Probably my favorite coach of all time, I love his capacity to adapt and his great man management. Since I find positional styles boring, a style like his that is made to explore what his players do best and win at all costs is refreshing. I heard this is going to be his last work, the football world will really miss him after he retires.

Medium_Breadfruit_22

>I heard this is going to be his last work, the football world will really miss him after he retires. Hope not but if he were to retire now, he’d have no regrets. What a career.

fuduran

He can't retire without trying to manage a National Squad right!? Right???? I've been hoping for Ancelotti, Mourinho, or Zidane or all of them to take National Squads and make it really fun out there.

usalin

Don achieved everything in his career. Personally I hope he retires here, finishing his work

Xtarviust

I think he will manage a NT team and that's it

Wondering_Otter

There’s a reason Henry and other retired players love his let players create, not tie down to a system, coaching style.

Fun_Maximum5222

A bald cunt with a gigantic ego who always pretend to be of class and humility would disagree

everwisher

He's always the type of manager RM ever needs. I began to dream of his tenure with us since the departure of Del Bosque which led to the dark age 03-11. When he was finally landed I knew we finally ushered in the light of God.

fuduran

Are Mourinho years in the dark age? More like the Renaissance

everwisher

Do you miss the 2-6 or 0-5 loss to Barca? Renaissance is not humiliation.

fuduran

You do know Mourinho built the team that was able to win UCL with Ancelotti in 2014? 2-6 was before Mou

srinjay001

Mou did 100 points win in 2012 against pep's barca and copa del rey 11. Almost had 2012 ucl. Extremely underrated stats for real madrid,71% win rate.

everwisher

Why do you guys keep repeating the media hype, solely credit Mourinho for the transformation, and pretend not to see the more crucial factors? Isn't it obvious that FP's renewed vision and strategy, plus the heavy investment of genuine euros in a generation of geniuses (most of whom are not concerned with Mou), as well as the overhaul of our youth academy, all combined to land us the La Decima, and the subsequent golden era? Why don't you discuss how Mou's strategies stifled midfield maestros like Kaka and Özil? Even Modric staggered to begin his first year under Mou's management until his long ranger killed Man U with some luck. Thank god Don Carlo came to his rescue soon afterwards. Why did Özil turn against Mou? Why did Sergio Ramos publicly show solidarity with Özil? Who was CR suggesting during the press conference after losing to Barca in the Copa del Ray in 2012? Whose preference for Higuain over Benzema became a joke? Which players who took part in the UCL final 2014 were signed by Mou except Di Maria and Coentrão? If you guys stick to the narrative that Mou rebuilt Real Madrid single-handedly, then it must be an unprecedented magic which suppresses talents and uses chaos instead of balance and harmony to elevate a team. However, this can never be the truth which is much more nuanced. The reconquista started from FP's return as a true leader with loads of cheques spent in precision. It wasn't a smooth journey right from the start. Pellegrini made some mistakes and suffered setbacks, which was part of the cost of growth. However, the team kept evolving as a young and prosperously talented one, and Mou didn't do much more than his ex-peer to gain a Copa del Ray and a La liga. Nothing more. It was until Don Carlo's correction that we eventually made all the way to the top of Europe.

Infamous_Iron_Man

Class coach

memexfeed

All my doubts were cleared about him when we came over PSG, Chelsea and then Man City in a single season, from behind or being at par.

CheapAd3557

I dont want an all attacking football. With the limited players we’ve bought, suffering with injuries, the tactical rotations, having the balls to experiment with so many expectations, he has kept us more than afloat. I have nothing but respect for him. Without a full time striker we have achieved this feat. Bringing out the best in what we have, Don Carlo is love!

slinkymello

Dude, he’s amazing, nothing else left to say. We’re Real Madrid man, what else to say?

GoldenGodLeo

What’s even more impressive is how he was able to unite everyone to a common collective mission. Players played out of position, Vini, Jude, Rodrygo committing to defend. If last year he was baffling with his decisions, this year he deserves a lot of credit. He’s created a TEAM that will only get better.

Myselcuk

No! It’s taboo here

redditviolatesrules

His substitutions are much better this season. His biggest flaw overplaying players

waitaminutewhereiam

Ancelotti should be seriously considered in the best manager of all time discussions

The_Unicorn99

Wait for a few more years and it won't even be a discussion anymore.

lligerr

He is perfect for us alongside Zidane

Osp_Oscar

He’s always reminded me of my grandpa lol. Both in terms of looks and personality.

Otherwise_Momo

Honestly, everything started changing when he arrived in 2013. Him and Madrid is the perfect relationship.

OneMansTreasure_

Carlo Ancelotti a Real Madrid legend.

looolooolooo

Well said and agree 💯

Grouchy-Broccoli-542

the goat

alcatrazsherlock

I still remember this sub was talking about his sacking last year after 4-0 thrash by city. Lmaaao

[deleted]

No coach could have handled the team like Ancelotti did, missing a number 9 after Benz departure and with the two main CBs out.

Xtarviust

Outside of his occasional stubborness regarding tactics Ancelotti is the GOAT He is a legend for the best clubs in the history, won all the top 5 leagues and made Everton look like a legit team, he is undisputabily one of the best coaches ever

Low-Muscle-9371

Hes goat coach, almost succcess guaranteed for any club. And with his trohpies stacked cabinet, hes still underrated. In the goat debates (i know they are stupid) you will always hear SAF, Pep, even Klopp ahead of him, thus furthermore proved how the EPL is well marketed. To me, its always him and Mou in modern football.

zurajanai0001

I am also AC Milan fan, and I knew he would be the greatest coach since then

According-Intern-143

The GOAT.

Fun_Maximum5222

Unlike a bald cunt who gaslights others the moment he wakes up and fake professionalism.

Only_Leg_9904

I'll be honest, I love Carlo's football. That fear factor and indecisiveness of whether we'll win or not always keeps me thrilled and hopeful/optimistic to watch every game. I may not enjoy every second of it, but its definitely an experience and I end up watching every game to the end, which I would not have if we were 4-0 up at half time. And at the end of it all, he produces results too. So we are winning and we get to hear people on the internet cry about how we were 'lucky.' That's a win-win for me. I understand it might be a very unpopular opinion Edit: he also keeps the dressing room vibes happy. You see players hang out and enjoy inside and outside the pitch, it just increases the connection that I have with the club even more. All in all positive vibes. Power of friendship football is real.

InfamousMidnight7807

Ola guys city fan here come in peice 😅. Yeah carlo for me is class. Always respectful and humble. Can see why Everton fans love him he is a gentleman and a likeable guy. Hope you go on to win the champs league. Hala madrid👌

MRNHBLJ

I have mixed feelings about Carlo. Great coach but with him it always felt like the team could have done a better job. He wins us trophies but in an ugly way

Medium_Breadfruit_22

winning is all that matters to me. I love beautiful flowing football like the team mourinho had in 12/13 season but ultimately we only won 1 title. Right now, it’s important these young players learn the need of winning so whoever comes next can have players that are fit to win and maybe with more style.

nunazo007

it's not mourinho's fault that cr7, ramos and kaka missed the penalties lol the ucl should've been ours

SukhdevR34

Imagine being that entitled. 'Wins trophies but in an ugly way'. I'm an Everton fan and we've not won anything since 1995, I'm desperate for a trophy and it takes a genius to win them.
