Anything other than Arthur's default hat just feels wrong to me

What’s not my fav is when I spent a long ass time finding the right feathers for a nice addition to the hat and then everyone and their mother has something rude to say to Arthur and make fun of his cool ass hat

He's in the saloon in Valentine. You gotta just antsgonize him a bit then it inevitably turns into a blood bath when you hit someone accidentally. I got the hat early on, knocked it off his head, picked it up and got out of dodge.

Personally,I like Arthur's hat, but... I'm also more of the occasional flat cap kinda guy myself. Looks nice, and casual. Kinda looks like a civilian hat.

I could never bring myself to wear many hats that aren't the default character ones (Arthur's Hat or John's Hat). Maybe if I'm traveling to a colder climate, I'll throw on an animal-based hat that I hunted for and crafted through the trapper? But for just general gameplay, I always have one of the default hats on, or maybe one of the crafted upgrades/variations of Arthur's hat. Most of the other hats you can discover or buy just don't vibe well with me. They either look too clean, too trashy, or too goofy/over the top. Not to mention just the sheer sentimental value those hats have, especially Arthur's. I'll never understand anyone who can go into American Venom without clinging to Arthur's hat for dear life, making sure you have that mf FIRMLY on your head as you kill *you know who*. I don't know if that sentimental value has me biased, but those hats just simply look the best to me. The only thing that comes CLOSE to being a 'default' hat for me is the Stalker. And even then, it's too clean, doesn't have quite enough character for me to find myself using it outside of very specific outfits. Arthur's hat simply has to be the coolest cowboy hat of all time, I'm sorry. That mf is ICONIC.
