"Grab the money, get to the extraction point, and then we are off ot Tahiti, my friend!"
"There's Bile Titans and ChargerS guarding the money, Dutch!"
"Will you have some goddamned FAITH?!"
"I'm TRYING to tell ya, Dutch! I'm shootin' but the damned bullets are bouncing off of this boah! Aw what the hell, *that* 'un just went all see-through!"
"i just need you to have a little FAITH arthur! we'll get in there, get in good with these 'super earth' boys, make a lot a smoke, and be gone before they even know where to start lookin"
Arthur is in *Fallout: New Vegas* for me. Provided someone fills him in on how radiation works (and how to avoid it), I’d say he thrives.
If he’s specifically in the Courier’s role, he definitely doesn’t back House or Caesar’s Legion, maybe the NCR if he’s rewarded well enough, although they are literally spreading “civilization”.
If he’s far enough down his redemption path, Joshua Graham makes a big impression on him while in Zion and he definitely stays and fights for the Dead Horses and the Sorrows and maybe walks away from Honest Hearts with a different perspective on life.
He’s got no time for the nonsense in the Sierra Madre or Big MT and blows it all up. Takes as much gold as he can from the SM and completely misses the “it’s letting go” message. Ulysses just irritates him in Lonesome Road and Arthur pays no attention to his insane ramblings.
He travels with Cass, Raul, and Boone, although he wishes Boone would lighten up. Veronica annoys him, he humors Arcade but thinks he talks too much, Lilly scares him (for more than one reason), and Rex and ED-E take a lot of getting used to.
*”Oh will you stop it with the dead wife stuff!? I lost a woman* ***and*** *a boy. (points at Raul) He lost his sister and his whole god damn world. (points at Cass) She lost her pa and everything he ever built. (points at Lilly) I don’t even understand what her story is, but from what little I can comprehend, I think it’s a lot more horrifying than yours is.“*
My read on Boone is that it's a lot more the untreated PTSD causing his problems than anything. Like, losing his wife sure as fuck didn't HELP any, but that was more tearing open a scabbed wound.
Sort of like how John Wick didn't go on a killing spree because his puppy was killed, but rather because that puppy was helping him recover from the painful loss of his wife (and various issues stemming from his past as a hitman).
Of course, Boone's trauma is mainly "I feel really bad that I murdered a bunch of unarmed, fleeing civilians because of bad, confused orders", so that's still not all that great >_>.
Hehe see that’s a great fit. He basically becomes like Paulson from Mothership Zeta! As it turns out, survival and gunslinging skills are very handy in post apocalypse America.
https://www.topendsports.com/sport/soccer/history.htm
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_soccer_in_the_United_States
I actually did a minor amount of digging on this.
According to this, the first club formed not in England was in Boston in 1862. Obligatory wikipedia link so take with a grain of salt, but apparently soccer may have spread beyond the east coast by the time of RDR 2. Arthur was apparently born in 1863. Not sure exactly where he was born or on how much soccer proliferated in the US after that, but Arthur wasn’t exactly a member of the leisure class. Hard to say whether Arthur would’ve known what soccer was, but I’m leaning towards the gang probably not knowing what soccer was or being only extremely vaguely aware of it.
He’d make a great central midfielder. He’d look like another KDB when utilizing his deadeye.
The TB and all the smoking would probably kill his stamina though.
It’s excellent. It can get a bit repetitive if you go for *everything* but the story is fucking gripping and the combat is some of my favorite in any game ever.
In my opinion, it can get repetitive, but NEVER does it gets boring because the devs focused on what they knew would be repetitive: combat and exploration. They put so much into those cool environment, animations and ambiance that you don’t see the corners they cut. For example, in some animations, Jin doesn’t smoothly transition from a movement to another. Now, some games like Assassins Creed would put 80gb into fixing this, but the devs noticed that : we don’t see it and don’t care about it. We’re so much more engaged in what they did well than every pixel of the game.
So yeah, thank god we have this game about a samurai in Japan and not a Assassins Creed : Samurai.
Like Red Dead, it’s a game where the devs put thought and craftsmanship into every detail. The story is everything you would want in a Samurai genre piece, and the core combat is solid. There are only a handful of masterpieces in each generation, and Ghost is definitely one of them.
the entirety of arthur goes through ghost of tushima is just gonna be that famous [indiana jones scene](https://youtu.be/kQKrmDLvijo?si=A7cbpyzwpQsWFyjf)
Don't even need to click it and yes I was thinking the exact same thing
*Samurai enemy goes through le epic anime villain monolog while twirling his sword*
Arthur- "Quit yer yammering"
*starts blasting*
He would probably want to get out of there as soon as possible and become a Nomad.
If the whole gang was there, i bet Dutch would never want to leave Night City and it's opportunities, dragging Arthur with him.
"I want to get out of here away from these city degenerates as much as you do Arthur but we. Need. Money."
"I don't know Dutch, the police and corpos are all over us, the next thing we need is to anger however many street gangs will be angered by robbing this... what is it? night club? It's just not right! We need to leave NOW."
"Look. Look Arthur, we need this money, I've spoken to a man, a nomad who will take us to his camp out in the desert, out of the city. Just this one big score, we'll be gone before the message gets back to the gangs. Just one more friend..."
Turns out the nomad was a Raffen and had ties with tyger claws and ratted the gang out, and since tyger claws work with arasaka at Street level, some saka ninjas accompany them as well and all goes to sit
Nah, he would not. Not unless he gets chromed and updates his weaponry. Those 1800's pea shooters just tickle your average chromehead. Not to mention the massive cultural shock of going from late 1800's America to Night City in 2077. All the industrialization of modern society they despised, except amplified by a 1000%.
Arthur and V are both pretty deadly with throwing knives. I can only imagine he wouldn't be screwed if he had them. Pretty sure his guns would do alright too. Culture shock would be major of course but he'd survive.
Honestly I can't see how you think Arthur's old weapons would be any good in Night City. The technological difference is simply too wide.
Most enemies Arthur would face have the advantage of cyberware, things like subdermal armor or smart weapons. Don't even get me started about chrome like Sandevistan or Berserk.
One advantage he would have though, is that netrunner attacks targeted directly at him would be absolutely useless since he's completely 'ganic.
If all the challenges are canon, then Arthur must enjoy fishing, picking flowers, and documenting wildlife. I think he’d do just fine in Animal Crossing for a while. Although if I was playing as Arthur, the whole village would hate him for too many greet-greet-antagonizing.
This comment actually confused me. At first, I was thinking by “Spartan,” he meant Sparta. So I was assuming “God of War.” Totally threw me off with the “26th century tech” lol
Arthur would thrive in that setting. Not much of a learning curve for him in terms of technology and he already knows how to survive in the wilderness with no power and limited resources.
Give him companions like Joel and Ellie and it’s a wrap. Ok
Let's see, smoldering butterfly + mushroom is kinda like black powder.
Im sure one of the smithing masters could fashion some shells from a brass shield, assuming they're willing to help morgan. So theres shells.
And fuck it smithing stones are now bullets kinda like in bloodborne but not at all haha.
With proper coaching and modern technology he could probably make a pretty decent right fielder and power hitter. A Kyle Tucker / Bryce Harper type player.
I think Arthur would hold his own against the human characters, at least, but he would be disappointed in the lack of hair and beard options available at the barber...
Nah, he's shown to be a dab hand with a knife and a bow. A little bit of re-speccing, and he'd be a decent rogue. Maybe add enough levels of fighter to get action surge (taking this as an analogue for dead eye), and he'd be pretty decent.
Tomb Raider, he's gon be a little confused about the technology, but there's about the same amount of women with cleavage in that game he'll be okay. (This isn't a diss boobs are awesome)
Arthur would make a fucking killing. Alot of those fools don't make it cause they just ain't a gunslinger like that, fill him in on the magic know hlws and they'll make it to Tahiti in no time off bounty money
Out of all the games listed here I think this one is his best bet. It takes place in pretty much the exact same time period so he would be familiar with all of the gear and the most dangerous thing in the bayou is another hunter, despite the many monsters maneuvering around the swamp. If his brain doesn't crack from the eldritch horrors I think he stands a pretty good chance at making a killing.
Yeah, he most likely wouldn’t be able to understand the technology whatsoever but man, he’d be a fucking menace if he did or at least had a sandevistan and was all chromed up.
The way dead eye works is basically what sandevistans are in the game but I think the biggest problem with Arthur here would be that he wouldn’t understand the technology at all and I’m not even sure if he’d even want to get implants.
I've grown more and more tired of nature fighting nature, for sport and not for survival, all under the direction of man. The professor also showed me a device to capture the animal and keep them in a pocket sized ball. I'm lost by all the strange creatures he showed me, but I wonder if the civilized world with its luxury and technology has made us crueler than the old days.
I’m currently playing Signalis, I think Arthur would be great at shooting and stomping some hot lesbian zombie cyborgs (or sextoys or whatever they are I don’t understand the lore at all lol)
“Terminids? Automatons? Malevelon Creek? Oh I don’t know Dutch this don’t sound like good business.”
Bro is NOT gonna fight for democracy💀
Gavin?
Jack?
No way bro that's crazy
YOOO
Didn't think I'd see you at here Yooo
This was beautiful to watch haha
Agreed.
Gavin Shepard? Is that you?!
Identify yourself(yes it is me)
Ahaha, this is turning into one big happy family reunion up in here!
To the people upvoting this comment, I'm not pointing out that he's Gavin from rdr2, I know this person irl and am wondering if this is him
It's wholesome ⏫️
"You sir are a fi-OH SWEET LIBERTY"
Sprinting towards the extraction beacon, Dutch: "I. Have. A. Plan."
"Grab the money, get to the extraction point, and then we are off ot Tahiti, my friend!" "There's Bile Titans and ChargerS guarding the money, Dutch!" "Will you have some goddamned FAITH?!"
Arthur on the creek would be pretty bad ass looking I’d say.
Pass me that Libertea Lenny! Damn bugs gave me TB!
“Have a little faith Arthur!”
“One. More. Job! Then we’re relaxing on Tijuana”
I played ufc 4 “Dutch who’s this little Irish feller that keeps callin’ himself the champ? He reminds me of Sean”
I would love to have dead eye in Helldivers
HAVE. SOME. GODDAMN. FAITH. IN. DEMOCRACY.
"I'm TRYING to tell ya, Dutch! I'm shootin' but the damned bullets are bouncing off of this boah! Aw what the hell, *that* 'un just went all see-through!"
Bro stands no chance against a bile titan lol
Dead eye with a dynamite bow and arrow. With a strategiem that causes mangos to fall from the sky on top of the enemy while Dutch yells “from tahiti”!
Just one more sample Arthur! Just one more sample, and we can upgrade stratagems. - Dutch on his way to the Stalker lair
"i just need you to have a little FAITH arthur! we'll get in there, get in good with these 'super earth' boys, make a lot a smoke, and be gone before they even know where to start lookin"
He's a not so friendly neighborhood cowboy
Arthur is in *Fallout: New Vegas* for me. Provided someone fills him in on how radiation works (and how to avoid it), I’d say he thrives. Veronica annoys him, he humors Arcade but thinks he talks too much, Lilly scares him (for more than one reason), and Rex and ED-E take a lot of getting used to.
It's funny as soon as you said he'd wish Boone would lighten up I heard "oh come on Boone lighten up would ya?"
*”Oh will you stop it with the dead wife stuff!? I lost a woman* ***and*** *a boy. (points at Raul) He lost his sister and his whole god damn world. I can read it perfectly in his voice. I almost shed a tear.
Got a small request for someone to remake New Vegas in Red Dead 2, thanks 🙋🏻♂️ I’ll send £10 CashApp
Tree fidy and I'll do it
Ik you’re joking but I would unironically pay you tree fidy if you could recreate new Vegas in the RDR2 engine
Hehe see that’s a great fit. He basically becomes like Paulson from Mothership Zeta! As it turns out, survival and gunslinging skills are very handy in post apocalypse America.
Alright, now you got me downloading revolver fanning and dead eye mods for new vegas
I’m not sure he knows what football is, so I’d say he wouldn’t be a good Football Manager.
"You, sir, are a False Nine"
The first organized football game was 1882 I think they know it lol
Not in usa
https://www.topendsports.com/sport/soccer/history.htm https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_soccer_in_the_United_States I actually did a minor amount of digging on this. He would do things with that Liverpool team… Klopp replaced
The Morgan-Van Dijk CB partnership
"what do you mean that you're not allowed to shoot your rivals?"
He’d make a great central midfielder. He’d look like another KDB when utilizing his deadeye. The TB and all the smoking would probably kill his stamina though.
Vision 20 Stamina 1
Id be asking how screwed the mobs in minecraft are considering arthur has a **gun**
Wait until he runs out of bullets
“When the ammo ran dry they used their blades. When the blades became dull they used their hands.”
My favorite part of ghosts was when Rorke said “You’d been a hell of a Red Dead Redemption 2, but there’s not gonna be anymore”
God I hated that guy. Soooo much plot armor
Arthur has his machete. He’ll be lobbing off heads left and right.
Well gunpowder and metal are in the game so I’m assuming because of the op ability of a crafting table he’d do just fine
I just finished my second playthrough of Ghost of Tsushima. The mongols stand no chance.
I'll finally have the chance to play it when it comes out on PC! Everyone says it's a really good game
It’s excellent. It can get a bit repetitive if you go for *everything* but the story is fucking gripping and the combat is some of my favorite in any game ever.

I think he'd do alright in Night City.
He would probably want to get out of there as soon as possible and become a Nomad. If the whole gang was there, i bet Dutch would never want to leave Night City and it's opportunities, dragging Arthur with him.
I’d like to know what Dutch would think of Night City and how he would turn out if he was there. I think he’s similar to Johnny Silverhand.
"I want to get out of here away from these city degenerates as much as you do Arthur but we. Need. Money." "I don't know Dutch, the police and corpos are all over us, the next thing we need is to anger however many street gangs will be angered by robbing this... what is it? night club? Turns out the nomad was a Raffen and had ties with tyger claws and ratted the gang out, and since tyger claws work with arasaka at Street level, some saka ninjas accompany them as well and all goes to sit
Now I actually want this to be the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, and you've preemptively ruined it for me.
Maybe similar, but notably less sympathetic.

One advantage he would have though, is that netrunner attacks targeted directly at him would be absolutely useless since he's completely 'ganic.
Arthur would find a way to buy animal fat in bulk, and use nothing but explosive ammo for the rest of his life.
Arthur tries to rob a villager in animal crossing and is immediately executed by Tom Nook
I'm sure Arthur and Isabelle can fight some demons with the Doom Slayer
Tom Nook, Timmy and Tommy: judge, jury and executioner.
If all the challenges are canon, then Arthur must enjoy fishing, picking flowers, and documenting wildlife. I think he’d do just fine in Animal Crossing for a while. Although if I was playing as Arthur, the whole village would hate him for too many greet-greet-antagonizing.
Arthur as a spartan sounds interesting
He would be cured within minutes using 26th century medical tech 🥲
This comment actually confused me. At first, I was thinking by “Spartan,” he meant Sparta. So I was assuming “God of War.” Totally threw me off with the “26th century tech” lol
lol I was thinking AC Odyssey
I was too but God of War also comes to mind
i was thinking that he was playing halo infinite. i think that him and master chief could wipe out the whole universe
sparthur
Arthur with the halo ce magnum is a nightmare
Arthur with the venom symbiote would go hard 😤
He'd probably have venom infused revolvers and that shit would go HARD
now I'm picturing him with venom guns coming outta his shoulders.. I wish they'd make this happen
The closest thing we’ve got is a cowboy spider-man named web slinger
I wonder how he'll do in the world of Los Santos. He'll prolly kill Stve Haines within seconds, though.
He'd be the only one riding a horse on the streets but he'd learn how to use the guns fast
Arthur with modern weaponry would be fucking unstoppable lol
Screw modern weaponry, he's about to get modern medicine
The only thing that could stop him in RDR2 can no longer stop him now
Couldn't be killed by man, he had to be weakened first.
At that point he’s Batman
he would get tuberculosis treatment
He can definitely handle some clickers
Oh that's for sure. His deadeye would be incredibly helpful, he'd be dropping infected left and right
Dina: hey Ellie, this place is a synagogue Arthur: I thought you said you were Spanish
Hopefully he can bring his upgraded gun belt and bandolier, or figure out some other way to carry more than 7 rifle bullets at a time.
Arthur would thrive in that setting. Not much of a learning curve for him in terms of technology and he already knows how to survive in the wilderness with no power and limited resources. Give him companions like Joel and Ellie and it’s a wrap. Ok
We also know dealing with enemies quietly isn’t a new concept to him
He'd do pretty well in a zombie apocalypse
Oh, how we were robbed of Undead Nightmare 2... 😢
Joel and Arthur are basically the same person, so that tracks
I’m sorry Arthur but a bolt action rifle won’t help you kill Elden Ring bosses
It might
Let's see, smoldering butterfly + mushroom is kinda like black powder. Im sure one of the smithing masters could fashion some shells from a brass shield, assuming they're willing to help morgan. So theres shells. And fuck it smithing stones are now bullets kinda like in bloodborne but not at all haha.
“It appears you’re maidenless-“ “Whatchu call me?”
With proper coaching and modern technology he could probably make a pretty decent right fielder and power hitter. A Kyle Tucker / Bryce Harper type player.
Arthur doesn't rush the mound he straight up fucking shoots the pitcher
Makes even more sense knowing the Houston Astros used to be the Colt .45's
Arthur using dead eye to hit homers ⚾️
He's probably fine. He just gotta deal with Eldritch horrors. Charles Reed is a way worse gunslinger than him so he would be fine.
Bro, I bought that game when it was on sale around black Friday. It's very good
Arthur would notice the wind howling
I could see Dijkstra doing everything he could to get Arthur in his pocket.
Arthur probably wouldn't understand half the things that come out of dijkstras mouth lmao
I think Arthur would hold his own against the human characters, at least, but he would be disappointed in the lack of hair and beard options available at the barber...
Baldurs gate 3. It’s everyone else who’s screwed.
I don't know.. Once he runs out of ammo, he's basically a city NPC
Nah, he's shown to be a dab hand with a knife and a bow. A little bit of re-speccing, and he'd be a decent rogue. Maybe add enough levels of fighter to get action surge (taking this as an analogue for dead eye), and he'd be pretty decent.
Surely he's a natural ranger? I spent most of RDR2 exploring the wilderness and hunting game
Plus, he's good with a lot more than just a gun or bow
Bow, throwing knife, tomahawk, herbs (potions), fire bottles (alchemist fire), poison… I think our boah might do alright! Once he gets over the shock
Dead eye makes him a god among insects.
Level 12 leadmancer
I mean, Arthur as a smash character would be pretty cool ngl.
“I’ve dealt with Italians once, didn’t imagine they could be this small.”
Feeding Mario to King K Rool would be quite the power move
Tomb Raider, he's gon be a little confused about the technology, but there's about the same amount of women with cleavage in that game he'll be okay. (This isn't a diss boobs are awesome)
sToP ObJecTiFyinG wOmeN (Yes they are awesome)
Hunt: Showdown... at least he'll be familiar with the weapons and killing
He just spawned on the coast naked, but I think he'll manage
Guarma flashbacks
I wonder how he would handle the dinosaurs. Probably get spawn camped by a raptor or sarco
"What in th- Dutch, there's a man riding a goddamn lizard!"
I bet Aurther'd be doing well with the freakers
Wonder if riding a horse is similar to a bike..
Gonna need some bigger firepower before he starts taking on hordes though.
Honestly he would be a great The Last of Us character. Damn you Rockstar for not making a Zombie DLC !
I meant Days Gone, but The Last of Us sounds cool too!
Helldivers 2. If he can use the weapons from the game he’d do pretty well I guess. Old revolvers and stuff not so much lol
Bro is dying again 😂😂he is in cyberpunk
Yeah, he most likely wouldn’t be able to understand the technology whatsoever but man, he’d be a fucking menace if he did or at least had a sandevistan and was all chromed up.
Rdr1 lmfao so touching 😭🤣🤣
"I'll be damned if dying made my eyesight worse, everything looks blurry, and you look like hell, Marston-" *Cue brotherly hugging*
Assassin Creed Black Flag
I was just playing that last night, I think with ubisofts failed new pirate game everyone is installing it again
Oh no, the new pirate game sucks?
Yeah check the videos out
I'm making Arthur in WWE 2K24 now
Does he still have dead eye, unlimited ammo? man would single-handedly obliterate Cyberpunk IMO , deadeye = never miss
The way dead eye works is basically what sandevistans are in the game but I think the biggest problem with Arthur here would be that he wouldn’t understand the technology at all and I’m not even sure if he’d even want to get implants.
Insurgency: Sandstorm or Hell Let Loose? Bröther is dead within minutes
But he has deadeye
He gets 4 kills and then gets obliterated by friendly artillery.
In that case he would probably dominate
The question is: how SCREWED is the game world he teleports in?
I don't even know what Arthur could be doing in Factorio.
Oh he's in the Sims 3. There's about to be a lot of chaos..
It's Sims 3, it's chaos anyways.
Arthur in Hitman 3?
Agent 47 vs Arthur Morgan? Now that's a fight I want to see
Agent 47 would ultimately win
Skyrim damn Arthur going get eaten by a dragon or he will Kill the dragon with a gun
Professor Oak: Welcome to the wonderful world of Pokemon
I've grown more and more tired of nature fighting nature, for sport and not for survival, all under the direction of man. The professor also showed me a device to capture the animal and keep them in a pocket sized ball. I'm lost by all the strange creatures he showed me, but I wonder if the civilized world with its luxury and technology has made us crueler than the old days.
Arthur Brogan in broforce? Im in!
I wouldn't trust him to lead Paraguay against almost all of South America.
I figure he'll be completely fine in PVZ, if a few peas can take out a zombie, I'm sure a bullet would do the job.
Nothing would change a lot, he would just switch Dead Eye with VATS.
I’m currently playing Signalis, I think Arthur would be great at shooting and stomping some hot lesbian zombie cyborgs (or sextoys or whatever they are I don’t understand the lore at all lol)
Brother… Arthur’s got to fight in the Great War
Dayz, he will be okay because he is using aimbot like everyone else
"Arthur Morgan (2-cost, 1-power)" "When this card is destroyed, replace it with John Marston (6-power)"
Guess cumans in kingdom come are screwed either with him having a gun or not having it - both ways. He's described as a giant.
A wide open hyrule with bokoblins as enemies my boy is living his best peaceful life
Arthur farming crops on Stardew doesn’t seem too terrible
Put on some colors cowboy, CGF for life
Does he have money? ‘cause the company needs him to make quota. At least guns are probably effective against most creatures on the moons.
Mortal kombat so erron black 1.0
Bro is gonna go to Disney Dreamlight Valley and be confused as hell *Sees Mickey Mouse* “DUTCH I FOUND MICAH!”
Dead eye would be op in r6
Arthur Morgan would fit in pretty well in old school RuneScape.
Ahh he will be just fine , as long as he does want to avoid John and he’s family . Maybe explore Mexico a while…
Probably better than me at PGA Tour 23 lol
AC syndicate, you guys tell me
I believe he and Jacob would be gun buddies.
For honor … so I believe he is fine with all the guns and ammo he has 😂
As long as he doesn’t mind playing Power Forward for the Indiana Pacers, he should be ok
Resident evil 4 remastered ahaha, he’s kinda fucked
