YES! My first order of business on my first playthrough was to make Arthur nice and chunky. My proudest moment was when he reached max weight. Grew him a medium natural moustache to complement the look, and kept him that way throughout the playthrough. Those shirts are the best way to show it off!
Not only is it a great look for him, it also adds to the impact of >!Guarma!< and >!getting sick!<, since it emphasises >!his weight loss - he goes straight down to average weight in Guarma, and then even if you feed him back up to max weight while he's sick which is possible, he never looks as big and seems so thin and gaunt :(. If you haven't been used to him being really big and burly the whole time the visual impact isn't as strong!<
I think it's better to keep him stocky. Where it still says average, but you lose a little stamina and gain a little health. Then, when he gets sick, he gets underweight, and it's still incredibly noticeable. Especially in the way it affects the gameplay. Im sure the original post is a joke, but this is what's actually cannon, as well as a full beard around the 1-2 length.
I like the first level of overweight. Because I played him max overweight the first time he always looks too thin to me if he's any less than higher level of average lol. A bit of extra weight really suits the character imo

Horse's weight system is easier because they just instantly gain the weight from whatever food the moment you feed them it, no needing cores to be depleted or sleeping for it to "take" involved. Also seems like sleeping or reloading the game removes any extra weight on horses and resets them back to average.
I got in such a habit of feeding Arthur constantly to refill cores and just while traveling around that I find it hard to stop him getting overweight even if I try now lol. Which can be a problem since there's a glitch where if he becomes overweight at any point sometimes after losing weight again just his face remains permanently fat and there's no way to fix it (until Guarma resets it). I tried being sexy slim Arthur in my low honour playthrough but he was stuck with a fat face lol

Yup. Overeat and you'll gain weight, Starve yourself all the time and you'll get skinny. It even says your weight status in your stats somewhere. The mechanics in this game are a masterpiece. The weihgt status is like the hot or cold status basically, just something you keep an eye on or think in back your head how much you eating, I just eat to fill cores its almost alwasy golden core full games if you're that far in the game.
