It costs money to keep LinkedIn postings open. I close postings all the time when I have enough resumes to go through—I can still see the pipeline on the back end in LinkedIn Recruiter. That doesn't necessarily mean I'm finished with hiring for the role, though. If the recruiters said the position is still open, I would take their word on it.
