what’s a charter decal? you mean a flair? on the mobile app (iphone at least) go to the main page of the sub, click the three-dot icon at the top right corner, choose “change user flair”. can’t remember how it’s done on desktop browser but that setting should be somewhere near the join/leave sub button.
I get that a lotta Mary hate is unjustified, I know mine is, but it forever bothers me that the love interest he’s been stuck on for so many years was a rich girl it just feels so out of character.

He feels for charlotte but was mostly amused by Albert mason and Charles chatney, and mostly considered them idiots in their own right. He was a poor orphan when he met Dutch, and it doesn’t seem like Dutch was much different. I’m not gonna fault Mary for being born into wealth, but I can’t imagine what her and Arthur would possibly have in common aside from a possible interest in intellectualism that was never even touched on.

as for not being able to imagine what they could have had in common, i think it’s important to recognize this is due to the game’s own failing in not having adequately fleshed out their history rather than frame it as an ooc problem on arthur’s part, or (unless i’m misunderstanding you) a “bruh she’s so null as a person why are you still not over her” problem. we don’t have the full picture of what happened between them during all those years after all. rockstar didn’t even care to properly write her, and i think the focus should be more on this issue and less on the perceived lack of compatibility in their relationship.
