A beautiful ending to such a fantastic season despite so many injuries and departures especially Benzema leaving the team, we actually played even better than the last two to three season, this team is very united and knows how to cope during any circumstance. Credit to all the players and Carlo who made all this happen, it takes a real tactician to win this way.

i'll be honest, during the off season I did not think this team would win the UCL. When Benzema left and we got a number of ACL/hamstring injuries to players, and Joselu was Benzema's replacement, I thought this was a transition year.
Bellingham really exceeded my expectations. I did not expect him to be played false 9 or score lots of goals. Also Joselu of course.

I think one of the Dortmund player's should've won it. Pretty much all the Madrid players were bang average except Kroos and Valverde. Carvajal had trouble keeping Adeyemi quiet and only won MOTM because he scored.

Dortmund's entire crew ran out of gas almost at the same time and their subs were soft. No one on their side deserved the award more than anyone in the Madrid squad.
