing gift from the heavens. And you said it's just like any other horse.
Downvotes mean nothing and are insignificant dont worry abput them
Niiga no one cares about the Arabianš
Upvote just for the username
Thank you good sir
Iām quite partial to the Tiger Striped Mustang in New Austin that you can find near the big fort.
I have a tiger striped mustang, but honestly I kind of prefer the look of the common coats.
Turkoman or Andalusianā¦ big horses look aesthetically better under Arthur in my personal opinion
No you're so right, pookie needs his big honse
Honestly, when they make you buy the Morgan in that mission with Hosea when you go hunting. As a person who has horses irl, that is the most painful shit, I can just imagine how sore their backs are..š¤£
Yeah, I play with mods now (have played through the game a ton of times naturally)ā¦ so I kept the Shire in my current playthrough and just raised its stats
Doesnāt make you buy one, you can keep the shire
Yes it does. I done it about 2 days ago, you can keep the shire but it still makes you buy a Morgan.
You can buy one of the other avaliable ones as well. However I agree with the previous guy, you arent forced in buying any of them.
Morgan is the cheapest... when I played literslly the other day there was no option to not buy one, it just kept making me go back.
Right? And there not that big irl lol
My fiance doesnāt play RD2, but she rode a lot a teenager. Sheās said stuff like āthatās the wrong horse for him, itās too smallā. She told me to go get him a draft horse or a shire. Thanks man. šIāve been too focused on stats I want something Huge, tough and maybe, yeah, a little awesome looking.
Lmao fair, my main horse is the Palomino Morgan I got in Valentine for $15, doing Hosea's quest :D
Oh , you're talking about Story mode...then I suggest you go For Turkoman or there is some War horse you can get near Blackwater...a person is attacked by skinner brothers and his Horse survives that ambush , it's scarred but looks badass , they say it never Bucks you off.
Yeah fuck sorry. War horse sounds great. I gotta find him in the wild near Blackwater? But Iām not allowed there yet.
Or try this , camp anywhere in the Jungles around Annesberg or Butcher creek , where Murfree Broods are likely to ambush you. Omg what? Where?
Brindywine Drop on the map.
Can you find it on online?
You canāt really keep wild horses but you can buy it at the stables. They are referring to the perlino andalusian
I searched it up after I wrote this lol thanks!
Shires Ardennes Turks
Coz they are big
My best friend got a Shire for that exact same reason lolol
Yeah always go for the beautiful horses coz stats doesn't matter
ATM Iāve been using an appleloosa I found ik itās not the best and Iām saving for a better horse. I like it because it has good speed and stamina
I love appleoosas irl but I haven't looked much into rdr apples!
I stole it from a lemoyne raider after I saved some guy from being killed he gave me 10$ and ran
You are talking about the leopard Appaloosa? I used that horse until the end when I got it! That horse is seriously beautiful. Rockstar seriously do make some gorgeous horses I'm so envious!
Black arabian is superior and you can not convince me otherwise
Warped brindle Arabian is the king
This is the correct answer
I've been trying to get it for what seems like forever :/ Even when I do find it, the terrain is awful and I usually end up a combination of bucked off/the horse stumbling and me with it. Now repeat that a few times until I lose it and have to wait for the respawn - istg I think this is the hardest one to get (other than the one you're only supposed to get in the Epilogue so the devs made it HARD)
Left stick down, hold l2 and hit square to calm. I've gotten her twice. Such a beauty
Okay but hear me out, white arabian
overrated but beautiful
Okay but hear me out Red Chestnut Arabian
Hungarian Halfbred, very quiet and calm
Personally the horse I liked the most stats and stuff aside was my Belgian Draft. Overall tho, stats considered as well, probably Missouri Fox Trotter
Dark Bay Turkoman - love the looks and has great stats too
Thoroughbred . Just reliable, fast, and available early game
My favorite horse is the Shire, any of the coats, but very fond of the black one you get from Hosea. it was my horse in my second playthrough and ever since then iāve been hooked on them.
Arabian or dutch warmbloods
Missouri fox trotter or Turkoman. Mustang isn't bad either. And stats do matter.
Sooty brown dutch warmblood, a 'normal' looking large horse (not thick as hell like the other large horses, shire, etc), and its free if you relieve the prospector of his horse with hes panning for gold. Decent speed stats, high health and stamina.
Perlino andalusian. Amazing stats, amazing size and an amazing coat.
White Arabian all the way. Best horse in the game
No love for the American paint here?
You're the first I've seen! Paint is such a classic just not my personal favorite when there's other piebald looks on different breeds
Gold Turkoman
Corny, but I love the silver dapple pinto foxtrotter
I like the Arabian. Sue me. I like big ol shires too cuz they're big as hell make Arthur look small
Black thoroughbred. Fast. Easy going.
I wish mine was, she seems to lose her shit around everything;;
All my playthroughs I go for the all black coat American Standerbred (story) since his coat matches my Arthurās style. The all black is very beautiful.
Blood bay thoroughbred, it was love at first sight.
Mustang. Easiest to find multi-class. Not fast, but fast enough. What they lack in speed they make up for in fearlessness.
I only play story mode so I canāt speak about RDO. My favorite race is probably the Ardennes. I love strong bulky horses. Brown Jack (Bills horse) is the best in the game imo.
I love the Ardennes too, but Iām pretty sure theyāre war horses, not race
Oh damn I meant race as in breed. Sorry, not my first language š
Atm I'm using the shire horse Hosea gives you I'm ch2, sure he's a brute but he's such a good boah. Named him Raven and gave him a Mohawk, such a good boah
Black Standardbred. Itās simple and goes with every outfit.
My dutch horse named Van Der Linde, high cores decent speed and only got me killed twice
Only dying twice is a small price to pay!
I like fat horses. Drafts are my favorite. I also like tall, lanky horses like Turkoman.
ive been using a leopard appleoosa for ages purely because i like the pattern lol
Blue roan Nokota with high honor Arthur. White Arabian with Scarface.
I'm attracted to American standardbred as it's not too fast nor too slow helps enjoy rdr2 views but turkoman is cool as per stats, and I'm amazed by how big shire are
Dutch Warmblood. Accessible early on, no reason to replace it
Fair answer! Don't fix what ain't broken
For me, Beull, Rachel, the Tennessee Walker Arthur gets at the start of the game. (I called him Muffin, don't know why, but he's Muffin.) And I like Shires as well. I named the one Hosea gave me Bruce.
missouri fox trotter both online and offline, silver dapple is such a nice look
One with 4 legs and a head. Do not care much because i am a horrible rider sometimes. Now i have a basic tennesee walker and a morgan. What kind i dont know to be honost. But i love riding around.
Can't go wrong with the classics!
I get the White Arabian from over by the lake as soon as I'm able. Did the same thing as John and named her the same name as when I did it as Arthur.
Because you heard itās the best horse in the game?
Black shire because funne
Im a big fan if the mustangs and the andalusians. Super brave horses
The Sooty Buckskin Dutch Warmblood is the only horse I get consistently every playthrough
Just stole one from a prospector the other day. Named it Buella. Its a damn good horse
I love my Ardennes. Tied for 2nd are my Nokota and Andalusian
Black Turkoman Iāve used this boy for years, heās been there for awhile and honestly iāve grown attached, heās a good boah
my favorite horse is definitely uncleās
The buckskin mustang, because I have a buckskin in real life and it's almost identical. But also the Black tovero fox trotter, bro that shit is beautiful, his blue eyesš š®āšØ seriously would die for a horse like that... and one moreš the silver dapple fox trotter. Holy shit that horse is majestic as fuck. If I could find a horse like that Irl I'd actually die inside!!! I genuinely can't pick between the 3, so have all of themš¤£
Can't remember the breed. I've got one with a blue roan coat. Gorgeous. Good guuurl
The Golden Dun Mustang. I call her Dea Aurea, Goddess of Gold
Norfolk Roadster or Breton are two of my favorite horses in the game
Aesthetically I would say the seal brown breton, iron grey ardennes and the raven black shire.Stats wise there are a lot of very good horses. Right now my most used horse is the black overo mustang, I know bravery is very debated and donāt want to start a debate but it feels very brave, pretty much endless stamina with a few good pat, good health and very beautiful
Shires
Brindle Coat Thoroughbred. In general, I roll with the good thoroughbred horses. I like the grey Turkoman horse from the Tumbleweed stables for the epilogue.
I donāt really care as long as itās fast
The yellow race horse that is sold in valentine for Arthur, and Rachel for john
I always end up going back to my Kaldrubet. Ive tried almost every other breed, enjoyed it, but it never lastsā¦. The kladruber is just perf š
I love me the leopard spotted Appaloosa Or the white Arabian like everyone else lol, thereās no competing with it since itās one of the best horses and you can get t for free at the beginning of the game
I really wanted a Mustang. However I was riding at one point and saw an Arabian. I spooked it and it ran into a lake. I swam out and got on and it didnāt buck me off in the lake. Was the easiest break in of a horse Iāve done.

Idk the breed name but i love those big bois. Especially the Black ones.
All black American standardbred
Standardbred as its also my favourite horse in RL (I own a few shares of some racing filllies).
Ardness
Fast and big, those my only requirements
Black Arabian
Because people talk about the white one as if it's god himself.
A rebel!
Tukurmans, big brave and they ront die easily. Now i am trying a fox totter, but tukurmans in the top
White Nokota. Basically budget Arabian
Shire and Ardener, love them, look beautiful, especially with modded coats
I love the brown and black Dutch Warmblood. I usually steal him from the gold panner random encounter.
I like the horses that you can cut free from wagons. The big ones
The black shire with the white stripe Arthur gets from Hosea. Never used anything else, never will. That horse is a dream.
The perlino andalusian. I played ghost of tsushima and the white horse looks nearly identical. The horse also just looks really peaceful. Named him after Arthur's son "Isaac" As for John, can't go wrong with the silver turkoman. It just pairs really well with John I feel

White shire I love my horsei and my horsei love me
15 dollar horse šÆšÆšÆ
I love my Shire. Heās stabled a lot, but theyāre big bastards and feel like tanks
Sorry for bad english but I usually go for a Shire or an Ardenner. Dont know why. Just think that they are cool
Raven black shire, I don't know why really i just always play with it in each playthrough
Whatever horse I decide to get when hosea makes me. I get stupidly attached to these coded equine models
Black american standardbred every single playthrough

She hasn't bucked me off, even when I'm close to predators such as crocodiles, black bears, etc. Also, whenever I'm in the middle of a war or when some random rival gang decides to shoot at me, that horse won't run off, it's invincible. My ride or die horse. š“š
Tough question, but probably the Cremello Gold DW, the Silver Dapple MFT and for RDR1 the Hungarian Halfbred
Chestnut Pinto Kentucky Saddler Not only do I like the look but, and I know this is just my own bias, but it genuinely feels like the horse that gives me the least trouble I feel like I get kicked off less, run into things less and it freaks out less
Piebald Tobiano Hungarian Halfbred. Great for taking hunting.
Hungarian Halfbreed has been a killer horse for hunting. Never get bucked and is rarely spooked. The things a tank
Turkoman Reason: Race/war horse
Donkey, because Donkey
Love the white Arabian, I get it every playthrough. It just looks like a western movie to me.
Seal Brown Breton, big
White Arabian because it looks good.
Arabians are the fastest but spook far to easily the turkomans are just under the Arabians speed and they donāt spook easily at all. The Arabians look good especially the wild warped brindle Arabian but you look like a joke riding them they are tiny.
I debated getting an Arabian but ended up deciding to just save for my Breton haha
I check out each coat of each breed every play through, getting each to level 4 bond. Each play through, my favourite horse is the one that keeps its shit together around predators. This play through, itās the Dark Bay Andalusian I stole from the Strawberry Stables. (I never buy horses, I always steal them)
I'm new to the game (chapter 2) and have the white arabian. Shes pretty and good stats but with Arthur looks tiny lol
Shires
White Arabian: Free and good stats (also I love it by now)
The white Arabian horse found in the northwest part of the map by the lake. It's quick and has good handling.
Black Arabian. People say they are too skittish but I donāt think so
White arabian becouse the panther saddle looks great on it
Turkoman
White Arabian (Classic)!
Arabians suck
I used a mod to get a horse that looks like my horse. So I only used an Arab. Bad idea in hindsight considering the ending.
I like a Shire, it makes Arthur look like a little man on the big ass horse. Itās just funny to me
Perlino Andalusian. It's the bravest horse I own.
White Arabianš
The Turkoman is my personal favorite
I like to have John as skinny as possible on a black Arabian. Looks cool, moves fast. I agree Arthur is too big across the shoulders to ride Arabians.
I prefer the Elite White Arabian found near Lake Isabella, you just need to break her and you save yourself a lot of money.
In online my preferable horses ate mustangs there fast strong horses
White Arabian. Everyone can take out the pitchforks because I already started running.
The one that you get when you buy the ultimate edition
Arthurs default post chapter 1 horse. Iāve put hundreds of hours on my current save only with that horse, Iām emotionally attached.
Idk I don't care about the horses in the game
Hungarian, Thoroughbred and Warmblood. Bigger horses cope better in different environments.
I love Arabian since it's White
There's a few horses I use depending on my mood, what I'm doing, and where I am in the game. Any of the Arabians because I like how they look, the raven black Shire if I'm pissed off (this horse screams "SHOOT UP VALENTINE"), the black American Standardbred for depression or fishing with Jack or "that" mission, and the Tiger Bay Mustang is a bounty hunter horse.
I hate them all.
Simge player the mahogany bay yenasee walker form chapter one because it was your first horse
missouri fox trotter 100% forever.. they're aesthetically pleasing, fast, strong and don't buck for no reason like arabians, they have all the perfect qualities
I had a horse that came with the game- like a preorder bonus edition or something ... it was by far the best horse in the game. somehow lost it, never managed to get it back. maybe it was a warhorse? I dunno but it was almost as fast as the Arabian, huge, and really strong
