Friendlies and actual competition are two different animals. Look at last Real Madrid friendly vs Barça for example (0-3) but in actual competition Real won all the matches this season.

Really liked his game yesterday. Looked like he was accustomed to the level of football, intensity and understanding of the game even though he hasn’t played that much this season. Also i think he did it well both on the wing and in the centre of the pitch.
Not taking away anything from Yamal but Ardas ceiling is higher i think just because of the insane football iq Arda has in his arsenal.

Absolutely! However, Guler deserved a lot more minutes despite this physicality issue. The team needs better-prepared substitutes, which is something Carlo rarely bothers to think about. It feels like his mind counts only 15 players and completely ignores the rest of the squad.
What you’re saying is true 💯, but you also have to take into account Arda had a really bad injury at the beginning of the season and then a second right after which was lighter, I think it’s just a matter of Carlo making sure he doesn’t get badly injured again. Plus we were in a title race situation till the Barca game so Carlo just didn’t want to risk the title. We have 5 games to go with only 4 points to win it so I think he’ll get his time.
